Excellent! No serious problems at all. The job was started ahead of scheduled time which worked out better for all. All issues were quickly and efficiently and addressed. All workers were courteous, knowledgeable, efficient and on time every day. They cleaned up any debris daily before they ended the days work. A factor that drove me to use this company is that his workers are his permanent employees, he uses no day labor employees.The owner, Patrick, was at the job every day and ensured the work was done properly. Price was not the lowest of the three bids I had but was reasonable. During the bid process, Pat was quick to understand my concerns and was helpful in determining the work that was required. He explained all aspects of the work he would be doing and the requirements of the applicable building code, permits and inspections. He also provided information for roof inspection for the insurance company in order for me to get a break on insurance due to the new roofing and compliance with the new stricter codes. I would use this contractor again without hesitation and recommend him to anyone that needs a new roof.

They are very polite and skillful roofers and they kept the communications going very well. We had additional woodwork that needed replaced and they went " above and beyond" to do a professional and very complete job! They also suggested and installed two solar powered attic fans and they are fantastic! Our attic so much cooler which I'm sure will reflect on our electricity usage and increase the lifespan of our new roof They are completely silent and automated. They always covered all of the shrubs and each evening everything was picked up, put away, and inspection for loose nails was conducted. The job was finished as scheduled, price was as proposed, and the owner was always available to answer any questions. We are very happy with the job performed by Patrick roofing and with the look of our new roof. I highly recommend Patrick Roofing They were very professional company with honest polite employees and a very reasonable price as well!

This review comes up because I am moving and looking for a roofer for my new house. I would LOVE to use Patrick Roofing again, but it's out of their area. I received several quotes from companies in 2008 after we let the roof go a little longer than it should. We had some water damage and just a crappy looking, algae-covered mess. Where Pat Horn stood out from the other 3 companies I met with was he brought this massive book and dropped it off before we met. I had a chance to read 20+ years of customer letters (pre-hurricane, post-hurricane and everything in between) and it really gave me comfort to read what others said about Pat and his crew (not much different than Angie's List, actually). It was a brilliant piece of marketing on Pat's part and I've told others about it more than a few times. As for my house, it was a clean, painless job. The crew was professional and fun to have around for a few days--those guys have worked together for a long time, which is another plus. They cleaned up after themselves frequently. Pat was there, doing flashing or other work a lot of times, or he was instantly available on the phone if I had a question. We had such good results--results that look good 5 years later, too--that I've adamantly referred him to two other friends who were looking for a roofer. I told them to look around, then call Patrick Roofing and, if they didn't select them I would be shocked. They did and all are happy. Service-wise, I've had to call Patrick once since then for what I thought (forgive me, Pat) was a roof leak. Pat Horn was on my roof same day running it down and confirmed it was a problem with the chimney structure, NOT his roof. It wasn't work that he did, but he knew a guy, and within days it was fixed and the problem was solved. Pat knows a lot of guys and I've used a couple of his referrals and they worked really well. Helps a lot with trades/skills you don't use often and don't know who to trust. Pricewise, I recall all 4 quotes were within 5-8% of each other, all legit companies, and Patrick was in the middle. Whatever the minimal extra cost was, we just felt comfortable with Patrick Roofing and were willing to trade a dinner or two out so that we could feel sure that we would be taken care of. We did, we were and I'm really glad to report that it worked out. I cannot recommend Patrick Roofing enough.

Patrick is booked out through September, but gave me a good quote. He told me that there isn't anything really pressing or dangerous. However, he told me that if anything happens between now and when the roof goes on, he will make sure to work it into the project. He also mentioned that he would guarantee his service in case of a bad storm. It is comforting to know he will be there for me. He has been very responsive during the contract process. I also find it very refreshing that he explained each manufacturer warranty so that I could select the best one for me. He is going to make sure that he installs the roof to the manufacturer specs so that the warranty will be in full effect. Finally, I liked that he didn't see me too hard.

Fantastic service. Patrick went beyond merely replacing our roof. He stopped by before the job one night because a huge storm was coming and put a temporary patch to prevent further damage. He even came AFTER the job was done 3 times to make sure the roof was working properly. Great service!

They were just great! I always get at least three people to give me estimates on big jobs. He was not the cheapest, but he brought a book with recommendations and pictures of his work. I have recommended him to anyone I saw that should have needed a roof done. They were so professional. What surprised me was that afterwards, they used a magnetic rake tool to gather up all of the tacks that may have fallen off the roof during the job I thought that was very, very special and impressed me.

Tear off, base completed in one day. New shingles & clean up completed next day. Fast professional service.

Patrick took the time to fully explain the warranty and answer a number of initial as well as follow on questions. He estimated when the work would begin as well as how long it would take and his crew were very close to the estimate. The price was competitive with other estimates we received. The roof looks great. All of the necessary paperwork and instructions were provided in order to submit our wind mitigation to the insurance company. For us, the estimated savings will be $1200 per year. While working on the roof, they identified a plugged dryer vent that was a major fire hazard. Patrick suggested an upgraded vent that allows for future cleaning that we had installed. Our roof required 9 sheets of plywood for repairs, resulting in an approximate $600 additional fee (for reference). They cleaned up after each days work, and were very professional.

Stop your search. Just call Patrick if you want a perfect roof. He may cost a little more, but he is worth every penney. My new roof is beautiful and without a blemish. The crew was friendly and respectful and cleaned up their mess at the end of each day. Their attention to detail and doing the job correctly is second to none. If you want new gutters along with your new roof, Patrick will direct you to the right man. If you want a wind mitigation inspection at the end of the job, Patrick will direct you to the right man. His crew is not paid by the job, so there is no rush to get one job done and get on to the next. Patrick's main concern is quality of workmanship and providing the customer a final product that they can feel good about. I can sleep peacefully at night knowing I have Patrick.s roof over my head.

I came to FL for Thanksgiving & was on site when the work was actually performed. They made it seamless and easy for me to coordinate & did a great job.

The roof repair was done on time, on cost, and in fact they did a little extra work that went beyond the call of duty. also replaced skylights as part of the job. Excellent roof - two years now, no issues.

Owner is very professional and detailed. Performed estimate and explained the process. Pulled necessary permits and completed the job in the time discussed. On repair was needed after the roof was complete. Called on Saturday about repair and someone was there to fix it on Monday.

Excellent company who were efficient, professional and cleaned up after themselves. They were a bit pricey but the extra cost was well worth it because of the quality of their work.

I was pleased with him. He did a very good job. One of the skylights was leaking and it was a Sunday. I called him and he was on the cruise but he called up his people and they were out here that morning. They resolved the problem right then and there. He stands by his work. Their price was around the ballpark.

I requested a quote on our home. The response to my request was very good, however the quote was too high and I elected to go with another firm.

Patrick, the owner, came by and was a very nice guy. His estimate was pretty good but it was almost $2,000 more than the company I selected. He very carefully explained to me about roofing because I know nothing about it. He was really, really nice and I liked him a lot. He did my neighbor's roof and I could see out my window that they did a nice professional job. He was very knowledgeable. If his price would have been a little closer to the other one, I would have used them because I liked the work they did next door. If I had to do another roof I would go back to the company I chose because of the price.
