GW Pumps and Purification

Revised company return 59. Dollars and told me they missed the mark. I give them credit for reaching out and giving me back the service charge.

The job went awesome. Called in the afternoon, they showed up the next morning and in 2 hours the job was done. The Tank with labor was about $800, but do your self a favor and replace the expansion tank and gas line as well, with a flex hose. The expansion tank's don't last to long and the gas lines will flake inside and clog your jets if you don't have a drop line. Only thing was the invoice was never sent to me because the tech's laptop crashed, they'll invoice me later.

Pump replaced and tested. Feedback provided on defects in pool equipment. When leak developed a few days later, the leak was repaired quickly and without question

My first mistake was not reading ALL of the reviews on Angie's List, not just the positive ones. On November 1, 2018 I contacted GW Pumps because of a lack of water at the residence. At approximately 1PM, TamiLyn showed up, and upon explaining my issue to her, she proceeded to perform a series of tests, to include changing / replacing some of the PVC pipes that had already been replaced a day ago. By the time she was done, the water pump itself that had been working when she arrived, no longer was functioning. At this time she quoted me a price of over twelve hundred dollars to replace the water pump. I politely asked her to leave and contacted another company, who fixed the issue for half the price. Now, I've requested services from this company before, and the guy they sent out that time was fair, and was able to fix the system. But, I wished I had read another's reviewers comment (Who rated her a F) about TamiLyn prior to contacting GW Pumps.

He arrived on time. Was neat and completed the job quickly. Professional service.

Consultation was provided promptly and advice was professional and well received.

I arranged the house visit while still out of state. Serviceman was prompt ((even, a little early), He checked water conditions and re-set my RainSoft clock, etc. Added salt per my prior approval. I will definitely use GW Pumps & Purification every time I need a service rendered.

Leaving for work one day I entered the garage to find that the hot water tank had started leaking. I did a quick search on Angi's list and found good reviews for GW Plumbing. By 11 that morning he had someone at my house to replace the pump. I was concerned I was going to be without water for the weekend and REALLY appreciated their SUPER FAST response. After the install the service man wrote the invoice and while I thought it was a little high I was just glad to have it done quickly and I could get back to my life. About a week later I got a letter from GW Plumbing with a check from them. They had found a math error on the invoice and WITHOUT me prompting them sent me a refund for the correction. WOW!!!! I was sooo impressed!

They just did an inspection and said my softener was broke and wanted to sell me a new one and never did a call back.

Excellent! Educated us on the system we have and how to maintain it. Gave us estimates on parts & labor if needed. We are very grateful to Angie's List for this. We saved so much & with no pressure to buy new.

Excellent. Estimate of prices was provided before the work was performed and there were no deviations. New heater and installation were provided the next day after call.

Perfect, did all work same day. The technician could not have been any nicer or more professional and work was to very high standards. They are my go to company from now on.

TamiLyn came out and performed the water testing well enough. However, she told me there were a lot of issues with my system, basically said the only thing working well enough was the pump and I could get everything replaced and fitted for around $6000. I got another personally recommended company for a 2nd opinion and it turns out all I needed was a $65 service. On top of that, she changed the settings on the water conditioner so that I would run out of cleaned water; I assume so that I would be convinced to pay the $6000. I've now heard that this is typical of her so if you use this company, don't believe what she says and always get a 2nd opinion. It saved me a lot of money!

Dan was extremely professional and incredibly reasonable. All the other places that I contacted said they couldn't come out until the next week. Dan made arrangements to come out that day and replace our water heater. He was here many hours making adjustments to the new unit on a sweltering hot day. I couldn't be happier with his services and I would hire again in a heartbeat! Thanks Dan!!!

They indicated the salt need to be dropped as it created a hard dome allowing gap in the salt

Found out the prior owner had the system bypassed and it didn't actually work. The technician was helpful in explaining the system.

Work was done promptly, thorough, and professionally.

GW Pump was very professional how they went about things. Call me first to see if i was present. They walked me through what they were going to do. I walked out from time to time. The gw pump people were very pleasant and answered all my questions and even replaced the condenser capacitor outside for free. I am very pleased with how the work was done.

Mr. O'Brien provided me with information over the phone and via email. His estimate was provided via email and was very comprehensive. I chose one of the options he gave me and he gave me all necessary information about the water tank being installed. He got me onto the manufacturer's website even after he had left the office. He scheduled the work for Friday morning, was on time, focused, and helpful at explaining everything he said he would do for the exact price he quoted. I would use him again without hesitation. Great installation.

Great Took the old pump out to test it and brought it back because it has a few more years of life in it. Very honest . Found the real problem

From beginning to end, the installation went smoothly. The installer was friendly and very competent. He seemed well-educated and was very secure in his ability to solve my water-heater problem. and he explained the work very clearly. I will certainly call GW Pumps & Purification again.

I got the service of the owner as the technician, so I got the best service that I could hope. After they left there was a leak, I called them and they came to fix the problem, no additional costs

Excellent. I am very happy with the service and system that was installed. Everyone at the company with whom I interacted were very professional and followed up when promised. TamiLyn was very thorough in testing and assessing my existing water system set up. She presented several options and did not try to sell me equipment that I didn't need. I opted for a metered 3M water softener, carbon filter, salt tank, H2O2 solution chem feed, and .75HP pump for the house water. TamiLyn did all of the installation and left the area where the system was installed significantly cleaner and more organized than what she found at the start. The house water has more pressure and is of better quality. I am also very glad that she was able to get my irrigation system working again. The irrigation well is free flow, but the pressure alone is not sufficient to use at the far ends of my yard. TamiLyn used my old house pump to boost the pressure of water from the irrigation well. I don't have to use the pump every time, but it is easy to switch on when I need it. She also replaced the filters in my ROS. I am very pleased.

The technician did a good job of installing the new pump. He dug up my pump pad and raised it up. He connected the new pump by cutting everything back and making new connections. He dug out the lid to my zone switches. The only problem was he broke my shut-off valve to my well. The owner had a subcontractor come and replace my shut-off valve and reconnect my well to the irrigation pipe. He also did a nice job reconnecting everything. I was given an estimate of $500 but the bill was about $650. Everything is in much better condition now and this pump should last longer than my old one with the new cover on it. Also, I'm sure this pump is a better quality than what you can purchase through retail stores.

They were able to accommodate us within 2 days. We explained the issue and they were able to come out while we were not at home to expedite a fix. They called when they arrived and explained what the issue was. They fixed it on the first visit and didn't take advantage of us being present to validate the cost. Highly recommend them.
