Paul Davis Restoration of the Space Coast

I contacted Paul Davis both to dry out the area and get begin restoration of my kitchen after a leaky dishwasher lead to the discovery of mold in one of my cabinets. The guys responsible for getting the area dried out were quick, friendly and responsive and I have no complaints about that group. The restoration group however completely dropped the ball, and I've now been waiting over a week to get a revised estimate after I was forced to scope the work down to something affordable.

They used an Ozone machine in my condo to remove some strange odor in the condo I purchased. Before they did the treatment with the Ozone machine, I asked Nicole if it works, she said "No-one ever complained before". So I hired them. 10 days after the treatment, the odor came back. When I asked for my $300 back, the owner said that he felt that they did what I hired them for. On contrary, they were hired because they implied that the Ozone machine treatment works. I do not recommend this provider, they cannot be trusted.

It was fantastic! Chris put together an estimate for me. Rick was the project supervisor. Stephanie was my contact at the home office. The work needed to be done at a condominium complex. They worked with the condominium association property management to get the specifications needed to do the work. They did an excellent job, very conscientious, very clean, very nice to work with. They kept me appraised of the status of the work each step of the way. They are a fantastic company with fantastic employees. I definitely plan to use them if I ever need more repairs (would be great if I don't, but great to know there's a company I can trust if needed).

ONCE THEY STARTED IT WAS FINISHED IN A COUPLE OF DAYS, THEY WORKED SATURDAY TO FINISH THE ROOF AS IT WAS SUPPOSED TO RAIN ALL WEEKEND - WHICH IT DID. GREAT JOB!

We were full of high hopes as the reviews for this provider are good on Angie's List. They promptly contacted us once we had made the initial enquiry whether they would be interested in the project in early January 2015. The appraiser was polite on the phone and made an appointment for a couple of days later. On the day in question he was running a little late and had the professionalism to call and apologize, making sure that we knew that he was on his way. He spent a good deal of time with my husband at the house going over what was required, taking measurements, etc. He said that we would have an estimate in the next 4 to 5 days. It is now February 28 and we have heard nothing. I texted the appraiser twice and didn't receive a reply to either text. I phoned the office and the office got the appraiser to phone me back - he said that they were waiting for approval from USAA and couldn't give us a price until they had it. USAA is not, and never has been involved in this transaction and I have no idea what they're talking about. Extremely disappointing.

Great team work!

Showed up on time. Very professional gave me written estimate and was very fair in price I have gotten other bids and I'm glad I used Paul Davis Restoration. Very pleased of the work done and in a timely manor. I highly recommend this company.

They are supposed to collapse, crush and fill the pool. They had to peel back the fence and replace it. The access to my yard was through my neighbors concrete drive way so they are supposed to repair damage created. They were excellent and my wife was pleased. The weather has made the project hard to complete. Their responsiveness is a bit slow sometimes.

They hire out to a few contractors; all did a great job, with the slight exception of the tile guy who left a tiny patch of tile just loosely done. They came and re-did it when notified.

I wil keep it short. I have called him since for help and plan on calling Dave for some things we have to have done in the future.

I was handled well and the people who did the different jobs, painters ,plumbersand cabbinet makers were pleasant and worked well in our home.

I contacted Phil Welsh with Paul Davis Rand R (PDRR) to re-paint the exterior of my stucco-over-block house. He proved knowledgable and professional and offered some considerations I had missed - such as the threat from small cracks in stucco. From the get-go, this was a very good experience. PDRR offered choices of high-quality paints from which we chose a double coat of American-made Sherwin Willimams SuperPaint. The three-painter crew needed only modest space to get near the house walls which meant favored plants we'd let grow too large and too close remained undamaged. They were professional and courteous painters; managed to work around the rain threats; thorough with the pressure wash; paid close attention to filling cracks and spaces; provided very good detail work to cut in the corners and small spaces; rolled the larger areas; mixed some paint a bit darker for the trim; and left our yard reasonably clean. My better half very much likes the final look and felt confident dealing with the painters. We may possibly have saved a few hundred dollars by using a general service, or cheap paint, but we are confident that we got our money's worth and that we got an attractive, high-quality, long-lasting result.

They billed my insurance a whole bunch of money. My insurance company told me that they were charging them for things that they didn't do. They were getting people to come in that weren't qualified. I had them to replace a sink and redo some plumbing but they were doing it wrong. I asked the owner to provide their license but they weren't able to provide me with any documentation. I have asked the owner to find someone that was a license plumber to to do the job correctly. I have also asked them to put my vanity mirror in and they weren't able to do that. When the painters came out they only did one coat of paint and I had to call the owner again to get this addressed. It became a habit of always calling the owner to redo all the jobs that I have requested to do. I would not recommend this company anyone.
