The team came by the next day, found the problem (faulty installation of pipe that became damaged and came apart). They quickly replaced the pipe properly and turned my water back on. They left the broken pipe for me to take to the HOA for possible reimbursement. Very friendly, quick, and professional. Highly recommended! Thanks!

They were good otherwise I wouldn't use them. Anything that goes wrong with plumbing, I call them immediately and they get out here quick and take good care of it. They are very easy to work with. They are my go to for plumbing. Typically one person comes out to do the work. It depends on what's needed. It took about a hour to isolate the problem and fix it.

Ended up that the leak wasn't a plumbing issue. It was a dishwasher issue.

I registered on Angie's List and searched for a plumber. I contacted 3 companies through Angie's List & SCP was the first to reply. By days. The second company didn't respond for several days. The third didn't respond at all. SCP replied and came out the same day for an estimate. Then had it fixed within an hour. Same day. They were great! Very pleased.

We had previously called Space Coast about six months ago for a second opinion. Another plumber had told us that our toilet was leaking because our septic field needed replacing. He refused to even look at the toilet until we got the septic system replaced. He referred us to a septic company. This sounded very suspicious, so we called Space Coast, and Jake came out and looked at the system and the toilet. He said the problem was merely a seal on the toilet. He repaired it, and we had no further problems. Today we had a pinhole leak in a pipe totally unrelated to our previous problem. Again, we called Space Coast. Jake responded immediately and quickly fixed the pipe. I am extremely happy with the work that Jake has done for us. He is prompt and professional. He explains the problem and the solution in very easy -to- understand terms. He sticks to his quoted price for the jobs. I would highly recommend him for any plumbing issues.

We were in a bit of a bind when we discovered our third, copper pipe slab leak just before Christmas. It was on the hot side after the water heater. We were lucky in that we could cut off the hot water heater supply line to minimize the leakage so we could shower and do dishes each night, which bought us the time needed to get estimates and schedule the job. We obtained 3 estimates. Space Coast Plumbing ended up being the middle in terms of cost. The estimate was thorough?the owner went up in the attic and looked everything over carefully before giving a price. He also stuck to the prices he told us when the job was done. They came when they said they would. They started one day during the week of Christmas, cutting out the drywall to prepare for the actual re-pipe. They came the following week to do the re-pipe. In all it took between 3 and 4 days, which was what they told us it would take, and this was pretty typical based on the estimates we got. They took reasonable steps to contain the mess that is inherent with this type of work, and cleaned up after themselves each day. They hauled away all debris. They coordinated things so my family was not left without running water overnight, and set things up so the city inspection could be done with minimal disruption to our daily life, which was also greatly appreciated. While the walls were opened up, we had them replace both shower valves. It was also time to retire the water heater, so we upgraded to a 50 gallon unit. They installed Uponor AquaPEX, which they were trained and certified to install, and had the proper (specialized) tools. They took rolls of this pipe into the attic so they could make long runs without any joints between the 2 ends of the house. Fewer joints = lower risk of something going wrong (and less pressure drop). They insulated the hot and cold lines in the attic. At this writing, there is a 25 year warranty (10 years damage warranty). Space Coast Plumbing also gives a 1 year warranty on their workmanship. Jake, the owner, said this was the same pipe he used to re-pipe his own house, and it?s what he recommends to his customers. Space Coast Plumbing saw that we had an older style of water pipe going to our refrigerator (that was prone to leaking) and replaced that as part of the job. In general, they seemed to try to use the best in terms of parts and materials. It really felt like they were doing the work as if it was their own home they were re-piping. Overall we found Space Coast Plumbing very responsive, flexible, and cooperative, which was greatly appreciated given our situation and the holiday timing. I should mention that the drywall repair folks were able to re-use much of the drywall Space Coast Plumbing cut out. In other words, when Space Coast Plumbing cut out the drywall, they intentionally did it in a way that made it quicker/easier to repair later. To be sure, the dry wall repair was not part of the Space Coast Plumbing re-pipe. We had to hire a separate company for that (which Space Coast Plumbing was very clear about up front). This is typical for this type of plumbing job. For reference, the drywall work (including re-painting) cost around $1000 (don?t forget this piece of the job if you have to re-pipe your home). This review was written around 2 weeks after they finished the re-pipe. We?ve not seen any leaks, water pressure is good, and so far, everything seems pretty much back to normal. The 50 gallon water heater hasn?t run out of hot water yet, which is a plus over that older, 40 gallon unit we used to have.

The root from our neighbor's tree grew up and busted our water pipe, water was gushing into the street and had to be shut off to the house. Jake came out the day we called, removed the offending root, repaired the pipe and restored the water flow. He was very friendly and professional - a great job!

The water shut off valve broke to my house causing me to have no water. Space coast plumbing quickly came out for an emergency repair on a Sunday morning. Before coming out they discussed the issues and provided an estimate over the phone. Space Coast Plumbing showed up on time and went to work immediately. I was very happy with the quick turn around and open dialog of everything that was done. I'm consider myself very lucky to having chosen Space Coast plumbing for my weekend emergency repair.

We really like the plumber. My husband does the plumbing problems. The plumber's name is Jacob Stiffler. The kinds of things he has done for us, if we had emergencies, like if we are stuck with something that we can't fix ourselves, he can take care of that. He has also installed fixtures like when we get new faucets and that kind of thing we get him to do it. We would trust him with anything. If there is something that makes us uncomfortable we call him and we would recommend him to our friend. It is just that we have been lucky and in recent memory we haven't needed him for an emergency. Most of the last couple of visits has been to put in new faucets or something like that. That's exactly the best way to use a plumber. I would give him all 'A's across the board. If we needed a plumber we would call him first.

Jake is a very personable and honest individual. He quickly pointed out that the problem I thought it was, was not correct and I would be better off getting the people that normally take care of those type of problems. If and when I ever have a real plumbing problem I would hire him in a second and I told him so. He is on my list as trusted providers.

Excellent response and results. Pipe was leaking inside cement block wall. No interior wetness, but could hear the leak and the outside wall was wet. Jake responded in good time (this was not an emergency situation) and was able to pinpoint the location of the leaking pipe before breaking into the wall. Amazing! He was spot on! Had to remove some excess concrete to provide proper working space, then removed pipe section (two leaks in that section) and replace it. Downtime for lack of water was minimal. Impact to family was hardly felt at all. Since we have an older home, we could have more problems in the future. If so, I will not hesitate to use Space Coast Plumbing to address our needs.

Space Coast Plumbing came out to fix a "wobbly toilet" and was gracious in answering a multitude of plumbing questions we had with our newly purchased home. -- Jake (the owner) charged a very fair price and I would be eager to call on him for any future plumbing issues.

Jake and his helper spent all day on their first visit getting the accumulated solidified gunk out of 100 feet of drain line. That was when he noted the "foreign object" in the pipe and tried to use the jetter to push it along to an access point. That failed because it got jammed at a junction. He planned to come back another day and (1) remove pool deck pavers above the junction, (2) jackhammer the concrete slab below the pavers, (3) dig down to the pipe, (4) cut the pipe and retrieve the gasket, and (5) close everything up, fill the hole, and re-install the pavers--which would have cost several hundred dollars. Instead, he thought about it and decided to try the fish hook approach, which was successful in only half an hour! Also, I had planned to replace the ancient kitchen faucet, which was stiff with age, at a cost of a few hundred dollars. Jake thought it ought to be enough just to replace the cartridge, which I bought at Lowes for $20. He had a cartridge puller and helped me install the new cartridge with no extra charge--it works perfectly now! If you have a serious or recurring drain problem, I highly recommend Space Coast Plumbing.

This is the second time I have utilized the services of Space Coast Plumbing, and I will not hesitate to use them again. Jake is a very personable individual, and goes about his business in a professional and efficient manner. He very quickly removed and replaced my disposal unit, and insured that it was working properly before leaving. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing plumbing repairs.

I purchased a new washer & dryer but found when we went to hook them up that the faucets were corroded and in very bad shape. They were ready to fall out of the wall. I called Space Coast, explained the problem and was told someone would call me back shortly. That took about 1/2 hr. Jake (the owner) explained what he thought he would have to do and gave me an estimate. He wasn't able to come out until the following Monday due to prior committments but he arrived on time, got right to work and was done within a couple of hours. He explained everything that had to be done and charged me exactly what he estimated. He even replaced the receptacle that the faucets sit in at no extra charge. I would definitely use Jake and Space Coast Plumbing for any plumbing repairs/installations I might need in the future.
