 + -1 moreWow, they really did their best to reduce a possible three week wait down to 2 hours, and they succeded. They only take cash or checks, but the service and value they provide is unbeatable.
Description of Work: Wonderful people and great price! I called them this morning to ask if they could fix a broken shaft on my weedeater. They told my they close at noon on Saturdays, but I could bring it in anytime before that. When I took it to them they told me they would need to order a new shaft because the old one could not be fixed. Two or three weeks was the ETA. About an hour later I got a call saying that they were able to find a used shaft in their inventory and asked if I would like them to use that for the repair instead of a new one. I said sure. They said fine, and that it would be ready for pick up in 30 minutes.

 + -1 moreTheir first job for me was to get a generator running after it had sat unstarted for 6 years; it's still running great. They actually tried to talk me out of the second job...a low-end weed eater that wouldn't start. They explained that it may not be cost effective to repair it since it could cost almost half as much as a new one ($100). This particular model had features that I liked and were no longer available for the original purchase price, so I asked them to go ahead and repair it. It only cost $23 and runs like a top. Unlike many other places around town, they'll fix any brand you throw at them, not just what they sell.
Description of Work: I've used them twice in the past year and had great experiences both times.
