Wow!! Family service with respect and professionalism. Came in early, stayed late and cleaned up... not leaving branches, limbs scattered about. Thank you for doing my mom's property... our family will not hesitate to call Tracy Hewett & Sons again... and most of all spread the word!

Received a call back for a free estimate almost immediately, he was able to squeeze our job in within a few days. He and his wife are super friendly and really easy to work with. The workers are efficient and do a great job, clean up was great-almost like they were never there! Will absolutely hire again-they have been a pleasure to work with!

I wrote an earlier review on Sept. 12 for the trimming of 3 large & 1 small Oak & 4 palm trees + extensive yard clean-up. Thanks to the expert job they did, I had minimal tree debris from Hurricane Matthew & the trees look amazing post-storm!

Excellent. Immediate concern was large branches over house and number of trees in non-accessible areas by lift truck. Tracy's crew are tree climbers and were able to rope all large sections safely. They trimmed all tree to the upper canopy and the oaks look amazing. Also cleared vines, ant farms, and moss as they worked. In some cases trees and limbs that other companies had recommended removing Tracy recommended we save, which we were glad as they were healthy and the work was unnecessary. Cleared a number of overgrown ground areas. Removed one full tree that was in bad shape. Great job cleaning up and good people to have onsite, easy to work with. As a follow up, made it through Charles with no damage to house except for one small branch hitting a gutter. Well worth the investment, and good timing! So glad we called them!

Tracey and his crew were great, prompt and professional. They did a superior job of lifting the canopies so I no longer had branches touching my roof. They also aerated the trees so the wind would pass though and the sun was able to hit the area's under the trees where my grass was struggling to grow. Fortunately I had called them to do this work only about 3 weeks before Matthew visited us. My home is only about 20 miles west of Cape Canaveral, and the only branches and limbs that landed in my yard were from the neighbors trees, not mine. They did an excellent job of moving anything in harms way, replacing it where they found it, cleaning up and hauling off the branches and leaves and even replaced several chains I had hanging from one of my oaks where I hang several orchids and Christmas cactus.

Tracy and crew all showed up right on time and got right to work. We live in a small suburban neighborhood, and they were very careful in removing the 3 pines - carefully cutting down small pieces at a time and guiding them away from the house. They were all very professional and cleaned up the lawn very well after the work was complete. Price was very competitive. Would definitely hire again!

Made an appointment and was told Tracy would be here at 11:00 A.M. to give an estimate for removal of 1 tree down and 1 tree damaged from Hurricane Matthew. Ninety minutes past the appointment time I received a call from Jan, the wife. When I mentioned the time of appointment she said "they were running late", did I still want an estimate? From the tone of voice it seemed 'they' were not that concerned or interested in coming out today I explained I had another company coming between 1-3 P.M., and if he wanted to come it was up to him as I needed 3 estimates and I would get someone else if he didn't want to give one. At that point the transaction when downhill fast. The wife didn't respond in a professional manner, did not ask questions or give proper answers to mine. Because of this conversation I was prompted to hang up! I will not be using this service, nor will I recommend them for estimates or anything else. When I checked with Sunbiz.org the company is inactive and when I checked with Florida Workers Compensation Verification the company was not found. Which means (to me) they are probably not insured and I could be sued and held responsible for any injuries to workers on my property.

Tracy Hewett and Sons Tree Service was recommended to me by another tree service and that should tell you a lot about them. Tracy and wife Jan came the day after I called them. Tracy checked out the condition of the trees, their location in the back yard and to surrounding homes, sheds and fences. After explaining the complete process, quoting a price to which I agreed, Jan wrote up the proposal and the job was scheduled for Friday of the following week. They came two days early, with all the rain we were having, Tracy was worried about all the water these old oaks were soaking up and the added weight. It was informative and fascinating to watch this crew of five take down these large trees. From the free-climber positioning and making the cuts, to the guys on the ground handling the ropes, all branches were dropped to the same area. I have to admit that I was a little worried about the limbs over my house and shed and the one over my neighbor's but I had no reason to be. This crew knew what they were doing and they did it extremely well. The Bobcat was used to remove debris from backyard to truck parked on street. All this accomplished in one day before the rain storms hit. The stump grinder came on Friday, Tracy and Sons came back Tuesday, removed some of the grindings and smoothed out the area where the trees once stood. Great Service! We met with Tracy on each of the projects. We discussed price, when the job would start, and estimated length of the project. Tracy is a pleasant, down the earth, and knowledgeable individual;and all of our discussions went quite well. His prices seemed fair, and in each case we asked him to proceed. All the projects went extremely well. The crews arrived promptly as scheduled. The work was well organized and systematically accomplished. We were quite impressed as to how the crew diligently and effectively performed the tree removals and trimmings. With regard to the trees that were trimmed, they looked terrific and exactly as we had requested each to be. At the end of the projects, all debris was removed and the property cleaned up as agreed. One additional special note: the entire crew, as well as Tracy, that came out to our property were very polite and extremely courteous. For my wife and me the projects became a joy and not a burden!

Outstanding!! All work was accomplished in less than two days ant debris removal took two truckloads. When trimming trees, corrections were made to previous trimming mistakes to ensure the health of these magnificent oaks. All workers were respectful, friendly, knowledgeable and the site was cleaned up nicely at the end of the day!

It went perfectly. It was prompt, efficient and thoroughly cleaned up after the work.

They did an outstanding job. I was out of town when they did the work, but my neighbors were impressed with how professional and polite the crew was. All debris was properly removed, and they left my lot in excellent shape. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs tree service.

Mr. Hewett came out promptly the same day, gave me a quote and time frame the work could be scheduled. Ended up coming sooner, which worked out well for me. They were very conscientious, and meticulous, grooming every tree and cleaning all the debris generated. And all my trees look awesome!

Very well! Tracey Set an appointment to come and view the yard. I had trees in front and back that needed trimming and thinning out. Tracy came to my home at set time. Was very knowledgable on the type of trees in my yard. Gave me an estimate and came back the next day with his crew. They thoroughly cleaned the yard hauled away all of the cut branches. From this point on Tracy Hewitt is the only tree service that I will use for my yard. Very professional.

I first used Tracy Hewett and Son's in 2005 and 2006 and they did an incredibly good job, with everything, each time. Over the years I put off major lawn/ tree issues. Now 10 yrs. later I desperately needed to have my extremely large oaks thinned and trimmed, as well as other large bushes, before the height of hurricane season. I was so happy when I found them again since it is so hard to find really good and reliable service. Tracy and Jan (the whole family is incredible) came out last Sunday, 07/31/16 gave me a detailed written estimate and we schedule for 08/06/2016. They showed up early which was nice. As usual they did an amazing job on everything!! Tracy, Jan and the crew were very polite, efficient and very knowledgeable. Also, another great thing is I didn't have to babysit them. They did the work, cleaned up all the debris, cleared off my roof and removed all remaining branches etc. from the yard. When they left all you could see were my beautiful trees and large shrubs; no trash or debris...the list is long. As a single female it is so nice to have work done right not only the first time but even better than you could hope for (so tired of providers for multiple services trying to take advantage). Having a type A personality I am picky. So, honestly, do not look any further for a tree service provider. They are just "simply the best" !

Great, easy to work with and very responsive. Worked quickly and thoroughly and removed all debris. Contracted out the stump removal and he came soon after to complete the job. I picked him due to excellent customer reviews and picked the right person.

Tracy and his crew, all of whom are family members, did an excellent job. The crew was hard-working, efficient, polite and professional. I felt safe having them on our property. The clean-up was exemplary. We will use them again.

Unfortunately I got pressed into using the "family recommendation", but Tracy was very professional and returned my calls quickly and provided a quick estimate. He even said he may not be the "cheapest", but with his years of experience, hiring someone cheaper may not always be the best option, as sometimes you get what you pay for. Since I was railroaded into using someone else, I told him I would put a good review for him for honesty, responsiveness, and professionalism. Thanks !!

My entire experience with Hewett Tree Service was a pleasure. My concern regarding the outcome of the big oak clean up was unfounded. They are artisans in enhancing the beauty of nature. The team methodically accomplished everything scheduled, along with one Palm trim that somehow escaped notice for the estimate. They did I it anyway and didn't charge me extra. All the debris was carried off, leaving the yard pristine. I cannot convey how much more expansive my yard felt after the Hewett team was done. It was like a yoga moment of peace and refreshing breath. Hire them!;

The tree to be removed was dead and rotted. It's trunk was soft as a sponge and it had mushrooms growing out of it. The tree was a in a very difficult area to get to in our back yard due to our landscaping and the slope of our lot. I had several people come to see if they could remove it and no one felt qualified until Tracy came along. Tracy looked at the tree and said he could take care of it no problem. He even fit me into his busy schedule and the job was completed the next day. I was relieved to learn his prices were reasonable. I had some mirrors (from a previous owner) that were in the way and they cheerfully moved them out of danger. Tracey and his boys (sons and grandsons) made short work of the job. I had to take a phone call and when I went to check on them, they were already done. They even insisted on blowing the leaves in the back yard that had been accumulating. This was above and beyond in my opinion. My back yard looks better than when they arrived. I will definitely use Tracy again should the need arise.

They missed the first appointment but did apologize. The owner was very professional and down to earth. They were able to work on the same day as the appraisal and did a great job. The cleaned up all the debris during the work and were quick and efficient.

Cut down 2 dead pine trees and cut up another one that had fallen. Carried everything away and left the area clean. He courteous and preformed in a timely manner. I plan on using him again.

Tracy and his sons are awesome! Not only are the prompt, professional, and friendly. They ensured when they were completed (all this was accomplished in one day which shocked me in a good way) the entire area was clean and clear of all debris. My husband and I both met them and both had very positive experiences with them all. USE THESE FOLKS!

They responded quickly with quote. They responded quicker on performance. They were at my house the next day and did a great job. They cleaned up every branch they cut down. They remained professional as the neighboring HOA questioned them.

Everything went very well. Return of my telephone call was prompt, when initially contacted. Came around 8 A.M. when he said he would be there by 8:30 A.M., on the day he said he would be there. Had excellent equipment and workers and everything was handled in a professional manner. His son came the following week and also did a professional job. We were pleased with this service and would definitely work with them again.
