They have a wonderful indoor/outdoor showroom of all types of granite for your home. The people there are very knowledgeable of their granite and where it should be used. I went to their showroom quite a few times before I made my final choice and was always greeted by a smile and a welcome to enter their showroom. They delivered the granite as scheduled to the fabricator and all went well.

Stone and Surface does not finish and install countertops. They are one of the main suppliers of stone products in Brevard. Any company you go to for granite or natural stone will probably be buying from them. For the retail customer, you will not get pricing; you will get that from the fabricator/installer. But........the experience at Stone and Surface is great. This is a really large area with every imaginable stone you could imagine. They are organized with the more inexpensive slabs in the front, moderate to high price on the side and really exoctic pieces in a warehouse. The customer service, professionalism are outstanding. Everyone that works here are just the nicest people. It doesn't matter how many times you come back, how many questions you have, they are there with a smile and great attitude. Making a selection from their huge inventory can get a bit daunting and overwhelming; they're there to help you through the process or they just leave you alone and let you wander around til your heart's content. The process is pretty straight forward. Each time you visit, you do have to sign in. This is so they know who's wandering around this working area and to make sure everyone is safe. (There are large slabs of granite/stone being moved around and you do have to watch what's going on). When you sign in, you get a note pad to write down what interests you. Before you leave, just drop off the list and they send the pricing to your fabricator. Your fabricator will get that info the same day and provide you the price. This is not a retail operation for slabs. They do retail a really good selection of stone tile and accessories, along with sealers. These items are in the airconditioned showroom. A visit to Stone and Surface is really enjoyable and sure gets the creative juices flowing. Rather than going to the big box home stores with a few choices, you can be wowed by what's really available. Remember, if you use an installer/fabricator that is purchasing your stone from Stone and Surface you can actually select the specific slab. Every slab is different and there may be that unique vein or color in one stone. Once purchased, it's held and transported for you. I've bought granite from so many suppliers like this in other states. Stone and Surface has the best customer service I have ever experienced. The plus is, they have a great selection at really good prices. If you don't like the price you're getting from your fabricator/installer, go to another one. It's easy to shop installed price once you've made a selection at Stone and Design. In the end, I got quotes from 4 fabricators for the exact same stone and price varied by $25 a square foot. The price of the granite slab hadn't changed; it's the fabricating cost. It sure pays to shop the installed price and it's really helpful to start at Stone and Design to start the process. You're going to end up there anyway, so why not start where the product is coming from and have a good time doing it........

Stone and Surface Designers Inc is a good company. they made my experience a good one. they were easy to work with. i would go back to them in the future.
