Mike and Amy both tell you exactly what they were going to do after they ask what you want done and they do exactly what you ask them to do. They give recommendations on what type of trees, shape of landscape and what type of rocks and that kind of thing. They are upfront on everything. There is no hemming around. Whatever they say is what they do.

Job went fine and on time. May hire them again.

The job was not done on the promised date and not completed as per my request. However, after explaining what I wanted they went back and fixed it. The price did go up for the work that I thought was included in the original price.

Mike and two of his employees cleared the area, planted 35 podocarpus schrubs and mulched. They a did a fantastic job in a few hours. Really nice people and very efficient. The hedge looks great.

Mike came out and quoted a price. The price he quoted seemed fair. He wanted to do the work on a Saturday which we ok'd. He measured and then told us he would call us back because he had to get a price on some material. My wife wanted to put rock in the ditch in front of our house. When he called with the added cost of the material, I told him that we couldn't afford the rock part at this point but we wanted to move forward on the cleanup part, he told me that he he couldn't do it because he couldn't make money doing it on a Saturday. I am disappointed because he was the one pushing us to do it on Saturday and we never questioned his quote. I can't speak to the quality of his work since he never did anything for us. We had every intention of using him for the rest of the work when we got the finances together so it wasn't like we were using him to leverage anybody else. The part that really bothered me was that when I initially told him that we couldn't afford the whole job he said ok. 5 minutes later he called me back and said we had a misunderstanding and then proceeded to tell me about the losing money part.

Great! Mike is a high energy, "git 'er done" kind of guy, but was also easy to work with. Mike and his wife Amy walked our property several times and met with us to understand what we wanted. They were very helpful in offering advice and suggestions. Mike and his workers were professional and courteous while working the job. They were on time and finished the job on schedule. We selected Mike over 7 other contractors we contacted because of the value of his proposal, and the detail he offered. We highly recommend him.

I contacted MikAm for and estimate and he was at my home within 2 hours. His price was reasonable, he is very easy to work with and very accommodating. He estimated 4 days to complete the project and finished one day ahead of schedule. He and his wife followed up with both an email and a phone call to make sure I was completely satisfied and to provide detailed instructions on caring for my new lawn. I am completely satisfied with ever aspect of this transaction. I HIGHLY recommend Mike and his team. Should I need additional landscaping services in the future MikAm will be my choice

It all went well and quick, the trees were 2 little Christmas palms planted about two weeks before Matthew struck. The fence around them went down but the trees stood tall and proud. I would call him again.

He was here in the morning with two helpers and they all spent 4 hours working on fixing up our yard and taking the tree parts to the road, as they took them down. They even fixed up the area where the trees were pulled out from the ground so you can't tell the trees where there. They were able to save some of the little banana trees. They worked hard and careful the whole time. We were grateful for their quick attention to our need for help.

I emailed them and received an immediate answer. The next day they were here. Decided they would do it on the spot. They pulled lots of weeds and carried the larger ones out. It is so much to look it cleaned. Now I can start from scratch to redo it again.

Were here on time to not only quote, but to begin job as promised. Excellent workmanship. Kept me informed as work progressed. Made suggestions on how to improve what I wanted. As a retired business man, this was the type of service, timeliness, and execution you would want. Would recommend them to anyone.

Cleaned weeds out of old hedge bed, planted new plants and laid mulch; trimmed date palm (who knew it had so many trunks?!); spread mulch under huge laurel oak tree, pulled out non-flourishing peach tree; spread mulch in nearly entire back yard; cleaned intrusive vine off fence (overgrowth from neighbor's yard), cleaned up/trimmed split-leaf philodendron; cleaned base of fruit trees and layered with topsoil. Asking them to come back to do more!

I called MikAm less than a week ago, and Mike cane out the same day to discuss what I wanted. Since I have little knowledge of landscaping, I relied on Mike's expertise. He was very easy to talk to. I was flexible on my timeline, but Mike and his team got everything done wuickly. I am very satisfied with how it turned out. Mike even cleaned off the top of my back porch, as there was an embarrassing amount if dirt up there!

This was a truly wonderful experience. I contacted Mike and he immediately came out to visit and listen to what I wanted done. He walked with me around the yard, making suggestions, and was able to provide an estimate for the overall project before he left. We agreed on a date for the work to be done and he met that schedule. His team was professional and when complete there was no mess of items I had to contend with addressing - it was all done and beautiful. I think so much of the work done and value received that I am now going to have them come back three times a year to make sure my landscaping looks as good as it did when he left. Most importantly to me, Mike and his team are very, very responsive. I tend to use email over the phone due to my schedule and I was very impressed at how quickly I received responses. I would feel very comfortable recommending Mike to anyone that needs landscaping services.

Excellent work. Trees were trimmed beautifully, area was cleaned and contractor even followed up to be sure we were pleased with the job.

Excellent job all-around! - Estimate - Responded quickly to my request. Came out for a quote at no fee. Arrived on time. Friendly and professional. Sent a professional, written estimate when promised. - Scheduling the job - Very flexible. I had to move the job dates and they responded quickly to confirm the new dates with no hassle. Then called the day prior to performing the work to confirm all the details. - Performing the job - Team showed up at the time expected. Very professional. Took a walk of the property to re-confirm exact details of the work. Began work quickly and worked very efficiently. Cleaned up all tree waste immediately - nothing left at our property. Then had a root grinder to finish the job. Mike was great! He performed much of the work himself and supervised everything. He even took care not to damage a couple other plants that I asked him to look out for even though they could have easily been damaged when doing the work. Outstanding overall. - Happy from beginning to end of the process and with the end result, and with the price for the work performed. Definitely recommend and would use again.
