The owner, Mike, was prompt, courteous, and amiable, as well as easy to get in contact with and knowledgeable. The gentleman who installed the shutters was efficient, knowledgeable and completed the jobs in a a timely manner. The cost was fair and I would absolutely utilize MRSS in the future if necessary.

He is wonderful. He is very attentive and informative.

Awesome job! Took longer than expected due to material supplier issues, but everything was otherwise perfect.

It went smoothly. We had to wait around 3 weeks for the work to be performed but it is hurricane season. It is better to plan and do this from December to April. Only drawback is that the contractor only accepts cash which is not my preferred method of payment.

I called two providers to get quotes. The first one said "someone will call you back" and no one did. Maximum Resistance returned my call, set an appointment for a quote and was on time. Mike listened to our concerns, proposed the most cost efficient option and set a date for install. They were four days early with the install and an hour early on the day of install as well. There looked like there would be a problem with the slope of the porch and the accordian shutter but the install team figured out a solution on site and it all works very well. I'm happy with the work and glad to have the job completed.

After my new roof, soffits and fascia were complete, he ordered and completed the mixed variety of treatments for my home: shutters, sliders and panels. The work was timely, well done and attractive in appearance. He was there on time with whatever was needed continuously throughout the project.. My insurance bill was halved, and I am ready for the big storms which I hope we continue to avoid!

Mike is very knowledgeable and was able to answer all the technical questions I had . His final price was very competitive and his products are well known brands. Be careful of other contractors who just buy piece parts and put the accordians or roll-ups together , might not meet the stated ratings ! He pulled the permit , provided the inspectors with all the technical information , which I highly recommend that you keep that package for your insurance company questions and for your wind rating for you property. All work was done within the time provided in his bid , workmanship was good and Mike's follow-up was excellent. I would recommend MAXIMUM RESISTANCE STORM SHUTTERS to everyone !

Mike was friendly, professional, and punctual. He showed up right on time and quickly evaluated the job and offered all available options. The job was done on the day he said it would. The guides look great on the house - very clean installation. The workers left the site clean. I was not there when the work was done, so cannot comment on the workers themselves. Mike followed up and brought the panels and hardware over himself, explained the install, and stored them in the garage. The panels are stamped with the rating Mike originally explained they would be. He did everything he said he would and I got exactly what I paid for (he also gives an Angie's List discount). I have 2 more windows I will be getting done and will definitely use Maximum Resistance for them as well.

MAXIMUM RESISTANCE STORM SHUTTERS came out probably 6 weeks ago and everything's fine.

Mike Katsarakes is a professional in his demeanour and his work execution. He was clear with me about the problems involved with each shutter, had the tools in hand to do what was needed, tackled the jobs instantly, and worked very hard (and successfully) to effect repairs. The work involved a lot of climbing up and down ladders, wrestling with stubborn mechanics, fending off mud daubers, and gently removing out-of-place frogs. Neither repair was easy, and Mike could easily have fixed the manual shutter and scheduled a separate appointment to fix the electric shutter. This would have earned him money for a second visit, and I would have been none the wiser. That he did not do so is evidence of an honest businessman who works on behalf of his customers. This was a hot and muggy day, despite being November, and throughout all his hard work Mike maintained a cheerful, friendly attitude. I learned a lot about hurricane shutters while he worked! I will definitely use Maximum Resistance again, if I have future issues with my shutters or desire new. I recommend him to all.

Mike is a very honest and sincere owner of Maximum Resistance Storm Shutters. Mike is very experienced and skilled. He immediately identified unique areas of installation requiring exact measurements and solutions. He was upfront about which shutters would be best for us. Mike (the owner) and Dave installed the shutters very carefully and precise with a great deal of concern for ease and smoothness of function of the accordian shutters. They worked continuously and efficiently with great and fun attitudes. When finished, Mike showed us the function of each installation and how to maintain the shutters for durability. Although the estimate was in the middle of the 3 we received, we definitely felt we got our money's worth with Maximum.

He came on the day we set up for him to give me an estimate. He gave me the estimate of cost the same day. He then said he would call me on the following Friday or Monday to set up a day to install them. He did not call me either day. I called him on Tuesday and left a message to call me about the installation date. He did not call me back. I called on Wednesday and left another message. Later that day, I called again and left another message. He finally called me back on Wednesday afternoon. We setup the installation for the following Friday at 9:00 am. He did not show up until 10:00 am. They showed up and did a great job in an efficient amount of time. I like Mr. Katsarakes and he has a pleasant personality. F

Very well. Mike and Tony took the time to explain every thing I had a question about. Mike even called a government program for hurricane proofing homes to get an answer to one of my questions-and that was before I signed the contract. They contacted me when they said they would and did the installation when scheduled (it was about 4 weeks from order to install). They even found me a $300 manufacturer's rebate on one of the products!! I'm very pleased and would do business with this company again if the opportunity presents itself.

They did exactly what they said they would and more! The accordions look great! We have recommended Maximum Resistance to several of our friends and neighbors. They're AWESOME.
