See 1st. message:
Description of Work: Room To Go sold us a livingroom set. The livingroom tables (3x) with lamps did well but the leather loveseat and couch lost the support in the seating. I can not sit on the loveseat or the couch without a pillow under my bottom because seat sinks and cause my lower back to hurt. Note: All items looks very nice but very poor quality; therefore buying items at Rooms To Go was a bad deal over all!!! Thank You, Mrs. Yvette Hawl\kins

Where to begin. We chose a set for our living room, only to be told upon ordering that it was discontinued and that we would have to take a scratched coffee table from the floor or we had to choose other set. We agreed to take the scratch and dented table. We got it home and realized that it was much to large for our living room. We called and asked if we could bring it back and reorder other furniture instead that was smaller. After some run around we were told yes. We brought the coffee table back. My mom was meeting me in the store, which the sales guy we had dealt with didn't know. He didn't know she was with us. He saw us pull up and proceeded to talk trash about us, saying "oh my God, here they come with the d*** table. I can't believe they're back!" He didn't know that a family member was standing right next to hi, listening. We complained to the manager, but the other salesmen laughed and gave us nasty looks as we walked around choosing different furniture to change our order. We got a different order placed. A week later it came, missing the hardware needed to put it together, with two entertainment pillars that had doors stained differently so they didn't match. The coffee tale was broken in the box (the wood was split in two pieces on one side). We had to wait for new pieces to be sent to us. Our lamp was backordered and took about a month to get. The delivery guys said they couldn't take the pieces of the entertainment system with them, we had to store the, in our garage until the new ones came and that they would take away the bad ones then. To add insult to injury, during the ordering process the salesman omitted mentioning the delivery charge of $200. $200 to deliver a bunch of broken furniture!

I am happy with what I got. Everything was perfect. I wanted a comfortable couch that I could take a nap on if I wanted to. I am on a budget, and they had the perfect items.
Description of Work: I purchased a sectional couch and a chair and they delivered them to my home.

We noticed that the rug was pearling, which all new rugs do, so we waited a few weeks to see whether vacuuming would remove the fuzz from the rug. It continued to fuzz, and it was so bad that my new vacuum cleaner stopped up! I called Rooms to Go and explained the problem. They sent out a person to examine the rug at a time we had arranged, and that person arrived promptly. In the meantime, a professional adjuster had been out to the house (we had just moved) about another issue. He looked at the rug and assured me that there was a manufacturing error in the way the rug was woven, and he pointed it out to me on the reverse side of the rug. The Rooms to Go's inspector arrived when I was delayed at an appointment, so only my husband was home, and he did not know of the adjuster's comments about the rug. The Rooms to Go person glanced at the rug, declared it to be in normal condition, and saw no reason to replace it. When I got home and heard this, I called customer service at Rooms to Go, and they reiterated that the rug would not be replaced. I told them about the adjuster, his evaluation and provided his name (with his permission). They then agreed to replace the rug, which they did the next week. Hopefully this one will be better than the last one. Had an independent adjuster not just happened to examine the rug, I doubt Rooms to Go would have replaced it. While I like their furniture, the associates, and the prices, I will not purchase another rug there.
Description of Work: We purchased a rug to go under our living room coffee table. It was delivered punctually with our furniture (which we really like). The sales associate was knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. The furniture at Rooms to Go was delivered together with an area rug we ordered. We had an issue with this rug.
