Durham & Sons put in my last HVAC system over 12 ears ago and I've had a service contract with them. Recently a $2000 part went and I verified that replacing it was not a good investment given the system's age. They took the time to explain options in detail. As luck would have it, the pandemic and factory issues made finding the desired replacement units a real challenge. But these guys really stepped up to the challenge. Besides temporarily installing 4 window units to hold us over, they were creative and persistent and found what was needed. Their crew did impeccable work taking out the old system and replacing it, really going above & beyond. This is a family owned company with high standards and they can be trusted to steer you right and be 100% professional.

The technician, Tommy, is an asset to this company. Price, competence, and professionalism is top-notch.

After the tech left we noticed water dripping under the inside unit. I called and they sent out the same tech who indicated that the drain had air in it causing water to back up. The next day water was still coming out and soaked the brand new filter. They sent a different tech who found a crack in the coil pan, which was only 6 months old being replaced by Durham. He patched the crack with epoxy and assured me that it was fine. The first tech caused the crack, I expected the pan to be replaced not patched.

Especially now that it's August and the humidity has been extremely high for weeks, I can tell the difference in having this wonderful new system that Durham installed. The humidity control far exceeded my expectations. Though the system wasn't cheap (for me), it was compatible with other fully installed units out there, and I'm glad I made this investment. If you want to keep your electric bill costs down, replace ducting (this alone cut my bills by an average of $60/month), install more insulation, and get a new energy efficient unit. The humidity feature will use more energy, but with the more efficient system I'm not paying any more in monthly bills than I did before the humidity control feature. Believe me, the humidity control makes a BIG difference. You also want to look at the quality of the install - Durham is fantastic. They are efficient, professional, and provide substitute window units while the upgrades are happening. I will also say, their annual service agreement is well worth it too.

Perfect. Jackie scheduled my problem quickly and Clayton came and changed the filter and unclogged the condensate line. I've dealt with Durham and Sons for over 15 years and they have never let me down. Clayton always has a smile and is a pleasure to deal with. They are fair and provide a great service. Thank you!

System worked for approximately two years. When it failed, Durham refused to honor their warranty.

RJ was very thorough in educating us on the specifics of how they would replace the ductwork, the testing that they would do after installation, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. The new A/C unit is a Trane and it works great! Their installers were very hardworking and professional. Having a family member on site each day checking on the project instilled confidence that what had been done in the attic had been done correctly. We're customers for life!

We purchased a new HVAC system from Durham and Sons for an unusual house. They offered thoughtful solutions the previous installation failed to address. From quoting to finished installation, we cannot sing praises strong enough of RJ and his crew. Great people to work with, from office staff to installers. They were up front on costs and potential problems with this type of project. Showed up when they said they would and got the job done. Very happy with new electrical panel. Highly recommend this company.

We were in the market for a Mitsubishi Split air or Ductless AC system to handle a couple of room additions so I looked up all the Mitsubishi Diamond dealers and had a number of bids which came in all over the map with a lot of questions to be answered and a whole bunch of prices and I was getting confused as the dealers didn't return calls to answer my questions. Then I call RJ at Durham's and they were Johnny on the spot. RJ came out to the house to give me a bid with a bunch of options and discussed everything in detail. Needless to say RJ was selected and it was a relaxed installation by his 2 techs Riley and Matt. They were on the job early in the morning and the installation was completed in 2 days without any hitches . Everyone at the office was great to deal with. Great. I have gone with Durhan and Sons for several years because of their quality, professionalism, and courteousness. My new Trane 18 SEER AC system is awesome. It is very quiet (we often can't even tell it is running), the air in our home actually feels cleaner (we had a REME air cleaner installed), and best of all we are saving a significant amount on our monthly electric bill.

Durham and Sons replaced our 14 year old 3-ton with new Trane 4-ton about 6 months ago. No problems with the system so far. Very glad we increased to 4-ton, which required an extra return but allows us to cool of the house down very quickly if needed, also seems to run less. Our power bills have dropped almost 50% and we keep the house 1 degree cooler than we used to. Durham also upgraded our aging duct work for a moderate fee and did a good job. We also got the whole house surge protection offered. Rating for cost and service, Durham was over $1k cheaper than our next offer, can’t be more thankful for that. Service was very good, you get a video beforehand of what they’re going to do and they did what they said. Installers were friendly and informative and did a very good job, and for $1k less I was watching. Never saw someone from the family but we live pretty far away from Melbourne and communication was always open and responsive. Highly recommended.

The entire process from the quote until inspection after the work was completed was professional, thorough, and smooth. Durham and Sons are fabulous! Everything they quoted was exactly what they did. They even supplied window A/C units to keep us cool until the installation was complete, as well as a generator for the times they had to shut down the power! They stayed in touch and answered all questions promptly. They installed our last unit which lasted 20 years beachside. We will always be their customer!

The A/C failed in the middle of the night. I called Durham & Son in the morning and got a 12-3 appointment . Clayton arrived a little before 2pm and identified the problem quickly. It was less severe than I thought and cost less to fix. He had the unit up and cooling quickly and verified everything was fine before leaving. Great service! I will be using them as my A/C service company from now on.
