Service man was nice and friendly--- price was about what we expected-- bearing out on motor and needed a new motor, and with Angies list discount it was fine. We would use them again, although we hope we don't need them again for quite sometime! :)

Description of Work: The old air conditioner needed to be replaced. The estimate was fair and the work was well done and on time. When the job was finished, everything was clean and moved things were put back. They also repaired some duct work and it has made a difference in the electric bill. This company is very professional and stands by their work. I had a clean effects air purifier installed with the old system and when it needed cleaning, a technician was sent at no charge. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Description of Work: We contracted with Durham and Sons Inc to replace our central a/c and gas furnace system. The contract spelled out everything to be done. Work was performed exactly as outlined in the contract. Workers were proficient, neat, helpful and courteous. We were kept informed about all phases of their work. Two window air conditioners were supplied to keep our home comfortable during the installation time of 3 days. The workers were especially careful about the installation of a French drain in a flower planting area. Each day all debris was cleared. Workers were careful to complete each part of the job thoroughly - they even removed the filters which would no longer be used from our vents. The entire job was well-planned - there was no running back and forth for parts or tools.

Description of Work: Checked central air even looked at an exposed wire,John the technician was wonderful. I am having them back for some electrical work. The Technician drove 40 minutes to keep this appointment and arrived on time!

Description of Work: They came to trouble shoot the problem and told me I had to hire an electrician to fix the problem and charged me just to come and look. They did not apply the coupon to the price of the call. They wanted to charge me for a second service call to send an electrician to fix the problem. I call that double dipping. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: I was experiencing flicker of lights in some rooms. I called and set an appointment for the next day with Jerry. I took him about 5 minutes to diagnose the problem as a bad main breaker. Within the hour the manager for his supplier was out to precisely identify model breaker number. It was ordered and in within 36 hours.
