Honor Construction Inspection Services

They were on time, had a team of experienced and professional people to conduct the inspection. They went over all the findings before leaving and made sure I had no questions. We had a detailed report the next morning before 10 am.

They showed up on time and spent over an hour and a half explaining everything to me and then my realtor showed up and they went over it with him again as well. I was very pleased with their professionalism and ability to make sure I understood everything in full. They all three took pictures of what they checked and each one of them explained what they had inspected. I look forward to talking to Michelle and having John come back to do the next inspection. It is always nice to have someone who will take time with you and not feel rushed to finish the job. I would and have recommended them and they came highly recommended by a close friend who is a builder and said they would do the best job as well. Glad I choose them out of all the ones I looked at I think I made the right choice!

Great service provided. The appointment process was very easy. I was able to sign and pay online without needing to show up at their office or even be at the inspection until the end when they revealed their findings. Very thorough inspection down to rusted nails on the roof. This company checks the house from top to bottom and has a team of employees that each know their job and are able to complete the inspection quickly. At the end each employee presents their findings on the day of inspection. The next day I received my full inspection report with pictures of every problem noted, even each rusted nail on the roof. Great inspection company. I will refer them to everyone I know and will use them for any other property I purchase in the future!

The insepection went well. Compared to other home inspections I'd had done in the past, Honor seemed much more professional & thorough. What I found comforting was the fact that one of the owners was there & has construction experience; thus I felt he knew more about structure integrity than any other inspector I'd encountered in the past. The only bump in the road involved the termite report which was immediately clarified & put to rest in a professional manner. I highly recommend Honor.

The process was the most thorough of any home inspection I've ever had done. The entire team was professional, efficient, knowledgeable & very thorough. They even took time to spray wasp nests in the eaves which I thought was doing more than expected. I was very impressed by their knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing systems & structural integrity. They KNEW their business & went about it efficiently. The plus to all this is the fact that the Owner has been in construction & thus has that added knowledge of construction which I feel is a definite advantage for their clients. They truly care about what they do & it shows!

We contacted Honor Construction to inspect this home, as it was on the market, again. They were booked, but we had a 10 day deadline to decide whether or not to buy. They fit us in, showed up on time, upbeat and professional. This was the second time we used their services and would recommend them to anyone for this service. Knowledgeable, ethical and respectful. The report was sent immediately to us via e-mail, and a printed copy was provided for our files. We highly recommend this Company.

He is professional, punctual and very knowledgeable. John documents every step of the process and writes a detailed report. He graciously made a special trip to the house to inspect a new roof so we could make our closing date. I would use Honor Construction again and I certainly recommend John.

Honor engineers solved a mystery I had about a shrinking partition wall, and also showed my structure to be sound and walls plumb.

John and 2 employees arrived on time for the inspection. He and his staff were very professional and friendly. When he turned on the dishwasher it was not getting any water. It was discovered by our builder the next day that the water valve was not on. I think this was a simple item that Honor Const. should have been able to figure out as being the reason for not having water to the dishwasher. Over all they did a good job and the price was great.

They were extremely professional and expediant in setting up the appointment and then reminding me of it the day before. John, the inspector, even returned to the home on a later day so that he could inspect the storage room, which had been blocked by the tenants belongings, and to inspect a roof repair that had been completed. And he did not even charge me for the return visit. Their report was thorough with lots of pictures, and the summary at the end told me exactly all the work that needed to be done. They also coordinated with the pest inspector to be there at the same time.

It was a great inspection. They had three technicians assessing the home. They were very thorough.

I had a home inspection scheduled with another company but was told about 3 days before the inspection was to be completed that the inspector was sick and unable to complete the inspection. I tried contacting multiple inspectors to find a replacement. Fortunately I found Honor Construction and while they normally don't service the county I live in they were very willing to help me at the last minute. I wanted to be present during the inspection so I could learn about the house and know any issues for a walk through that was going to happen the next day. The house was being newly constructed and John and his assistant showed up early and were extremely professional and very thorough in the job that they did. They walked the entire roof, tested all of the sprinklers, did thermal imaging, tested all outlets and appliances, inspected the attic ..... you name it and they did it. The took may digital pictures and even gave me stickers to mark cosmetic areas that the builder needed to touch up before closing. They made themselves available to answer any and all question I had about the home, it's construction, maintenance plans, etc and I was very impressed with their effort. Michelle was the point of contact in setting up the appointment and was very friendly and quick to respond to both email and phone calls. In less than 24 hours after the inspection I was emailed an extremely thorough and detailed inspection report with pictures. Additionally, John was licensed to do Wind Mitigation so I received paperwork to provided to my insurance company to detail the construction features present to save me money.To be quite honest, this is how I wish all businesses in the country were run!!! I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and recommend them to friends and family.

We found them on Angie's List and they did a really good job. They did a really thorough job and their inspection report was out standing. When I asked for clarification on the inspection they took it in and returned it to me with in an hour. They do a good job. I am in the house now and the only things I am finding are what they told us about. Another thing they did for me was wrap all the inspections into one. They pulled in a termite inspector from outside their company and stuff like that and scheduled everything for me. So for the service they gave me they had a good price. I would use them again.

John was easy to get intouch with. Scheduled the Inspection when I wanted it done. Showed up on time, worked diligently, discussed what he was going to do ahead of time, reported to me what he had found verbally immediately after the inspection, and then followed up the next day with an extremely well documented written report with numerous photographs of all areas inspected. He and his helper were extremely polite, kept me informed all throughout the inspection. True professionals.

John conducted a through inspection, provided a complete explanation immediately upon completion, and followed-up with a written report with photos the next day, John is professional, on-time, knowledgable, and reasonably priced.

John arrived at my house a few minutes early and had already started inspecting the outside by the time I arrived. Over the course of two to three hours he led me around the outside and then inside and thoroughly inspected every aspect of the house. As we went from area to area he pointed out to me anything of significance and in general kept me in the loop of what he was doing. He was extremely thorough in his inspection and by the time he was finished I felt confident that he had checked every aspect of the house well. On top of the inspection itself, he made several recommendations for preventative measures that we could take to address things before they actually became a problem (such as rocks near drainage pipes/tubes to help disperse water away from the house). He was also willing to answer every question I had, even those related to the house but not related to the inspection. John himself was very professional and friendly. He was a pleasure to work with and I would not hesitate to highly recommend him to anyone looking to have a home inspection done. The peace of mind of having a top-to-bottom inspection of our new home by Honor Construction was well worth the money to us.

I was very impressed. The owner of the company did a two hour inspection and provided me detailed pictures of everything from inside the attic to the smallest crack along the outside foundation of the house. He then spent another hour and forty-five minutes explaining everything he found both good and bad. He also took the time to recommend the type of repairs needed on appliances as well as the house. I've had home inspections before, but nothing as detailed or as extensive. I highly recommend this company!!
