Riverside Roofing

I contacted Greg Alberti (aka Riverside Roofing) back in April 2017 requesting a bid on soffit and facia repairs to my parent's primary home and a rental home they own. Greg returned my call within 72 hours and came out within a week or so, at which time he provided us with bids for both jobs. We gave Greg the go-ahead to begin work at my parent's home ASAP. He stated he might be able to begin work within 3-4 days, but if not, should be able to complete the job the following week (that was in April). Greg called us the following week and stated he was running behind and was planning to complete the job one week later. Greg never contacted us again to provide us with an update or to begin the work. Both my father and I have attempted to contact Greg via phone and via messaging here on Angie's List. Greg gave my Dad and excuse that his helper was sick, but he did not provide any new timeline for beginning or completing the work. I called and left 2 separate messages on Greg's phone asking simply for an update. Greg did not return either of these calls. I've come to expect unprofessional behavior from the fly by night contractors in Florida, but Greg seemed nice when I initially met him, so I'm disappointed that it's now 4 1/2 months later and the job is still not done. It appears Greg is yet another Florida contractor (I'm assuming he's licensed??) who can talk the talk.. but who can't walk the walk.

OK - had to go and get mettal to complete job, did good work.

Very fair price and excellent workmanship.
