+ -1 moreIt was a free service. It has been very good. I have got a variable speed pump and they gave me a 3 year warranty on it, parts and labor, so on and so forth. I have been using them since 2009. Generally speaking, because most of my equipment is set up outside, I don't even have to be home. They come in, do the work, fix everything up and they go. They are very professional, friendly and very responsive in terms of answering any questions I might have.
Description of Work: Today I had my water tested. I buy all my pool supplies there and I have had them do repair work on my pool.

Description of Work: we have them clean the pool I think they are reasonably priced and they come when expected, and do a good job one guy that comes does better job then the outher but we are pleased with there work, had trouble with payment at first with credit card but they fixed it. yes I would recommend them for pool service/

Description of Work: On a Saturday after draining the waste water from excess rain, I could not shut down the drain valve. I turned the pool system off and called Pinch a penny, told them of the problem, On Monday Keith came out and corrected the problem and since the system was under warranty there was no charge. Great response and professional service.

+ -1 moreTheir service calls have always been made when they have scheduled them with me, I have had no No-Shows with them, when the job has taken more time than anticipated they spend the extra time and got it done before leaving, didn't leave me half complete like some service companies and drag it out two or three days. When they serviced my DE filter and found the DE grid head was cracking and unrepairable they made multiple trips for parts but got the job done over a full day, even though they had just scheduled me for a routine 2 hour job.
Description of Work: Pinch-A-Penny has done multiple jobs for me, from servicing my DE filter system, replacing the DE Grid, replacing pool lights, to replacing pool pumps (warranty repair and non-warranty). Brad, the owner, and his daughter who runs the store with him, are unfailingly polite, professional and responsive. I have never had a bad experience with their service or their products that I have purchased. I highly recommend this Pinch-A-Penny franchise in West Melbourne. They have Sunday hours which is a real plus for me as I often can't make it in with a water sample on a Saturday.
