Clean and showcase ready for a 1 acre property with overgrow.

I'd used MikAm previously to replace my front lawn so I decided to contact them again to redo our front garden. Mike came quickly to view/discuss what we needed then returned in two days to complete the job. As always, he and his crew were quick and efficient....they did a beautiful job.

Mike and crew did a great job!! Price was right. Cleaned out the old, planted the new. We added palm trees and crotons and limestone. He re-set our border and trimmed all my remaining plants and trees. Honest and fair. He gave us the Angie's list discount but I know he gave us more with clean up and removal. Call him!!!!

Very courteous, efficient and timely. Arrived as scheduled, completed the work with excellent care and results. Provided instructions on care of the lawn and trees. Cleaned up when completed and then moved one of the Palm trees a few feet as we weren't that keen on where it was placed s. Mike did not debate with us on it when we said it was OK but we would have preferred that it be over to the right a few feet. He grabbed his guys and shovels and moved it.

Mike and Amy at MikAm Landscaping made a very involved project extremely enjoyable. We needed a majority of our grass replaced, and wanted to remove all the current river rock beds and plants, and have them replaced with treated mulch and all new plants and palm trees. Mike also created a beautiful lava rock and castle rock area surrounding our A/C unit and pool pump. Mike and Amy were completely committed to the project aesthetics and to our happiness with the outcome. We had it seems like a million questions along the way as this was all new to us, and they went above and beyond to answer all of them. The final overall plan Amy sketched up for us was executed perfectly. Their willingness to work with our schedule and time frames along the way was great, as we had other contractors doing house work as well. We are thrilled with our new grass and landscaping and will call on MikAm again in the future for any other landscaping or planting projects.

Mike was incredibly responsive and provided a wealth of information and direction on our landscaping part of this project. He arrived as promised and he and his crew are knowlegable, courteous, efficient and cleaned the entire area when completed. They removed all debris and did a bit of some small removeals of some plants that were not in the original quote. The lawn look amaziing as he did not just put sod down he layed it as if it was as a puzzle that shuold look like a finshed painting when he was done. He talked to us in great length about the tree removal and the new planting and did as he promised. When he was done, my wife wanted one of the new tree'smoved over about 3 feet and he did nto blink an eye, He got the crew and moved it without any issue at all. Great to work with and very helpful.

Plants in flower beds are doing well & thriving, he planted Blue daises & Lantana thru out. Sod in back side yard is beginning to establish with very little brown spots. front yard not so good not sure if it has to do with being in the shade most of the time or the soil. Overall Mike did as he had estimated.

I called?MikAm and they came the next day to provide pricing for shrubbery/tree trimming. After unexpected scheduling issues on the agreed date/time,?they still came back the following day, provided price and completed the work, same day. I'm very pleased with the work completed by Mike and his crew. They arrived early, we discussed what needed to be done and they knocked it out. They provided electronic invoice which provided ability to transmit to home owner for reimbursement purposes. Nice, smart?folks to deal with. Amy and Mike are very professional and I'll definitely use them again.

I called Mike to inquire about replacing a dead palm tree. He came by the same day and looked over all our landscaping. He pointed out another tree that was diseased and gave us the option of trying to heal it, or just replace it. We opted to replace it with a nicer tree instead. Two days later he showed up with two beautiful looking palm tree. He placed them and let my wife decide where it looked best. They planted them and told me how to care for them. He even went the extra mile and used some of the leftover topsoil to fill some holes around the rear fence that was left from the previous owners dog and then trimmed an existing palm that had a frawn leaning on the house.

I found MikAm Landscaping on Angie's List and sent a message that I required a quote for resodding. Amy called back and she & Mike came to my house the next day. What I appreciated most about Mike was his honesty and integrity. He told me that he would not agree to do the job unless he could find good quality Bahia grass to use. He said if he could not find sod that he was satisfied with, he would not do the job. I was immediately sold because I knew this was a man who was professional and took pride in his work. Thankfully, Amy called me the next day (Saturday) to let me know that they had found sod that they like and the job was scheduled. The day of the job was COLD - 38 degrees - but Mike and his team arrived early, worked hard and finished in good time. I now have a beautiful front lawn. :) I would definitely use them again for any other landscaping project.

When I called, Mike returned my call within an hour. He came the same day & gave me an estimate. He returned on Monday(as promised) with 2 assistants & completed the job by early afternoon. I was happy; more importantly, my wife was happy.

Mike & his crew were punctual, fast, very personable, & very professional. They hauled away all the trimmings & old mulch & weeds. Our yard looks stunning now! We will be customers for life with this company!! Thumbs up for Mike & his awesome crew!!!

We had a terrible problem with weeds in our front yard flower beds and landscaping. It was obvious that the previous weed barrier that was under the rock was not working AT ALL. I was pulling weeds all the time and just wasting time. By the next weekend they were back. My husband and I were tired of looking at our unsightly front yard and decided to do something. My husband attempted to do a small area himself and soon realized it was way too much work for the time he could dedicate. With a very active 11 month old, neither of us have the time to spend on the yard like we use to so we decided to call someone to help. Mike and his crew did a great job. He said "we make it look nice for you" a million times and he did just that. I called to ask him to come out for an estimate. They came the next morning. He gave me a price by that evening (including Angie's list discount). It was a lot of work. HARD work too. They pulled up the rock by hand and laid it all back after putting down the weed barrier. They planted a nice tree in the front where there was one before that died from mistletoe. They trimmed the big tree in the back yard away from the house. They did not have enough rock on day 1 so came back and laid the rest in the back yard the next day. My yard is not an eyesore anymore. Thank you Mike and friends!!

Mik Am came out and looked at the job that we had. At the time of the visit, he told us that he could do the job. Multiple attempts to contact him have gone without any response.

Prompt and professional. I would recommend them without reservation.

Response was immediate and he came out the next day with two helpers. It took less time than expected and he was very up front with us about how long the repair might last.

They came after being called and scheduled. completed all work requested and cleaned completely.

I am writing this review based on the overall job quality. This is not a reflection of the character of the owners. We believe Mike and Amy are good people. We met with Mike and Amy for close to 1.5 hours on a Sunday to describe what we were thinking and what we wanted done. We have been living in our house for 9 years and have been told by many, including Mike and Amy, that or landscaping is beautiful. We had many hedges that had grown to 5 ft in height and really needed to be shaped. We had other ornamental shrubs and plants that need to be trimmed. We had some opportunistic plants that had grown in areas where we had not planted them and we asked Mike and Amy to remove them. Again we spent 1.5 hours going over every area. Mike and another were at my house the next day performing the inital phases (tree and hedge trimming). Amy was not present while work was being performed. When my wife arrived home she literally broke down in tears. Our landscaping was gone?!?! The 5 ft hedges were cut down to 2 ft. Most of the hedges branches are split and they have no leaves. Many plants we did not want removed were removed. When I got home I reviewed the work. As I was doing that I had two neighbors come by and ask what had happened. I couldnt explain it? I called Mike and he and Amy met us the next day. Mike was very apologetic. He showed character and wanted to do what he could to fix the situation. I appreciated that. But once something is cut down or damaged what can be done? Amy thought that there was miscommunication and they thought we wanted everything cut back. I said these hedges were 5 ft and now they are 2 ft? She said we should have asked for a hand trim?? Ok...not sure anyone else would have known to tell a landscaper that. We told them when we met initally that we wanted them shaped. Mike and Amy replaced some of the damaged hedges at their expense. We had to go out and spend hundreds of more dollars on additional plants to fill in the many gaps we had in our landscaping. Mike planted all of the new plants at his expense because he really felt bad. Mike and Amy are really good people. I just do not believe they are "landscapers" by profession. If you are going to use MikeAM landscaping I would recommend supervising their work to make sure you get what you asked for.

Mikam called me back right away, came an gave me an estimate the same day. I called them back when I was ready to start the work and they were able to come out and start it with in a couple of days. Mike was very pleasant and professional and did an excellent job with all the work. I was very pleased with the whole experience.

The work entailed redoing some old landscaping, adding some new landscaping beds, relocating some plants and adding new ones, and trimming overgrown large brushes/small trees at my son's house. I got an estimate from MikAm Landscaping which I thought was reasonable and I contracted with them to do the work. Mike was able to quickly schedule the work and complete it according to the schedule. During the course of the work, my son and I decided to add some things to the job which Mike did a great job taking care of. They did an excellent job with everything and were very accomodating and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing any type of landscaping work. Jim Rasey

I called for an estimate after checking out the firm on Angie's list. The owner came quickly and the estimate was confirmed by email within a couple of hours after they left. They came at the time we had agreed on. I asked for a small modification and it was done willingly. Helpful employees and fast workers.

Was great to work with had some good ideas.

Mike and Amy came out for the consultation to strip our lawn, lay down new turf/sod, and strip our landscaping by the house and plant new plants. They were thorough and we liked that they didn't seem rushed like other landscapers did. After we decided to use them, Amy offered for me to meet her at the nursery to pick the plants I wanted, which I appreciated and did. Mike and Guy came out and stripped the lawn and landscaping, and after the irrigation men put in our new well and irrigation system, Mike and Guy and one other came and placed the new plants and lay down the new sod which had been cut that morning. From day 1, our lawn has looked beautiful. All our neighbors say it is beautiful too. We discussed moving 2 royal palms at that time, but Mike said it would be better to wait a couple of months. We waited, called and got a quote which was very reasonable, and then Mike and Guy came back and relocated the palms in our yard, including taking the sod from the new location and placing it where the palms used to be. They were very friendly and were a pleasure to work with.

They did a nice job. It took a little longer to schedule. The guy from the company, he was quick. I like the personal touch they give to their work and I will recommend them. Whenever I call them they recognise me and my property. When I told him what I was looking for he actually went out and brought samples and came back with some different options and came back on the same day itself. They were very professional and they gave me a quote.
