Very professional and hard workers. Did an excellent job at a reasonable price. Always on time and cleaned up after themselves. Several of our neighbors have used as well. Highly recommend.

We hired this provider based on a Contractor's recommendation (Total Home Contractors). Because we had such a favorable relationship with the Contractor (who we found on Angie's List because of their positive comments), we decided to hire Doug Buford / Screen Tech, LLC. His price was a little less than others had quoted, which concerned us, but we hired him because of the referral - and he could do the job on the soonest date. Unfortunately, while he promised that he would get work done in a day and not leave a mess... that wasn't what happened - and was the first of many untruths. He started the job on a Thursday morning (very early, with music blaring - something we have heard about from our neighbors repeatedly), and he left just before noon due to the extreme heat. Okay, fine. However, when he came back the next morning, it wasn't to complete the job - it was to pick up his gear to head to another "big money" job. How nice. He said he always had that other job booked but had forgotten about it. With that one statement, he told us several things. For example, he's not good at scheduling, and if a bigger job comes around while he's in the middle of your job, too bad for you! Well, our ripped screens had been removed, but the new screens hadn't been installed; therefore, we were left in worse shape - a VERY unprotected pool. There was a safety issue, as well as a cleanliness issue. We also, of course, had out-of-town company visiting that weekend. In the end, he did come back on Saturday morning to finish installing the screens, after much "debate," but you better believe we heard about this in a way that ensured us of this big "favor" he was doing for us (and he wanted to get paid since we only pay upon job completion). Then, that weekend, when enjoying our out-of-town company, we found cigarette butts all over the landscaped area inside the enclosure. They weren't there before, and no one in our home smokes; we did see his worker smoking while working. Yippee! How gross. Anyway, in addition to that, we noticed a slit in one of the top screens. It's a clear knife slit - obviously, when they sized the screen, they added that blemish. Yes, it's a small area but it's not very quality or professional work. This job was done July 2011, and we're still waiting for that screen section to be replaced. Occasionally, he used to call to tell us we were still on his "to do" list (not that we believed him), and now, he's even stopped that charade. There is no chance he'll be coming back, and there is no way anyone else should hire this man and this company.
Description of Work: We have a screen enclosure around our pool that needed replacing. He tore out the old screens and put in new screens on the whole enclosure. He also fixed the doors that had come unhinged, and he reattached the downspouts. This was all quoted in the original price.
