Description of Work: Durham & Sons just completed 2 jobs for me. These jobs were to replace my central a/c & heat unit and air handler. (2-Different condos) The price quoted was the price I paid, they did the job in a timely manor and I did not have any problems. I have used this company since 2005 and have had excellent service from them.

Description of Work: My A/C went out at the end of June. Called Durham and they sent someone out that afternoon. As a new customer I was impressed given the demand for their services on that very hot day! Their technician, Greg, came out, identified the problem (electrical) and had my A/C up and running in no time. He was polite and knowledgeable and very professional. I was impressed enough to sign up for a service agreement with Durham; these folks really have it together!

Description of Work: Durham and Sons replaced our old AC with a new Trane AC. They were excellent in learning about all our needs and following through with installing exactly what we needed. Their office staff is excellent and the installers were really thorough in ensuring we were 100% satisfied. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again if the need arises.

Description of Work: I didn't get in touch with the people you have listed on this notice. Are called Durham and Sons about doing a small electrical job. It was to install a new outlet and check an old outlet. Both very easy to do, I could have done it myself but I had a foot operation and unable to do this myself now. They advised it would be $89 dollars to come out and look at the job. I asked and estimate and someone was to call me back the next morning. That was a week and a half ago, I haven't heard from them yet. I see no advantage to using your List when you're treated in this manner. I wouldn't use them again or even call him for anything. I'll do the work myself when I feel a little better |

 + 0 moreI cannot praise this company enough for all they did for us. They tarpped all working areas in our home, worked cleanly and with perfection in all they did. Also there were minor hazards that were not up to code in our 1975 house. Such as hot water flus not installed properly, sprinkler box wiring not up to code, strengthening the attic floors for the work that was to be. RJ and his company went way above and beyond what anyone would expect from an A/C installation. RJ himself conducted 2 complete inspections of the work before the city inspector came. RJ's eye for complete perfection in the work being done was amazing. I look froward to the many years of being this companies customer as the whole experience with Durham & Sons was exceptional.
Description of Work: Complete whole house installation of new air conditioning system, air handler, new built air box, duct work, all new drains, electrical wiring, and new unit outside. This only begins to tell the real story of the excellence and professionalism of this company. Our air had quit 3 days earlier and the moment we signed on with Durham & Sons they tried to repair the old unit to get us some air when that failed RJ went to TRANE and secured us a loaner unit, then splicing the loaner into our old unit, got the air working until the install date. Before the work ever took place they spent endless hours, with at times 7 men, to be sure we were not without air until the install.

Although his prices were a little higher than the other estimates we received, we could tell that Durham & Sons were going to do the most complete job. The office staff was friendly and courteous when we called to schedule the job. The technicians that did all the work were awesome; worked very hard, were very personable, and made sure that we understood exactly what they were doing and why. They cleaned up everything each day and seemed to go above and beyond when it came to fixing the problems from the old system; water damage, inconsistent insulation, and patching the wall where the old system was attached. We are very happy with our new air conditioner and the work that Durham and Sons performed.
Description of Work: Completely replaced our air conditioning system; took out the old system, rebuilt/repaired the wall where the old system had been and had damaged the wall, replaced the old furnace/AC in the garage and the part outside, too.
