From my very first meeting with RJ Durham, the owner of Durham & Sons, I felt that I would probably use this company to replace the AC system in my home. I am so glad that I chose them. From the excellent communication skills of Dawna to the professional manner and work ethic of Clayton and Jan Michael, I new that I had chosen the right company. The job took three days and the installers were here on time everyday and ready to work. Also during the job, numerous technicians and supervisors arrived to ensure that every aspect of the job ran smoothly. RJ, the owner, was also at the job twice during the three days of work. The new Trane system has been up and running for two weeks now and I could not be more satisfied. Durham and Sons is a very competent and professional company and I highly recommend them for your heating and air conditioning needs. Thank you to all the employees of this friendly and professional family owned and operated company.

I got their service through Angie’s List and they were very good. Their customer service was excellent. There is nothing I disliked. I was impressed. I interviewed seven different air conditioning contractors before I chose Durham and Sons and they were far in quality and service was just outstanding. The price was comparable to other contractors I was getting a bid from. They were on-time.

I can't provide a more positive review of D&S. From Tyler and the members of the install team, to Dawna and the owner himself. Nothing short of professionalism and quick and accurate answers to all of my questions and concerns. Tyler offered a very detailed approach to corrosion mitigation and met or exceeded all of the requested deliverables I asked for. Tyler and the D&S team really went the extra mile for us and I would highly recommend them to anyone fortunate enough to have AC problems with this company in the area! The installation came with included permit preparation and City coordination that saved me time and energy. The installation also coordinated all paper work with FPL and the manufacturers to ensure we get rebates and credits deducted from the overall price UP FRONT. Very very fortunate to have worked with such a great company. I wish them continued success and look forward to working with them again in the future.

Very impressed with the way this went, from start to finish. The survey of the existing system was comprehensive, as was the measuring of the various air flow requirements for each room of our home. He sat at my kitchen table and did the computations for three different proposals on the different systems he recommended for our particular application. We evaluated each one based on cost/benefits of each. Once we made our decision, a firm start/finish dates were established. The same crew spent all three days of the project; dismantling/removing the old system on day one, installing the new air handler and compressor units on day two and finishing up the system and duct work on day three. They were professional, knowledgeable and courteous throughout. Mr. Durham visited the job each day to make sure it was going as expected. His people were responsive to needs and questions; they were very helpful throughout. It's been three months since the installation of our new system, and we are very happy with it. We are saving on energy costs already, and anticipate even more in the coming months. I will be adding zoned controls later in the year, and Durham and Sons will be the contractor of choice. Can't say enough good things about these guys. Professionals, all the way!

It was easy to deal with Durham by phone and by email. Quick responsiveness relative to free estimate. Accomplished the work on the date I requested. All work was professionally done. I would recommend them without question.

Overall very well. During the estimation phase RJ was really helpful, advising to go with a cost effective system, but not something I wanted, due to long term projects I have for our house. I already did my homework, and decided on the general system I wanted, and when all was done RJ's bid was lower than other comparable systems (from lower rated manufacturers). Their office was extremely helpful with guiding us through the financing process (0% for 24 months - why use your funds, with a deal like that?) The install team was prompt, showing up at the designated times and we had little reason to feel uncomfortable leaving them to do the work tasked. Unfortunately, one of the issues I listed as a work item (repair the supply plenum) was ignored for some reason, requiring me to call them out, which they promptly responded and fixed the next day. I would definitely recommend them again, or use them for any services I might need in the future.

Excellent! Timing is everything in this type of project. Permitting, FPL shutoff, Work performed, county inspection, and FPL restoration of power went like clockwork.

They did a very detailed assessment of the HVAC unit and were very professional, knowledgeable, and offered some great advice as well.

Josh and Tyler did the installation, and were very professional and knowledgable. They answered all my questions and completed the job well within the estimated time. Lisa and Dawna from the office contacted me several times to keep me updated on things. The finished product looks 1000% better than the original install when the house was built. Very nicely done, and I highly recommend Durham and Sons for any HVAC issue.

Tech arrived within 10 minutes of my initial call to request an appointment . The dispatcher said there was a tech in the area and she would notify him. She also went ahead and called my wife who was at home to inform her. The tech showed up promptly and was very professional in demeanor .The wife was pleased with the visit. Will definitely use them again.

If there was a problem, they would come back to work on it. They did everything to rectify situation which was not quite right. They were very professional and courteous. Their pricing was competitive too.

We liked everything about them and got a recommendation from our neighbor. I confirmed it on Angie's List. They were here when they said they would be and they were great. I have no complaints at all. The quality of the work is 100-percent; it is great. It was a top quality job and my husband was real happy with everything. We got a state of the art thermostat with wifi. They took us all the way through a tutorial on it and they were real good. We were real happy with them. Their price was competitive.

We are a church. All the care done was performed with excellence. Even the numerous phone calls and emails exchanged were done with such efficiency and compassion that we will no doubt use them again.

Vince showed up within 15 minutes of the scheduled service time. I received a call, as I had requested, prior to the service as well. Vince was EXTREMELY professional and friendly. He completed the job within a half hour, made certain that there wasn't anything else he could assist with, then wrote up the bill. The price was very fair and exactly as advertised when I had called to schedule the initial appointment. Should I require additional service from an electrician, I will definitely return to Durham and Sons, Inc and request Vince.

We left a message over the weekend, received a call back promptly on Monday A.M. Paul arrived by mid-morning and diagnosed the problem, ran back to the office to pick up the needed part, returned and installed new parts, tested the system and had everything running by around noon. I would call them again and would highly recommend them to others.

Everything went very well, start to finish. RJ came out and gave us the options for available units. Mr Durham himself came out and did the measurements for the heat load calculations. I got multiple estimates, but selected Durham and Sons for the job and am very happy with the result. They are not the least expensive, but considering the quality of the installation, performance of the system they put in, and excellent follow-up service, they definitely provide the best value for the price. During the installation, the crew called from the shop each morning to tell us they were on the way out. Each person introduced themself and explained what they were doing. Installation was professional and top quality, with attention to detail obvious in every step. Follow-up after the installation was also great, Bottom line: I am satisfied and very pleased with the entire interaction and product.

I was given several quotes to choose from in order to best suite my needs. All company employees were courteous, professional & punctual. Work was completed as promised, on time, at the price quoted, and with minimal noise and inconvenience during the installation process. I have already saved $332 in 5 months on my electric bill (compared to last year) since the new system was installed, and the temperature in my home does not fluctuate like it used to. I could not be happier! UPDATE - I have had my new system for over a year now, and received my free 1 year check up. I have saved $676 in the past 12 months on my electric bills. Still a happy camper!

They are excellent. If I ever thought there was any problem, they would be over in a heart beat; no question. They will go out of their way to help you and figure out the best cost of service.

Three days ago E-mailed Durham & Suns Inc. for an estimate to install a whole house surge protector. I had used their service one other time. Called me by phone two hours later. Made apt. for today Friday 09:00 AM. Vince arrived at 8:50 ready to go. Looked over my panel and surge protector, explained the process and what my surge proctor will do, quoted a cost and I gave the OK to install. Approximately thirty minuets later Vince was done it was extremely coast effect as I canvased three other companies prior. Vince was knowledgeable, professional and provided a five star customer service experience.

They are so professional and are so pleasant. They had been in the area a long time and a friend of mine had used them for about 30 years. We made an emergency call when the air just quit on us. Although he really didn't want to come out being after hours, he was able to with an extra after hours fee. Even the girls in the office were really good at reminding me when they got here.

Durham gave a thorough and detailed evaluation . Then provided a professional presentation. Installation was preformed quickly and well. Clean up was conscientious. I am happy with the work and feel confident that Durham & Sons will provide any support I may need in the future.

We were not sure why our air conditioner was not cooling as well as it was in past months. The Durham employee who came was focused and professional and checked everything methodically. He had three concrete suggestions for us that, when we implemented them, made all the difference in the world. You'd think we bought a new air conditioner. After seeing all the news reports about air conditioner men that rip you off, we were delighted to find Durham. We'll use them for anything having to do with air conditioners in the future.
