The house is a rental and the tenant was getting shocked each time they touched anything metal in the house! He discovered an unbalanced load coming into the house from a recently installed FPL transformer. FPL came out, confirmed the issue, and called in a truck to fix the transformer and rebalance the home. The story is strange, true, and now resolved!

Mark called me ASAP. I was actually quite surprised to receive such an expedient call. Although it was 10PM, clearly I was up, and so was he. Mark was able to successful diagnose the problem with my door bell over the phone and replaced the outside button the same day. It was a simple fix, but another contractor thought it was the transformer and possibly the plunger assembly inside the house which could have added needless costs to the repair.
