Choice Electrical

I was having issues with my hot water heater and it was not getting any power. They came out and checked to verify that I had power to the hot water heater which I did. They contacted the hot water heater vendor and a new computer board needed to be shipped. The part was going to be shipped overnight and I would have it by 10:30am. Choice Electric said that they would block off their time to come to my house about noon - 2pm the next day. I called them and they said they would be back out about noon. They called me later and asked if they could come earlier as they got their job done early. They were very professional, and customer service focused. I would do business with them in the future.

Nina and Jim were punctual and performed all our required work over a 2 day period (split over 2 days because of attic work and heat index). Very knowledgeable and personable. Initial estimate was pretty much right on, but we required extra bracing for fans and heavy light which added some to total, understandably. They cleaned up as they went and vacuumed afterwards which left everything as they found it. Totally happy and will use them for our next projects. Highly recommend them.

Nina and Jim arrived right on time and were personable and professional. They went to work immediately, discovered the problem and some other issues and fixed them all! Our house is wired with 110V and not everyone is comfortable working with low voltage electricity. They had had experience in that area, which was great! They cleaned up after themselves and were very nice to talk to. I would definitely call them again.

This is the third time that I have called Nina and Jim to do work for me, and I highly recommend them. I found them on Angie's list and each time have been more impressed with them. Today was definitely a challenge for them. Nina is tiny so she had the nasty job of crawling through a low attic full of insulation trying to find where wiring was leading. Jim had to disassemble and reassemble 3 ceiling fans. It was a real nightmare, but they did an awesome job. I cannot say enough good things about them. They do quality work at reasonable prices. They respond immediately when called. They are punctual, professional, knowledgeable, and personable.

They did previous work too. They secured a ceiling fan in the living room because it did not have the right support and they placed the support in there. They also put two overhead lights in the hallway. They also fixed the lamp in the driveway and the back of the house. We also had an old electrical lawn equipment and they also replaced that. They are friendly and on time. They are also very helpful that when you need something they will get it for you. They will also clean up on their way.

Very friendly and courteous. Found a bad GFI in kitchen but also located one in bathroom that had tripped causing other outlets on the same circuit to fail. Had them replace an outside outlet and also the GFI in kitchen.

They did the job and the price was reasonable for the time it took, and even though there was a snafu with their presentation of the receipt (I brought them in to satisfy my insurance company, and they noted more, VERY expensive issues which my company will likely force me to also fix before I have the funds available; huge pain in the butt) I understand where they were coming from with it. However, I want to make people aware that they're hiring a bigoted company before they have the misfortune, as I did, of letting them start the job and then being subject to some kind of uncomfortable and negative comment about 'the gays.' I make it a point not to patronize companies who are vocally anti-LGBT in any regard, so I felt pretty sick about writing a check to these guys. But if they want to express their personal values to paying customers, that's fine; I can express my views here now, and with my checkbook in the future. And if you're also anti-LGBT, then hey, you know you're in 'good' company when you hire them. Also received some unsolicited advice about checking my street for s**-offenders because I'm 'a single girl.' Just really unprofessional; you're electricians, not my parents. :/

They do excellent work. They come right away and do the work. It is a husband and wife team and I like using their service.

Nina called the night before to verify the appointment. She and Jim appeared around the time they indicated, introduced themselves and my husband showed them the box and surge protector. The installation went as planned. My husband stayed with them the whole time in order to answer any questions.

All went well. Our community requires prior approval for any external changes so the process took longer then we anticipated. Choice was very professional, gather the info for me to submit, and did Rey professional timely job.

I'm so glad I used this company. They went above and beyond when they checked this older home for any other electrical issues it might have. It turns out the elecrical panel needs replaced. If the owner chooses to have it done, we will definatley be using Choice. My company works with rentals and if we need an electrician ever again, Choice will be my choice. One last comment. This company rates A++ in customer service, punctuality, quality, details and the thing we all want to know....PRICE!!

It went well. Asked for an estimate for some outside work we want done and will be contacting them soon for that work.

I contacted Nina by email and received a very quick response. Though their schedule was very tight they were able to fit me in even earlier than they had predicted. Nina and Jim are friendly, responsive, professional, knowledgeable, punctual, do excellent work at a reasonable price, and leave everything clean when work is complete. I was extremely pleased with their work and very glad that I called them. This is the first time I've used them but will definitely call them again the next time I need electrical work done!

We are very pleased, and that is probably who will go with. We have not talked to them in awhile because we have to get the kitchen part done, so, the electrical parts be done. Our house was built in ‘66, so, we have to have some upgrades done to come up with the code. They know that we want to go with them as far as doing our electrical; we just have not signed a contract.

I’ve used them a couple of times and I plan to use them again when I need it. They come and work well. They leave with everything cleaned up. They are just lovely people.

They came out because some of the electricity in my house was not working. I live in an older home and the electric panel (including breakers) and meter were outdated. I called at about 11:00 that morning and they were there by early afternoon to diagnose and begin repairs. I ended up needing a new box and meter. Also I asked them for an estimate for new wiring for my hot water heater and they rewired that as well. They were very prompt, dependable, safe, and reasonable. I would definitely recommend Choice Electrical Service.

I called Choice Electrical Friday afternoon and left a message. Since it was late afternoon on Friday, I didn't expect a call back until Monday, but they responded a short time later. I was out but they left a message. They called again Saturday and I was home so we scheduled an appointment for Monday between 9am and 10...they called ahead and arrived promptly at 9:00. The electrician quickly discovered the problem and replaced the timer. We also mentioned that we were having air conditioner problems and he offered to check it out. He found that the air conditioner's circuit breakers were mislabeled "pool" and were inadvertently turned off. He took care of it for no extra charge. Everyone at Choice Electrical was very friendly, professional and courteous. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to friends.

It was very good. I had to have a couple of outlets installed; they took a look and gave me a quick estimate. We talked about it and thought that it was just going to be too much to do, so we did something else instead. They got the work quick right then and there and did it; they were in and out. It was a husband and wife team. They were very pleasant, nice, very personable, honest and fair. With regard to the price, I didn’t look anywhere else, they came and I thought that it was reasonable. I thought that it was a fair price.

They arrived on time and did a great job in a timely manner.

I called them for a quote on some more major things, and mentioned the light fixture as the catalyst for the call. They came promptly for a quote and came back the next day for the light fixture. They were very good about cleanup before/during and after the job. The light works great and I feel much more secure having had the work done by such professionals. I am going to hire them to do the "big" work since they did such a good job on this one!

Nina and Jim are super friendly and very very professional. Jim explained everything in very easy to understand terms that even folks with no knowledge of electrical work could understand. They are a husband and wife team and they did a terrific job completing the work required exactly as estimated and precisely on the day they said they would do it. Jim pointed out a few items of interest with my homes electrical system that i may need to address in the future and there is no doubt in my mind that Choice Electric will be who i call when ever i need more electrical work done at my home. I highly recommend them.

They are a great, great company. They come out and do their work. They are just nice people. It is a couple. They have reasonable rates but all electricians are high. I have highly recommended them to other friends and companies. I trust them.
