Eric? Came to my home unannounced to give me a quote for landscaping the front of my home. He presented himself well and apologized for surprising me. Stated he tried to set up an appointment but....... He suggested a few ideas for the project which seemed acceptable and said he would get back to me with a price the next day. I never heard from him so wrote through this site to ask for pricing promised. He wrote that my email address did not work so I resent it to him. Have had no correspondence from him since.

Eric came to my home and spoke with me for at least an hour to go over what I wanted to do around a new lanai cage on new property/home. He seemed to know exactly what I should have for trees and plants and made suggestions. I stressed the importance of sticking with my budget, Eric made every effort to do that. He was prompt with the proposal and stated he would be busy for a couple of weeks and did follow up with me when he said he would. Eric performed all that he stated he would do, followed up with a phone call and checked in with me to make sure all was done to my satisfaction. His crew we're very polite and efficient. They worked well and accomplished the work in very hot weather without complaint! **The only B rate was an issue on one day with the crew returning to continue the job, there was a delay and I did not know if they would return (this was due to another job running into problems) other than that they were punctual and on time. I had a problem with a few shrubs and Eric returned to check after I phoned him with my concerns, Eric replaced them at no charge! The issue was not with the landscaping or shrubs but due to too much water/wetness on my property. I would highly reccommend Marolowe's Landscaping, Eric takes pride in his work, is very honest and cares about customer satisfaction!

I requested an estimate. Mr. Marlowe asked for photos, which I sent to him. He gave me his estimate based on the photos, and scheduled the removal in the same email. The crew showed up as scheduled, even before I realized that they were here. By the time I went outside to see what was going on, most of the work was done. Someone else came by the next day to grind down the stump, and he made sure that there was enough room in the dirt to plant another tree or shrub.

Eric came out went over everything and answered all my questions. Did exactly what he said he would and did a Great Job, He said he stands behind his work and I will trust him on that as he seems like a good dude. In fact' Eric if youre in the neighborhood give me a call and Drinks are on me' Thanks.

It was an extremely hot and muggy day but the three man crew kept at it. The oak tree in my backyard had grown over a large portion of my roof and it took extensive cleaning out, as well as trimming a couple branches that hung over the water. As a courtesy, they also cleaned out the gutter that was under the tree branches. In the front yard, they carefully trimmed back a fir (evergreen) tree that was getting too big, cleaned out the pods and branches of a palm tree, and shaped up a holly tree that had never been trimmed. They cleaned all the debris and left my yard looking good. This is my second experience with Eric and I appreciate his professionalism and fair prices. Thanks to his hard working crew! Gail Peterson

Eric Marlowe came out on the initial evaluation/recommendation appointment. He was very professional and personable, offering suggestions as well as taking our desires into consideration. We agreed on a plan and he provided a written estimate within 2 days. The work began a couple weeks later at our request, and it was completed within 3 days. We were very happy with the results. There was even service after the sale, with return trips to adjust plant location and adjusting sprinkler system spray patterns. All in all, a pleasurable experience. Highly recommended!

Well, no problems at all. Just that the quote came in quite high. I feel kind of unfair rating his price average as I have no comparisons for reference. But the price was quite a bit higher than I expected.

He made a few suggestions but did not provide the promised plan. What he provided would have been given to me with a free estimate. Not sure what I paid the $25 for.

Purchased special offer for $25. landscape design. He only provided a list of plants, no design. Emailed and requested design with no response.

They spend a lot of time adding or taking away various things that I was thinking about doing. In deciding I always called him many times and he had to return my calls, he was very polite and the crew was very excellent and very responsive to any questions or requests that I had. They cleaned up better than any company I have ever had. They are my favorite out of the several that I have tried for tree trimming. They do take away the debris and he is very knowledgeable, so I think he is worth the price. They did extra for me.

They were more expensive than we could afford; but he did a really nice job of planning and that's all I paid for. I paid for a number of plants, kind of plants and breakdown of the labor. They are very nice people and I would recommend them. Their responsiveness was great. I am sure it was worth it, but we couldn't afford it.

He has come and met with us twice and has been very responsive. We have not moved forward with the job yet.

Lawn mowing: Eric's crew has been mowing the yard for about a year now, which is how long we've lived in the house. He has the business for a few houses around us, so it made sense to give him a go and they've done a good job. I gave them A's not because they do it all right, every week, all the time, but because if I call/text Eric, he will get it fixed or make it right, and I've only had a few issues in the year of service. One less thing to worry about. I wish they'd work with a little better attention to detail at times (stop running over the protective plastic around my sprinkler heads, pick up fallen branches/fronds instead of mowing around them, etc), but all in all they do excellent work, and I know if there's an issue, Eric answers immediately and follows up. Tree maintenance: We have 40+ trees on the property, mostly 20+ yr old oaks that had never been trimmed, and it was a mess. I had two companies out to give estimates before I saw on Angie's List that Marlowe's also does tree trimming. I asked Eric to come out. Given three options-all licensed, insured-Eric knew more about the trees I had than the others, gave me more information about what would work best going forward, and his price was in the middle of the other two. I picked him, and they started within a couple of weeks. Big project--8 days, I think it was--and the crew cleaned up after every day and hauled it all to the county disposal site (it's illegal for commercial contractors to leave yard waste at the curb... did you know that?). They did a very good job. On the last day, after all of their great work, as they were cleaning up, they accidentally backed up into my brick mailbox. The guys felt like h***, and after all the great work they did, I felt like h*** for them, but I still wanted my mailbox fixed. Eric tried several masons, and kept trying to find one to do the work. It took about a week, but he found a good one who had to schlep to Orlando to get the correct brick. He built a better mailbox than I had before and we called it square. That is all you can ask from a contractor--do it well and make it right if you goof. They did a great job, but they made a goof and they made it right.

Eric arrived at my house to do a landscape analysis when he said he would. He was very helpful with suggestions, and very professional. He came back a few days later with a design layout and proposal.

Both Eric and Josh were extremely professional and easy to work with. They took their time to clearly explain the work. All work was completed as promised, and left very clean.

Call Eric in morning of 16th and he had someone call me back within 30 minutes to set up time that day to come look at system. Came back next day with new motor and replaced. Was totally up and running by second day. I call that great service!! Will definitely use if needed again.

You did not ask about experience with Angies List personell, The first person would get an F. The second person a B-.

They come every week to cut the lawn, edge, and blow. They always do a good job. Part of the $110 monthly fee will be to trim and feed my trees and plants.
