Accurate Doors and Shutters

Keith was able to show up the same day that we called, and knew exactly what our problem was with our garage door. We had a broken spring and needed to replace both of them. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, and had our door opening and closing better than before in no time at all. Highly recommend this company. Thanks again!

Perfect. They introduced us to another way to hold the window shutters open that stands up better to the barrier island environment, and lubricated and cleaned up the shutters all around the house.

The rep came out to our home, about 10 minutes late with no heads-up call. He showed us his products, which were of good quality. We spoke about a week later as I had a question and asked to see another product. He said he had to see about borrowing the item from a friendly competitor and never got back to me.

Once again, Franz Hyatt was up to the task. I had used him last year to install a screen in front of my garage door with fantastic results. Now we decieded to install accordions to replace the corrugated panels that came with the house. We're not getting any younger and don't want to be lugging steel panels around. From estimate to the final cleanup, Franz is top-notch. This price might seem a little high, but a few things to note. First, we have 2, 106" wide windows in front of the house which are bigger than normal. Second we wanted to enclose the entire lanai in rather than individual windows and sliders. Also we wanted to recess the bottom track into the concrete deck. This is labor intense process as it took 3 hours just to cut the concrete for the recessed track, but Franz explained all of this at the time of the estimate and told us of the extra cost. It was our decision to accept the added cost and it was worth it to us. It turned out beautiful. I would highly reccomend Accurate Group and Franz Hyatt to anyone needing his scope of services.

Had to wait a while for the door to be delivered but everything went well once it got here. Service was excellent and we are very pleased with the results. The price was the lowest in the area. The old door and frame had to be cut out of the concrete and the new had to be put in place and then firmly sealed into the wall. We were very pleased with the results and will most certainly use the Accurate Froups again when the need arises.

I needed special attention to the design that would allow for drainage of the sliding glass door tracks. The condominium floor is level with the patio deck which can allow for water intrusion during heavy rain storms. (Note: The building codes were later revised to require a step-down to the patio deck.) The shutter provider's design was using backplate on the shutter guide track to reduce splash under the closed shutters. This height has a drawback since the back plate can be a tripping hazard. So, the lower guide track was installed in a manner so the complete track can be removed except for about 8 inches at each end which provides for the storage of the collapsed shutter sections. The major length of the tracks can be removed and stored as need be. On initial installation, it is important that all dust/debris be removed from the screw holes/recesses that will secure the shutter track to the patio deck. I estimate that a track section can be removed or replaced in well less than 15 minutes. The tool required will be a screw driver, preferably a power screwdriver, with a #3 Phillips head. After removing the track, the same large-head screws will be used to closeout the holes to prevent dirt, etc., from entering. The screw head thickness is about 1/8" high. I found the owner, Franz, as an affable person. He is willing to work with you and provide you with a top notch installation.

We needed to change the position of one of our locks after it had already been installed, and they were extremely understanding and made the change for us with no problem. They did a beautiful job; we are very pleased.

total disaster! Countless problems, and I had to hire someone else to fix the mess. It was a long time ago, and they may have reformed, but I will never use this company again.

The installation went without a hitch. We haven't had a chance to try out the storm panels yet (fortunately).

When I told them I wanted to find out about the back windows and shutters, they were very professional. They came out and took measurements and came back with the quote.

The man cleaned and recenterd the electric eye and checked all the equipment for the garage door.

They responded immediately to measure for the installation, and provided a quote the very next day. Their quote was competitive with another company, but the other company didn't also do garage doors so we selected Accurate Group. Franz came back after the contract was signed to go over the proposed system, and made a couple changes we requested. The work was within a month or so of signing the contract.

The arrived on time. Performed the work quickly and the entire area was cleaned before they left.

They did an excellent job. They did what they said they would do. They did everything in a timely manner. The employees cleaned up after themselves. Financially the whole job was reasonable.

Our garage door had to be replaced after a tenant smashed into it with thier car. Accurate Group ordered the new door and installed it in less the two weeks. (The door had to be made and shipped here.) The did an excellent job.

I spent about $2100 for the garage door. My wife and I have run into it three times. So they came right out and fixed it. It was about $400 to fix the screen and we haven?t hit it for at least a year now. They replaced the whole screen. They took off the screen that was torn and they got a brand new screen to put it back on. They have been out three times since they installed it to repair the screen. My experience with them was great. My garage door faces east and I have got glass doors at the back which faces west. So, I get nice wind when I open that, put the screen down on the garage and open the door in the laundry room. We would use their services in the future too.

Fern was very helpful. She went out of her way to get us a new door quickly and it was installed within 72 hours of my first phone call! The installer was very professional and courteous. He cleaned up after himself.
