 + -1 moreRemoved old countertops carefully so as not to break tile backsplash. Put in new counters which fit perfectly. After they were done installing, everything was cleaned and they removed the old counters. Would hire them again and will recommend them to friends.

 + 2 moreIt was a surprising pleasure to have their help and guidance in preparing, designing, and selecting materials for our new kitchen. They developed a plan, presented it, made suggestions, revised the plan, and then executed - meeting both the timeline and budget estimates. The quality of the products installed (cabinet and granite) are far better than anticipated and the price point for the quality received was superior to any other alternative we reviewed. Their contractors were exceptional in the care and attention to detail and we are very pleased with the final product.
Description of Work: We purchased a home in late March and have completed a complete kitchen remodel. Working with Eastern Kitchen & Bath we removed everything from the kitchen back to the bare walls as well as removed a center island and wall soffits. From there, they assisted us in designing and selecting the cabinet layout as well as helping us with some general construction efforts that were required to prepare for the new cabinet installation. They handled both the cabinets and granite installation.

 + 3 moreIn summary, they did a good job, not an excellent job on our kitchen upgrade. To their credit, we got the job done by Eastern Kitchen for approximately 50% of what Home Depot wanted.
Description of Work: They provided us with a detailed estimate of what it would cost after we selected the cabinet(s) we wanted. Also, the countertops. Later, we made a change to get a superior countertop based on some reviews performed by evaluation agencies. That raised the estimates by about $2000. That was fair. The problems arose with a subcontractor of theirs who did not do a good job. And, Eastern Kitchen refused to do anything about it. They also took 3 to 4 months to decide to do nothing. We have several emails that document the problems we experienced with them. Finally, Eastern Kitchen sent their crew over to look the problem over and refused to address the problem. We had some difficulties understanding the language; they didn't speak good english. Our only concern was getting them to fix the problem. They wouldn't. I believe they did not fully understand the role of a subcontractor. There also was a very definite problem in communications between the sales/contracts lady in the office and the crew who does the work. Sometimes they were not on the same page.

 + 3 moreEastern Kitchen and Bath replaced our old kitchen cabinets with new ones and installed new granite countertops. The value for the cost was good; and the installation was very professional. It took 2 days of work at our house and one day between to cut the granite at their facility. The workers were very quick, skillful, cooperative and having a good personality. Caren was very caring and easy to communicate with, her and Tony?s advices were very helpful. I didn?t regret a bit that I used this company. The only thing that confused me a little is that I did not consider the lightening at my kitchen and all the colors that I chose at the shop looked a bit differently in my kitchen, a little bit off my expectations. But at the moment when everything is done it looks so well, that I accepted these colors too. My neighbors told me that my kitchen looks like a model home?s kitchen now, a very good compliment. If I decide to remodel my bathrooms, I will certainly go to Eastern Kitchen and Bath again.

 + 0 moreEastern Kitchen and Bath did an excellent job installing kitchen cabinets and granite. Although they did not start working until noon daily at our house, they completed the job in 3 1/2 days. Work was professional, precise and timely. The kitchen cabinets are high quality wood and they look great in our kitchen. We are very pleased with the materials used and the professionalism of the crew. Best of all, my wife is happy!
Description of Work: They replaced all of the cabinets and installed granite in the kitchen. The contract is very easy to read and clearly states that they do not install appliances (microwaves, in wall ovens, etc) after cabinets are installed and they do not connect the plumbing. Arrangements have to be made for these items to be installed or connected. The contract also clearly states that they are not responsible for repairing minor scuffs, nicks or mars on walls that occur during installation. However, they will repair any major damage that might be cause during installation (no damage during our installation). They were very professional and precise during the cabinet and granite installation.

 + 0 moreEXCELLENT!!! EXCELLENT!!! EXCELLENT!!! The experience could not have been better!! Karen, Tony and the whole crew were great! They were always on time, very professional at the best price. I got five estimates and I am so glad we went with Eastern Kitchen. Nothing was ever a problem with them. We had to delay some of the work due to a hard to find water leak in the bathroom. They worked around our schedule at our convenience. Always pleasant and cleaned up the work areas and removed all debris. I would only use Eastern for any future projects!
Description of Work: Removed old counter tops and installed granite in the kitchen and one bathroom. Also installed new sinks and matching granite window sills.

 + 0 moreThe office manager, Karen, was cooperative and helpful in assisting us to select our preferred style of cabinets and she also offered a selection of potential granite slabs in our price range. After pre-payment of one-half the cost of the remodeling project was made, the dates of installation were mutually decided upon. The remodeling work was done in the manner described above. Once the project was completed, we paid the remaining one-half of the total project cost. Everything went smoothly and according to plan.
Description of Work: This company replaced the existing kitchen cabinetry and countertops with new pre-manufactured cabinetry and new granite countertops. In the initial phase, the company sent out an estimator to determine the scope of the project and calculate a cost estimate. The actual remodeling phase took three days in all with two days of actual work on site and a one-day interval between the two days of work that was used to cut the granite countertops to size at another location. The first day involved removal and replacement of the existing cabinetry and the second day was devoted to installing the granite countertops. All of the work was accomplished with considerable efficiency and quality craftsmanship. We are quite pleased with the results.

 + 0 moreLet me start off by saying that the cabinets, the granite, and the handles all look great. However, the staff was consistently late to every appointment. And, when I say late, I mean at least 30 minutes to an hour, if not more. So, when they tell you that they'll be there at 10:00, don't expect them to show up until about noon. Additionally, today will be their second time back after the installation to finish/repair mistakes/issues with the cabinets. They are good overall, just expect it to take some time!

 + 0 moreI called Eastern Kitchen to get an estimate and Tony was able to come out the same day. He was quick and confident he could install granite without any seams. After I picked the granite slabs, I met with Karen to sign the contract and make the initial payment. She scheduled me for about two weeks out, as they were swamped. A few days later, she called and said they received the slabs if I wanted to take a look and also that they would be able to install the granite a week earlier than anticipated. They arrived that day (4/5/12) and everything looked really good. The installation took longer than expected, but it was flawless. Tony and his partner did an amazing job. The granite is perfect, there are no seams, and we are incredibly happy with it. I would definitely recommend their work and refer anyone to them.

 + 1 moreI received a very competitive bid from Karen and contracted work. Tony and one crew did the measurements and I asked how long until I could get the installation and he said two days! There is a slight language barrier working with Eastern Kitchen, so I asked if he really meant two weeks, but no 2 days it was! The job was flawless. They only had one seam in the entire kitchen, and you had to look very hard to see it. I have already recommended them to my realtor. Absolutely no problems.

 + 2 moreThis company said they would send someone out to bid on the contract twice, and no one ever showed up. the contract went to another. they were very unprofessional on the phone and were no show.
Description of Work: I needed a bid on a remodel on a kitchen, and then second call was for work on a bathroom. in neither case did the company show up to see what I needed or to bid. even after saying someone would contact me.
