Description of Work: I've used Ranger Air and Heat for multiple repairs at my home and rental property during the last few years. They also just replaced the compressor at my home. Jerry, the owner, is very responsive and I've always been happy with their work. I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: My home warranty company scheduled for them to come out. The indicated the freon was leaking out of the air handler. Took my service trade call fee and amount for 2 lbs of freon. Told him if there is a leak, I don't want if filled up just to have to pay for more after the air handler (trying to get it replaced) Never followed back up with the warranty company. 3 weeks later they had to send out another company and got approved to replaced the entire system. Not sure what happened but they dropped off the face of the earth and took our money.

+ -1 moreI would highly;y recommend Ranger Air to anyone who is looking for an honest AC guy. He could have easily tried to sell me a new unit like the other guys did, but instead worked within the budget we had and completed all work on time.VERY FRIENDLY TOO!
Description of Work: Install a refurbished AC system that we had purchased, still offered a warranty on the workmanship.

+ -1 moreA company came out and did an inspection of my A/C and informed me the unit should be replaced. They quoted me $3500 to repair with 1 yr warranty or $5200 for replacement. I they contact a couple of other companies and received quotes. I then contacted Jerry at Ranger Air. He came out the day I contacted him and I had a quote from him latter that evening. I did some research on him and the products he was selling. I had some questions about his qualification and questions about the products. He not only answerred them immediately he upgrade the equipment to a better model for the same price he quoted due to questions about the warranty. Jerry arrived on time on the date to install. He took his time and answered any questions I had. The install was completed and he cleaned up afterwards. A few weeks after the install I received a thank you card from him and his wife with a gift card to a local food chain. It was very much appriciated. I am currently Active Duty Military and I needed to rent my house out. I now has peace of mind that if anything goes wrong with my A/C while it is rented out that I know Jerry will take care of it. Jerry is also retired from the military, so if you like supporting military small businesses--Ranger Air and Heat is one you won't regret supporting. Thank you Jerry!
