Description of Work: We thought they gave excellent service. We were very happy with Kenny who came out. They did everything we wanted them to do in terms of checking the roof and giving us a realistic expectation how long the roof would last before it would need replaced. While he did the inspection he also took care of a few nails that popped up.

The experience was fine; they came punctually and within 3 days I had an estimate. They were here the day following my original inquiry and they did not promise something they could not do.

 + -1 moreThey were very professional, with hard working, polite workers who showed up on time, told us when they were leaving, and when they would be there the next day; also told us where to park in order to get out easily. They covered the porch furniture and pushed it away from the work area. They removed all debris and used a magnet wand to pick up nails. The estimate was a little higher than the final price that they charged us, which was really a pleasant surprise.
Description of Work: New shingle roof, repairing rotten wood and leaks around chimney. They also installed a vent to take hot air out of the attic, with a solar panel to run the exhaust fan. We also used stainless steel nails, and the roof shingle was a mid grade one, with a good warrenty.

 + -1 moreThe repair only took two guys a few hours. They showed up at the time they specified and worked until the job was done. During the estimate process we were told that it appeared there were two layers of shingles on our roof (not the first time we've been told this). The cost would be more if that was the case. Once the guys arrived and starting the removal they informed us there was only one layer so the original price was honored.
Description of Work: We had a leak along the valley of the roof during the rainy season. We knew the roof had to get repaired quickly to minimize damage to the kitchen ceiling. We were given a referral for The Roof Doctor Inc by a co-worker of my husband. They came out to give an estimate the morning after we called them and got us on their schedule a day or two later, even though they were already fully booked.

I called Roof Doctor, they were polite and responsive on the phone, told me when someone would be out to take a look and they called before they came. Paul is awesome, looked at my roof and determined it wasn't a leak but a problem with how my gutter was attached to my roof. Said a fix was no problem and that I had another good 2-3 years on my current roof. He came out when he said he would and made the fix for less than $300. So refreshing to deal with a company that isn't out for the short buck, he could have told me the problem was anything and I would never have known. Honesty and professionalism. I will definately be calling them back when I do need a new roof. Thanks Roof Doctor!

 + -1 moreThey were prompt and gave us a good deal. They said they were going to be there to work on a particular date and they came on schedule and worked. They got the job done in a very short time. They cleaned up afterward and left. I have had different roofs done on different houses in my lifetime and this guy was incredible. He was awesome. We had got a lot of estimates and his price was very good. They did an excellent job. I would definitely use them again if necessary and I would absolutely recommend them.

 + -1 moreMy mother used Paul Kessler ("The Roof Doctor") to replace the roof of her main house and also a flat roof over the porch. He was prompt, professional and patient. Paul and his crew cleaned up after themselves after the job. He also helped my mother, a widow, fill out all the paperwork for the applicable insurance discount for a new roof, which she really appreciated. I live 90 minutes away, so knowing that she had such a good experience with Paul Kessler on something she really needed done gave me some good piece of mind. After Paul installed the roof, she also hired him to install a set of collapsible stairs in the garage for storage. Again, he did a great job. I would recommend Paul and so would my mother!
Description of Work: Replacement roof installation, including removal of the old roof on main house and flat roof over portch; disposal of debris; repair of faisca and repair of leaks in the flat roof; installation of new vents on the main roof; and installation of a new roof on both the main house and over the porch. Installation of a collapsible staircase in the garage to allow attic access.

 + -1 moreFind out all you can about rebates, attic fans, etc.so you don't need to keep asking questions and tweaking the contract before you sign. Paul was very patient. You want to can make sure everything with other contractors is arranged - removal of old insulation and adding new, removing and replacing solar panels- because everything requires timely coordination. Fortunately Paul works well with others so we do not anticipate any issues as far as he is concerned.
Description of Work: We had a new shingle roof put on by the Rood Doctor when it was owned by Sal Vitale. The workmanship was excellent and when we called five years later to have the flat roof and two skylights replaced and we have never had a problem, even with two hurricanes and TS Fay. Paul K. now owns the company and we have been doing business with him ever since. He was the one who did a lot of the work under Sal Vitale. We have contracted with him to replace our roof again next month. Although there was a lot of telephone tag -we always have a lot of questions- Paul is easy to work with, very honest, and extremely knowledgeable. Also he doesn't use day labor laborers which gives us -and our neighbors-additional confidence in the stability and reliability of his company. The price was/is commensurate with the materials and labor.
