Description of Work: These folks are great. Mike shows up when he says he will show up and his prices are very competitive. Mike and his entire staff did an excellent job with a yard clean up and laying new sod. I would highly recommend MIKAM for any landscaping services.

Description of Work: Landscaping layout for front yard; removal of one tree with stump grinding; planted 3 palm trees & 14 plants with rock & decorative landscaping border; laid sod. Excellent job completed in a timely manner.

Description of Work: MikAm removed most of the plants from our front yard plant beds, replaced them with new plants, new mulch, and trimmed a few Areca palm branches that were touching the house gutters. The work was completed in a single day and we were very pleased with the new plant beds. The yard was nicely cleaned up after their work was done. They also hauled all of the debris away, leaving the yard good as new.

Description of Work: There is not enough room on this page to properly review MIKAM LANDSCAPING. I joined Angie's List to find a good company to come and do an initial shrub and tree trimming and then to come every few months to maintain the yard. It is a very large yard with lots of trees, shrubs and bushes. One side of the house looked like a jungle. Some trees had to be cut down as well. Mike showed up right on time to give us an estimate. We liked him from the first contact. He is very professional, has a great personality and truly takes an interest in your yard. He complimented us on our property and greeted both of us with a handshake. He has proper manners and respect for his customers. He stayed the first time for over 30 minutes going over every foot of the property and making suggestions and telling us what he could do for us. He listened to every one of our concerns and plans. When we were done he took my email and said he would send a quote minus the 10% for Angies List members. His wife Amy who is also a fantastic person, emailed me the same day with Mike's quote. We had already scheduled to have another quote from another company on AL and so I told him we would get back with him soon. The other company's owner came and was very nice as well but she did not offer as many services like tree cutting and hauling away the debris at no extra charge, as Mike did. We decided on Mike and he was here working within three days. The first time he came, he had two men with him and they worked in the hot sun without taking a break for over 5 hours. All of the debris was put into a long trailer he brings with him. He leaves nothing on your property. A storm was brewing and he said he would be back the following week to finish. He did not want any money until the job was completed and to our satisfaction. This fact alone is unheard of. He showed up the following week right on schedule and stayed another 3 hours with three men this time. They all worked hard non-stop, no messing around. They completed the job and we inspected it. It was all done beyond our satisfaction. I can't stress enough how wonderful Mike's company is and how hard of a worker he is and his crew. He also did not hesitate to haul off some old PVC pipe we had but no longer needed and offered to haul off other stuff to the dump next time he's in the neighborhood. None of which was in his contract. He goes above and beyond what he is paid to do. We have agreed to hire Mike for our regular yard maintenance every 3-4 months at a cost of about $300.00. His prices are very reasonable and you will get way more than you pay for. He does what it takes to satisfy his customers and then some. I highly recommend Mike's company. You will not be disappointed. It was worth joining AL for even if I never use it for anything else! His wife Amy is very prompt at returning emails and sending proposals and calling customers in the evening. In addition, Mike makes sure you have his cell number and he always answers unless he is working in a tree! Thank you Mikam for a great job, we sure appreciate your hard work and great prices. You will never be out of work with your work ethic and great customer service skills. One more thing to note, Mike knows everything about plants, trees, bushes etc, you are not just getting a laborer, he is a true professional in every sense of the word. |

Description of Work: They came out, gave a good quote, he seemed very knowledgeable. Seemed very likeable and had a good presentation. | |He came for the quote as scheduled. Gave us a day and time he would do the work. He did not show up. He called the next day and said his wife should have called us earlier. Gave us another day for the work, did not show up or call. We called him, he gave us another excuse, I think his truck broke down, then he gave us another day and time. No show and did not call. We went with another company. |

Description of Work: I had an erosion issue with my seawall. Mike and Amy stopped by the same day I called. Mike filled the hole behind the seawall and layed sod along the length of the seawall to prevent future erosion. He also installed a step down to the dock and planted 12 confederate jasmine plants. Will definately call in the future for any landscaping projects.

Description of Work: I used MikAm Landscaping to remove all the underbrush from the trees and the palmetto and he also removed tree stumps from my horseshoe driveway.

Description of Work: I emailed and asked for a quote. A quote was returned within a day after a site visit and for a fair price. I was then asked to pay up front, I do not mind this as I was out of town. However when I asked for verification of thier FL Tax ID # (W-9) and copy of insurance / workers comp, I was told that these documents could not be provided and that they could not invest any more time in the project and would not complete the proejct. Truley diapointing as finding some to service rental properties is not easy.

Description of Work: Mike and Guy came to our house and took a look at our yard. We wanted our septic mound reshaped and resodded because the grass across the front had died, wild bahai grass had moved in. The septic mound is large and it was shaped in a manner that makes it very difficult to mow. We were given an estimate to replace the dead/bad grass and plant juniper across the front. After considering it, we decided to skip the juniper (just one more area that would need weeding), and have them install all grass.

Description of Work: They responded to my request very quickly, came to the house within 2 hours. Did all the hedge and Palm tree trimming, cleaned up and completed the job that day. Very efficient and cost competitive. I thought they over trimmed the Palms, more than I would have preferred. I should have been more explicit in my directions.
