These guys did a phenomenal job. I had a huge oak tree that needed to be removed with a significant amount of heavy lumber high in the tree. The tree was also directly over my garage. I was fearful of damage to both the garage and the concrete driveway. The guys did an incredible job lowering each limb down including each piece of the massive trunk. It was actually very impressive how they operated. We got a fair price and they were fantastic. Would definitely use them again.

Tracy was great -showed up for the quote the following morning. His quote beat all other quotes by far and actually covered a larger scope of work. He showed up the following Monday as planned. I figured on a 2 day job but his large crew was done by mid afternoon. The job was done to perfection and my palms never looked this good. There was no evidence they were ever there - they cleaned up everything. They were doing such a great job I asked Tracy to look at mom's house 2 miles away - he went right over and said they could go there after my house - they did and worked into the evening. She was also highly impressed.

Tracy visited the house on May 3rd and called me with a quote for removal of two trees, stump grinding and debris removal plus the trimming of 3 Palm trees. I checked with 4 other Angie's List providers and Tracy's quote and service seemed the most comprehensive and price competitive. I called Tracy back to schedule the service and he was able to book my preferred day. The crew showed up in force. Tracy was onsite, plus several workers and all the equipment that was needed. A bobcat, huge debris trailer and a stump grinder that made quick work of the two trees and stumps. The team took very good care of all the landscaping around the threes, moving and relocating where necessary. Not a single item was damaged!! With two large trees coming down it created a lot of debris. The team removed all the debris and cleaned up the yard, driveway, roof, and landscaping. It was if if the trees never existed. Great job and will definitely call Tracy and team back for any future work

Great job by Tracy Hewett & Sons! I made only one call to them (which they answered immediately), they came over the next day to provide an estimate and were here to do the job as scheduled. Hard to find a company that not only responds, but shows up promptly, has a friendly staff, does a fantastic and professional job all at a fair price. Tracy Hewett & Sons are all that and more. Highly recommend this family owned and operated business. I will be sure to use them for all of my landscape and trimming needs in the future.

Tracy and his family did a wonderful job. There were delays due to permitting, but Tracy work with us during the delays. We had overhangs of two buildings, but the team did a great job of rigging so that there were no impacts. They completely cleaned up everything and hauled all the debris away.

Tracy and his crew did a wonderful job. I called the company on Tuesday, we met on Wednesday and the job was completed on Friday. That is what I call service. I had 2 trees removed from my back yard and a palm tree trimmed in my front yard. I was not at home while the work was being done and Tracy called to keep me informed about what was going on. All of the debris was hauled away and the yard looks better than ever. If you need any tree work done, this is the company to call. I have already handed out several of his business cards and will happily use his services again.

Tracy Hewett & Sons provided outstanding service. They were a professional team that worked together with a purpose. The chain saw master was fast, safety conscious, and efficient in dismantling our oak tree to the ground in a matter of less than two hours. The ground crew hauled the debris to the curb and loaded it all on their huge truck trailer. Tracy oversaw every aspect of the job including the stump grinding. The crew finished trimming the palms and dismantling a diseased palm in less that an hour. Cleanup was fast. No trace of debris was left in the yard.

They worked fast and beautifully! But the magic happened when the well drillers came unexpectedly and suddenly the Hewett crew kicked in voluntarily, not only clearing shrubs for the drillers but finishing the trimming I had to stop which included raking and even fixing a broken tool I had abandoned. Hard to say who was more impressed, me or the well guys.

I don't throw compliments around if they are not warranted, but this company is the best. Tracy and his family crew, are super professional, and good at what they do. Climbing a tree is obviously dangerous, so I knew I could not hire just anybody. These guys know what they are doing. I told Tracy, if I ever need any tree work done, I am calling him, period. I am not a Florida native, and like to meet people, I can work with, and Tracy Hewett and Sons are those people, when it comes to trees. Many thanks.

This is the second year my husband and I have had Tracy Hewett and Son's trim our 5 palms. They always do such a wonderful job! They always answer the phone when I call, and they are prompt getting me scheduled. Both years no one has been home when the service was performed, coming home to beautifully trimmed trees with no other evidence they were ever here is amazing! Top notch work for sure!

Tracy Hewett & Sons were wonderful from the start. I initially contacted them before Christmas to get an estimate. They came as soon as they could since they were at another job in a different area. They valued my business even before they got the job. Their estimate was the best between two other companies and he was very detailed in the process that it would take to remove the trees. When I finally called them to do the job, they came the next day and removed all the trees, grinded stumps, and removed the debris within the day. It was lightning quick and professional. I would highly recommend them for big jobs like tree removal and small ones such as trimming. They are honest and hard working.

Excellent! I am very happy with the work they did in my yard. They removed two tall oak trees, ground one stump until nothing was left of it, and trimmed my 3 palms. They were very prompt and showed up when they were scheduled to be there. Tracy and his family were such a pleasure to work with and their price was VERY fair. My trees hung over my tile roof and some of my neighbors roof so they had to go. They climbed the trees, maneuvered around the limbs with ropes and brought my trees down with precision and never touched our houses. I should mention that there was also a 6 ft hedge they had to work around and left no damage to that either. They work so efficiently together it was amazing to watch. It was refreshing to see how much this crew/family loved their job and how hard they all worked to leave no trace that they had been here that day. They were very nice and even cut a few small pieces of the trees for me to keep as I had planted these trees when my children were toddlers and had some sentimental meaning. They also trimmed my tall palms as well as trimmed and shaped my Canary Date palm beautifully. They were in and out in a few hours. I highly recommend hiring Tracy Hewitt and will absolutely use them for any future needs.

They were working for my neighbor and I asked if they could take 2 trees down for me. Because they were here the price was great and the job was perfect. I am not sure if it would have been as reasonable if they would not have been here but they were great and I would hire them again!

They came out the day we called them to provide a detailed estimate with a price that was very fair for the work being done. They came out 4 days later and performed the work flawlessly. The quality of work was excellent and despite trimming 10+ oaks and 6 palms along with cutting back a Banyan that had grown out of control, they didn’t leave a trace they had been here. The crew worked together very well and was incredibly efficient and professional. They are a family business that functions very professionally. We will use them any time we have tree work and have started recommending them to neighbors that have been admiring the work.

Wow! They were great. I live about 40 miles from their office. I called and the owner answered and had no problem with the distance. He was here the next day, told me my options, and gave me a quote on the spot. That was two days ago. They came today a little after 10am and were done by noon. They removed 4 sections of my fencing to get to the palms, cut down the trees and ground the trunks, reinstalled my fence and re-concreted the posts. They also cut down a rotting palm, and trimmed my crepe myrtle. It was obvious they were professional and extremely efficient. All six of them knew exactly what tasks needed to be done. They cleaned up as they went- there never was a mess. They took all the debris and tree cuttings. They even took my weeds I was picking while I watched them! Every one of them was polite, friendly, and willing to do whatever was needed. I would recommend them to anyone looking for someone to deal with tree issues. True professionals!!!!!

Went great. They were hard working, on time and very professional. I would recommend them to anyone. Cleaned up after themselves and left the yard neater than when they started. Call them. You will not be disappointed.

It’s rare for me to write reviews and recommend companies today, but I am totally compelled to do so for Tracey Hewett and his family’s Tree Service. Don’t let his monster trucks and good ‘ol boy nature alarm you; Tracey and his Sons are seasoned professionals that can handle any size tree job. They removed 15 hazardous, major (2’+ diameter) trees that were overhanging a house, utility lines and an aluminum shed. Other contractors balked at the job and most were contingent on getting a bucket truck next to each tree (not possible). Tracey’s family climbed, cut and roped down every tree and ground the stumps in 3 days with not even a ding in the little aluminum storage building. They were impressive to watch. They are truly a family affair. We have a hard time getting our family civilly together for Thanksgiving day; Tracey, his wife, sons, grandson, in-laws all work together everyday in an amazing and orchestrated manner to provide a highly professional tree service. Price was competitive. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Tracey Hewett & Sons (Family).

After reading the reviews for Tracy Hewett & Sons on Angie’s List and noticing they could be contacted seven days a week, I decided to attempt to contact them the same day which was a Sunday to see if they would actually answer the phone. To my surprise, Jan, one of the owners answered her cell phone immediately. She and her husband, Tracy, the other owner, came out to my house the next day (Monday) for an estimate to trim several palm trees and oak trees. They applied the 10% Angie’s List discount in their written estimate, which seem to be reasonable and fair. Tracy and 4 other staff showed up around 9 the next morning (Tuesday) to perform the work. Tracy showed the workers what needed to be done and they started trimming immediately. Tracy left for other estimates and the 4 workers spent around 7 hours, with a lunch break, trimming about 27 trees on my property. They cleaned up the grounds and hauled away all the cuttings. Before the workers departed, Jan & Tracy returned and inspected the job that had been performed. Everything looked great and I look forward to hiring them next year for seasonal tree trimming.

Fabulous!!! Tracy and his family were punctual polite and respectful. They removed 2 large trees that were close to my house and pool. They did a great job and cleaned up leaving no wood or leaves behind. They were reasonably priced. I will use them again.

Tracy Hewitt & Sons are excellent! They are very professional and wonderful. They had my Mango tree down and everything cleaned and taken away in no time. Looked like nothing had happened in my yard and everything was back to normal. Will be hiring again when my Oak needs trimmed again. Would highly recommend to anyone needing tree service!!

I called and he came out the next morning. When he saw the job, he rescheduled another job and had people on my job within the hour. It took all day and they did a super job.

Mr. Hewitt was more than responsive, absolutely knowledgeable. Provided a quote on the spot... No Hem Hawing! I agreed, and was told a crew would be out here 9:00AM They were here 8:55AM ready to work... Not one or two, but a whole crew. This was a 60 ft Oak with branches j2 ft thick hanging over my neighbors house... Ready to fall... Everything was done safely, and with gentle care to both my house and my neighbors. No incidents! They cleaned up as they went along, and when finished rakes and blew everything as if their job was to landscape and manicure my property. They cut and stacked firewood where I asked, and left large pieces that I could use for wood work projects. Some 54 " in diameter. We asked them to leave a stump about 4 feet tall, and they obliged. We plan on using it as a table or work platform. They told us if we changed our mind, they would return to grind the stump. I can't say enough... They mad my decision to get rid of my old friend easy. I will be calling them again, and telling all my friends

Very prompt response. Mr. Hewett himself arrived about an hour after we called on a Monday morning. He examined the trees and determined that no service is needed now, except a little trimming of small branches, which we can handle ourselves. He recommended waiting another two years before doing any significant shaping. He's not able to give a cost estimate at this point, but says the cost will be "not much." There was no charge for his service call! Overall, an excellent result. It's clear that Mr. Hewett knows what he's talking about, is taking the job seriously and doesn't want all our money. Based on the many recommendations on Angies' List, we'll definitely call Tracy Hewett & Sons in two years.
