It was the worst company ever! Brian is the most unprofessional person! His customer service is so poor! They pretty much took me for $125.00. They were suppose to move two of my sprinklers and never did. Said they just capped them, that I did not need them. When my bushes died, Brian refused to come out and look at them. He refused to fix them. He plain refused to help me, call me, etc. I am a single mother who lost all that money and had to pay someone else to fix them. Don't trust them!

My home foundation was washing away and I needed all the beds around my house shored up with dirt and rock. I am a senior woman and knew this was a big job, but knew I couldn't do it myself. This company assured me they could do the job for my budget (taken from my life savings). They put in a water drainage system that had problems from the beginning, but eventually fixed it (I think... it hasn't rained yet to find out). Then, the owners did not properly estimate the amount of materials to complete the job with dirt, rock and sod, and kept coming back for more money. I finally said no more and they left me with the job that was not complete. My new walkway is washing away and the stones are moving around just from the sprinkler (can't wait to see what happens when it actually rains). The backyard bed is washing away around the steps. The edging is kinked, and the pipes they said they would bury in stone are left exposed. The sod, they sold me (extra) to cover up the ruts from their machine used to move dirt and rock is dying and not rooting, even though I'm watering properly. The landscape edging is sticking up and not buried properly in some places. They didn't bother to grade or fix the ruts, except throw in a couple pieces of sod after I questioned if they were going to fix it. My lawn is high low ... and looks awful!!!!!!!!!!!!! And, the foundation, which was the main reason for doing this project, is still not shored up because they ran out of rock and they wanted more money for more! Access to the site was challenging because the lot is small and it is lakeside. To support to my pool, they removed old railroad tie retaining walls and brought in many, many truckloads of soil, regraded and put down sod. They installed a french drain around the pool with multiple drains and a 4’ walkway with light river rock and pavers around the pool enclosure. Work was performed by courteous and capable employees, started on time and completed within the timeframe estimated. The existing sprinkler system and sod was repaired. Best of all, I no longer have drainage issues.

The workers were polite, timely and even respectful of my babies sleep schedule. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted when I started this project. Both Brian and Ryan coordinated, consulted and collaborated impeccably. They superseded my expectation. Most importantly, knowing I have an 11 mo old baby, they went the extra mile to research and ensure that every plant in my yard is safe for my baby should she eat it. Their extra layer of care for my family is priceless. This was surely an expensive project, but the cliche is true. You pay for what you get. The week they worked, I closed the blinds to my backyard and when I opened them on finishing day my jaw dropped in amazement. Townscapes was worth every dollar!
