Mark called almost as soon as I got off the website. Very accommodating. Was here when he said-called w/a delay but was only delayed maybe a half hour. I kept remembering projects I had been postponing. He did them all-price was great for all I had him do. I will call him for other projects.

He arrived when he said he would. One of the things that impressed me was when he opened his trailer and I saw everything was organized and labeled. That told me he had attention to detail. He was extremely friendly and we spoke about another electrical project I have in mind. I am definitely going to use him on that project.

He arrived an hour after we first called while several other companies told me it would be a week out.... I really hate waiting a week for something you want done yesterday!

I hired Mark Deering right before Christmas to relocate several switches and receptacles in the bathroom, dining room and kitchen when I was remodeling and replacing kitchen cabinets in my rental house while it was empty. Since I didn't have cabinets in the kitchen the switch and 4 receptacles were not hooked up and he was to come back after the cabinets were put in to do this and install lights under the cabinets as stated on his invoice "DUE TO COME BACK AND INSTALL LIGHTS UNDER THE CABINETS". I installed the cabinets in March and called him to come back and hook this up. After some discussion which he didn't remember some details such as whether he was to supply the lights and I told him no that I them. He then said that I did not pay him enough to install the lights under the cabinets which I told him it is stated on his invoice which he apparently had no copy. I told him that i paid him $600. cash for 4 hours of work which amounts to $150 an hour when most electricians charge $95 the first hour for 2 guys and $75 thereafter. He told me he didn't work by the hour that he worked by the job. He was to call me and schedule to come back but since I didn't hear from him, I called on April 2nd and left a message and he called back on April 7th and said that he would call me on the 8th or 9th to come by which is on his way home. Since he didn't call me, I called him on April 10th left another message and asked if he was going to come back. He called me on the 14th and told me he would call and come by the next day, I never heard from him again. With this guys attitude I didn't want to deal with him any longer so I called another electrician who hooked every thing up which took about 1/2 hour and charged $50. When he relocated the receptacle in the bathroom he didn't put in or recommend to me a GFI receptacle which is required by code. If you must hire this guy make sure you get his price by the hour and not by the job. Most people think that a guy who works out of his truck would give you a better price than one who has a regular place of business, With his attitude I think many of his reviews are done by him or his friends because all you need are different email addresses to do them. There are too many of electricians out there,hire someone else, his word or even his written contract means nothing.

The electrician was very good. He was in and out within an hour. He knew what the problem was and repaired it right away. He did a good job.

Once I was able to establish contact and set up an installation date, it was a great experience.

Prompt, excellent and efficient service. Mark Deering went 'above and beyond the call of duty' to diagnose and fix the problems with the outdoor GFI outlets and the peculiar indoor outlet wiring. That makes Deering Electric my 'electrician of choice' for all future electrical problems at this house.

I did not expect such speedy service, but within an hour of my initial contact with Home Advisor, Mark Deering was at my door! I think my call for help was timed perfectly in that he was already headed in my direction and with a little re-scheduling (with client's approval) was able to get to me quickly. I thought I would have to wait at least 24-48 hours for service, so I was very pleased with the response time. Great experience - Mark was very knowledgeable and worked quickly to get my outside outlets repaired. I will definitely call him again if necessary.

Worked quickly and was very organized. Price was within the range expected. I had many items that he worked on, and he definitely knew what he was doingl I will call him again if I need an electrician.

I posted the request Friday night quite late. they called within 10 minutes and gave an over the phone estimate. Not the cheapest, but close to it! They arrived as promised Saturday, did the work quickly, under budget. I have hired them for a separate project. HIGHLY recomend!

I had some issues with a new home where the GFI had blown and some light switches were not working. Deering came out and in less than an hour fixed a few things and even helped on a task I was working on to help me complete that before he left! Mark is a great guy. Communicates, shows up on time and does the job right. I would have no problem hiring him again or referring him to anyone else who was in need of an experienced electrician.

Installed two outdoor fans on my patio. Work was done quickly and to my complete satisfaction. I'd highly recommend Deering Electric. Fair and honest electrical service.

Mark responded to my inquiry within 1/2 hour and scheduled an estimate for that same evening. He arrived at my home. We decided to have him do the job and he told us he was on his way home but if we wanted he could do it then! He did the job and we are VERY pleased with Mark and with his work! We have more electrical work and will be calling him again for sure!

About 30 seconds after I hit the Submit button for Home Advisor to have Deering Electric contact me, my phone rang and Mark Deering was on the line. He happened to be near my home and offered to come right over. He was there in ten minutes, looked over the situation, evaluated it exactly as my trusted handyman had done (who had said I needed a licensed electrician), and offered to do the work immediately. Two hours later the work was beautifully done. Mark Deering is honest, efficient, and hard-working. Home Advisor is a valuable resource. I will use both in the future. Thank you.
