I am thrilled with the work Mike and his crew did on my property. My yard looks so neat and manicured . They cleaned up any mess they made while working and left it looking great. I had scheduled the work to be done on a certain day, but because of rain earlier in the week, it threw him off schedule. But since I had taken off time from work to be there, he made an extra effort to be there on that day. That was really appreciated ! Mike is a very pleasant man to work with. As a woman, I never felt like he was talking down to me or as a new homeowner, that he was taking advantage of my inexperience. I would recommend Mike to anyone who needs landscape work done.

He was very prompt in calling me back and was on time for his appointment. I was impressed with the estimate and knowledge given by the provider. I did not have the work done because I decided to have someone do weekly work also.

We've used Mike before and were pleased with his work then, so we decided to hire his company again and we are glad that we did. Mike came out on a weekend to quote the work to be done. He followed up within two days with a written quote. He said that he was quite busy, but he was able to schedule a work date three weeks away, which was OK with us. Luckily, due to an opening in his schedule Mike was OK with us. The work took two days and Mike brought in a group of men to complete the work. They were very professional, cleaning up after themselves and taking away all of the waste. It's a true statement that Mike is not happy until you are happy. I would use him again in a heartbeat, and have recommended him to several neighbors, who have also been pleased with him and his company.

I wanted to give a good review because we used this company in 2013 and had a very good experience. I contacted them March 16 to get an estimate for some landscape work. Mike came out with his daughter on a Sunday to look at the work and provide us with an estimate. He spent about 30 -45 minutes going over the details with us and said he would contact us with a price and suggestions on what plants we may want to use. We told him no rush, that we didn't need the work done until after the 15th of April. Maybe that was our mistake because we never heard back from Mike again. I guess we'll chalk it up to bad luck, but saw other reviews where he did the same thing. Maybe he's too busy or just picks and chooses which jobs he wants to do. At any rate, we'll never call him again and have found someone else who actually follows through with what they say they're going to do. P.S. - This is not a false review.

Mike and his team showed up a little late because they passed the property about 5 times before finding it but after that I was very pleased with the work. They got out to our property only 2 days after we met for the quote, and although our yard is very small they cleaned it up better than it has ever looked before. Would definitely use them again, price was fair and they were willing to do whatever we needed.

Mike and his crew did an amazing job. It was very difficult work, especially the clean-up, which was extensive. Mike is an absolute pleasure to work with. Knowledgeable, accommodating and I highly recommend his company for any job large or small. He approaches it with the same professionalism. It went very well. Mike kept asking if we were pleased with what he was doing and was willing to go back again and trim another layer off our pineapple palm tree. He thinned out some trees in the back, so we could see through them. He asked if he trimmed enough and were we satisfied with what he had done. Wen he was finished he asked us to look around and make sure he did what we had requested. He also informed us of what he thought was a problem with our grass and why we were getting chinch bugs. He explained and showed us what the problem was. We had to call our mower and tell him that he had to cut in different directions, each time, and not as low as he was cutting. Overall, it was an excellent experience using this landscaper. He was very responsive to telephone calls and a member of the family always answered the telephone when we called.

Excellent. Mike and crew did an excellent job hand pulling weeds, trimming back plants and trees in the front yard. I originally contacted them to get pricing of the weeding as well as curbing for the front lawn. Mike advised the "curbing" he uses is smaller than i need and would be expensive and advised to get a company that only does curbing. WOW that was my reaction. So Mike and his crew were hired to just do the hand weeding, plant and tree trimming. They showed up early and Mike left one employee to start as he had to go and finish another job. This worker started right away and was continually on his hands and knees pulling weeds. (i had to force him to take a bottle of water midway through as even though it was not HOT today he was still in the sun the whole time) Mike and the rest of his crew returned shortly after and the whole team went right to work completing all the above listed tasks and the clean up. Mike and his crew did a GREAT job i will hire them again in the future and would and will recommend Mike and his team for landscape work :o)

The work was done quickly and professionally. Crew went above and beyond my expectations. Garden never looked better. Mike was very helpful in explaining what he was doing and giving ideas on what should be done.

Mike was really great to work with. He did everything he said he was going to do and way above that. He completely exceeded my expectations. He was very fair on the price and kept throwing in extras that he saw needed done and didn't charge me for it. He also cleaned everything up immaculately. I was having the fascia of our home replaced and gutters installed at the same time they were doing the sod, (due to the rain everyone's schedules ended up shifting and they ended up there on the same day) but the other workers even commented to me what a great job that MikAm did on the sod. And coincidentally neighbors of ours had sod done the same week and we were getting comments about how much better our sod looked. Also, while Mike was at our home he notified me of a potential problem he saw in our front lawn that wasn't being replaced and said I should have it looked at by someone, that he didn't like how it looked said something was wrong and that we were going to lose our sod there, I told him we had a lawn company that treated it and he then said they aren't doing a good job. So on that recommendation I called in another pesticide company (that I found on Angie's list) and sure enough we had chinch bugs. Mike saved our front yard!

Mike came out for an estimate. I was impressed with his offer and felt he would do a good job maintaining my lawn, but I went with another provider based on referral from a friend.

I was not here during the work but overall i was very satisfied. They cleaned up after the work well enough that you couldn't tell it was done.

Mikam could not have been more professional or responsive. They called me back immediately when I first requested a quote, they were the lowest bid-and they did fantastic work! I will definitely use them again.

I really enjoyed working with Mike. He and his crew did excellent work landscaping the back and front yards. I really appreciated his idea to use lava rocks in the plant bedding by the pool, which wouldn't have to be maintained nor get in the pool like mulch would. I also like the trees he got for our backyard. Mike provides excellent customer service and I highly recommend him!

Mike and his crew worked for three full days replacing 1/3 of an acre with Seville Sod. They also cut down a few small trees, planted six Areca Palms, and delivered a trailer load of crushed coquina. We experienced a few delays, some beyond their control, weather; and others that were frustrating as some of our sod was diverted to a side job in our neighborhood that was picked up by Mike as they neared completion of our lawn. In the end, we are satisfied with the end result. They did, eventually return to replace some areas that were scalped when cut at the farm and subsequently died. The quality of the work was acceptable, but the delays were frustrating.

Due to all the rain, the job started July 23 & 24, 2014. Then, it started back Aug 4 and completed 8, 2014. Mike and his crew worked very hard cleaning a huge area of Palmettos in our back yard that was covered with vines and poison ivy. We haven't had time in about 3 years to do anything with this area. Mike also cut down several trees and trimmed the limbs off a tree that was hanging over our new roof. We are very pleased with this company. Mike and his crew were very professional and really took pride in the work they did. We have other projects down the road to be done and will be calling Mike again to work on them. His price is very reasonable. Mike also gave us good advice on things to do to keep up the area so the vines don't come back. If you have work to be done in your yard---call Mike. You will be very happy with him. We rate him A++++++++

Everything was great. Mike came within a day of being called, and quickly provided a quote for the work needed. He dug out a two foot border around my pool deck, put a weed barrier in the bottom, and installed three Foxtail palm trees, topping everything with a layer of river rock. The service was quick, well done, and worth the money spent. I would definitely use MikAm Landscaping in the future.

MikAm was a true pleasure to work with! They gave us a very reasonable quote for trimming (a lot of trimming) and the installation of around 60 plants. -- He and his men were very professional and efficient and we look forward to working with them for future landscaping maintenance.
