Michael was very understanding and helpful with all our backyard flooding. He came the same day to discuss and review our problem. The next day he came and gave us a temporary solution until he could give us a permanent solution. He promised the permanent solution within three weeks and he did what he said. We are very happy with his work

Mike was great. Thoroughly explained all plantings, lighting and irrigation. Took away old plants and pavers. Very attentive to detail and everything turned out awesome. Walked me through everthing when he was finished. Great work !! Would highly recommend Mike !!!

My interdiction 9/09 with Mike (Owner of New Vision) started of great we went over patio design & plantings with 50% down. During this time I'm working out of town 11/03 Mike and his crew start landscape. I arrive home 11/04 and text mike asking what happen to the approved brick paver 6x6 I had requested. Mike switched to a 16x16 paver from Lowes without my approval patio wasn't installed 1/2inch below the door threshold as i had requested nor was the patio sloped 2 percent all ADA compliant. I called Mike out on the paver and the install he said it would be corrected. Three months later the patio hasn't been corrected. Plants not spaced correctly, wood mulch wasn't completed per contract. Annual Plants are dead in the front planting bed.

They built a wall and filled with dirt. They took out the sidewalk and installed pavers. They installed and all of that was really good, I would give them straight A's. They had a planner that drew it all up and the work was excellent. It was the maintenance plan after that I wouldn't rate so high. It was very expensive, it was like 200 a quarter. They did a great, gorgeous job. I would use them again for that kind of work but for continuing maintenance I wouldn't.

They were very responsive. We called last friday and they installed it today (monday). They were on time and very efficient. They cleaned up after themselves and, like I said above, you can't tell the replaced gras from the rest of the lawn.

I received (as a retirement gift) a magnolia tree gift certificate from my co-workers at the beginning of July. I called about getting it installed the week after. I was told they were waiting for a "good shipment" of trees to come in so I had a fresh tree. Found out later this person went on vacation for a week hence the wait for a "fresh tree". Tree was finally delivered the 3rd week in July.
The installer told me to keep it watered a lot for the first month or so then it should take off on it's own. That week and the next we received no rain so we watered it twice a day morning and night. Then we had rains pretty heavy so we backed off that week.
One flower bloomed the first week, then it started looking a little sad but we figured it was struggling to take hold. Finally after it started turning brown and looking completely dead I decided to call Molly at the office. This was on Thursday, August 29th. She asked me to take pictures and send them to her email which I did. I heard nothing so the next day I called to ask if she had received them. She said she had and agreed it was dead. She was going to share the photos with the person who installed it and get his take on it. That was the last I heard until I called again on Tuesday 9/3. (I knew with the holiday they wouldn't be available.)
Molly said the installer would be in at noon that day and she would talk to him. No return calls, nothing until I called AGAIN on Thursday 9/5. Molly told me this same person was out all week and was supposed to be in that day at noon???? Conflicting stories ALL the time. I must mention at this point that Molly let me know that they had caller ID because one time when I called she said Hello Mrs. B..... . So every time I didn't get a return call ( which was more than I have mentioned here) I know they saw it was me and wouldn't answer. I did receive a call from Molly on a Thursday telling me the same installer would be out the next day to remove the tree, not to stay home because she couldn't say when it would be, but that he would test the soil and see if there is a reason why the tree didn't take and asking if maybe I would take a substitute if it was determined the magnolia wouldn't do well in that spot. I said yes. Obviously, he never showed up and nothing was done. I did not get angry until after several "no return" calls, I left a message telling them I wanted an answer and was willing to call the Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau to report them. I had had it! I finally let my co-workers know about this sometime in August and they kept calling to check on it. I have now left it to them to settle. After all I DID NOT put out the money, they did. Hopefully, they might come to a solution.

The project was developed and built based upon a coordinated specification between New Visions and I. We knew kind of what we wanted but could not visualize the project. Michael is a visionary and put a plan together and built it to be more beautiful that we have even dreamed it could be. Mollie, their administrator, keep us informed with the progress, scope and any changes we were incurring thereto and coordinated with the other contractor on the project. They are completely professional, great to work with and build a quality project. They may not be the least expensive option in town but they earn every penny by the quality and value they bring to a project. I will use this company again and give them my highest recommendation.

Although the landscaping and lighting done by New Visions Nursery was initially beautiful, I was very dissatisfied with the service and quality of work.
I initially contacted them during the summer of 2011 and was put in contact with a landscaping consultant. He came out to the property and we discussed various landscaping designs. I continually stressed simple and low maintenance. He said that he would take these ideas back to the office and generte a computer aided-design of the proposed landscaping.
Instead when he called to say that the design was ready and I went to the office, he produced a hand sketch that wasn't even to scale. Apparently, there was a problem with the computer program.
I again stressed low maintenance and some changes were made. I signed the proposal in July. I was told that work would begin in two weeks. At the end of July when I called, I was told that I wasn't even on the schedule. Actual work did not being until the middle of August.
When I came home after the work had started plants had been removed that weren't supposed to be. I was assured that this would be remedied. I met with the employee two or three times during the work; each time I was assured that addditional plants would be added to "beef up" the appearance, more mulch would be put down, etc., to cover the landscape fabric and the low voltage wires. Those things never did happen. Additionally, while digging the crew cut the wires to the lamppost and driveway lights. I had to have an electrician come and repair those. Finally, the low votage transformer box was supposed to be mounted at the side of the house. Instead, it was installed right on the front wall. I was told that the plants would eventually grow and cover it. I painted it to match the house.
In September 2011 we began the landscape lighting. The same landscape designer again came out and I discussed what I wanted. I signed that proposal at the end of September. I was told tht it would take about 5 days for the lights to arrive and work would begin in two weeks. Once again when I called I learned that I wasn't on the schedule. Actual work did not begin until November. I paid for the completed job on November 18th.
Although we had discussed the layout of the lights, at the time of installation and talking with the installers, they knew nothing about how the lights were to go in. I had to correct what they were doing. We again discussed the lack of mulch and that several of the plants had died. Those would be replaced and more mulch added. It didn't happen. And, on one occasion after waiting the landscape designer to arrive so that I could discuss something with him, I came outside to find him urinating in the bushes.
By January, half of the lights were not working and several plants had died. I was told that the landscaper designer who had done the work was no longer employed by them. They never addressed the plant issue. They did tell me that someone would be out to fix the lights within the week. It took three more calls, a letter to the owner, and four weeks before anyone came out.
It has now been over a year since this work was done. The lights again went out, many of the plants died from poor exposure or watering needs (that were set by the landscapers), and plants still haven't grown to cover the box. I had to contact a different company to fix the lights.
I would not recommend this company.

Don't use! Owner very arrigant once he gets money in hand!!! (took deposit check out to vehicle and deposited it before even leaving driveway). Owner promised that he knew exactly what I wanted to have done and again promised that he would walk the site with Foreman to show him what needed to be done (did not do any of that with foreman). Got to site on time and was doing a good job. But notices they were not doing a step the owner has described to me about how it was to be done. Call office and had office manager get nasty with me and tell me to leave their people alone becuase they know what they are doing. I had also just talked to the site foreman and asked him how things were going. He stated they were almost finished and would have about 1 1/2 hours of work to finish job. Asked about the side fenced yard and he stated that he knew nothing about doing anyting in there. When also informed office manager what foreman said she told me that it was not my job to be instructing them what they needed to be doing. Owner of company had gone out of town and she said she would text him to call me. next day got a call from owner yelling at me about his people knew what they were doing and that I shouldn't be talking to them. He yells that he's tired of people complaining about his people before they finish a job. Just let them finish and then is problems they will come back and fix. Ok I may not be a brain surgeon but if you are having a problem then wouldn't you fix it before you have to tear up the whole yard again???????? Final job was done with all the work requested done. Then getting multiple phone calls that afternoon from manager and owner wanting to get the rest of their money. Owner "we hope your satisfied and we really need to get this settled up quickly". The guys doing the job busted their backs. Would not recomment becuase of Owner and Office Manager's attitudes!!!!!!!! Still don't feel comfortable that I could go back with a complaint and it get fixed.

The owner was very responsive to money but was very unprofessional midway through the job. The materials were poorly laid down, nonleveled, he used a different crew evreyday. I cringe when I see their truck as to how much money was wasted on such a poor job.

The first day workers started to lay the pavers, I realized they were black & orange & not even in the right order & immediately called Michael & left a message. I did this for 3 days with no return call. When I did get a hold of him he told me that he could not drop everything for me & that he had a business to run. On Feb 6 a rep from the paver company & Mike came to our home. I compared the sample to the actual paver installed & proved they'd installed the wrong one. His anger got so out of control that the rep left. 3 weeks later his receptionist asked us to come select a new paver, but only from the selection we'd already looked at & found to be no colors that matched. We already gave him a deposit so we had to settle with a color we'd already said no to. He never checked on the work, but did come to collect his check. He denied that he'd ever said he would correct my landscaping. I was so fearful of his anger that I gave him his check just to have him off our property.

I do not recommend them at all. The price ran over the estimate. Be careful if you use them.
