Terrible experience. We were having issues with our old metal duct work sweating so we wanted it all replaced. They replaced only 80 percent of the ductwork, leaving a foot or two of old, uninsulated metal ductwork at the vent ends. They did this to half the vents! One vent had to closed off because it would sweat so bad, three others drip. We filed a claim on BBB and they shrugged it off and seems they are no longer BBB accredited, with no record of my complaint. Their excuse was that the A/C unit is too big for the house. They DID NOT replace all the ducting. That was the job. I also came home early from work to find them installing a lower R-Value product ducting than what we paid for. Stay away from this company.

Tech came out and found the problem immediately. Very fair price and up and in record time. These guys rock!!!!

I have been using them for multiple years, probably 10 years. What I like most about them is that they are very thorough and extremely affordable. It is very easy to schedule them to come out.

It went perfectly. They made the job go very quickly from start to finish. Everything was the way it was supposed to be, very accurate.

I was not happy with the quality of their work. The only reason we used them was because we found them at Home Depot but now they're using somebody else. I had them put a new unit in and added the duct work. I called them back and said I put vents in for a new room over the garage, that we specifically had this new unit re-ducted for. I said I've got 2 in and 1 out in that room and the temperature of that room is still not what it should be. It is hot and not cooling. Isn't there something you can do? And their comment was no, it is what it is. I thought they would try to find out why with all this new duct work in this room wasn't cooling like it should, but they didn't. If I hire somebody, and at least they try to find a solution to my problem, then I give them credit for trying. These guys didn't even try.

So far, not so good. I had the system installed in February. I have had Deck-Aire back a few times but the main problem still exists. The unit runs on high most of the time. Thermostat is set between 76-78 and the thermostat will hang at 81-83 during the day. I have had no issues with my supply vents until this Trane unit has been installed. Now I have moisture dripping from the vent. You would think they would be concerned of mold starting to grow with this moisture. Have been trying to get them out here for a month to fix. They were supposed to show on June 26 and of course they were a no show with no phone call. They expect you to work around their schedule and instead of phone calls, they send an email with a date instead of a phone call. I usually end up calling only to have messages taken and another email comes to my inbox. One of the visits, they said the hole for my intake needs to be larger. Worker comes (in a bad mood that day) makes the hole bigger and then carelessly mastics the grate to the wall. I will never get the grate off. When I called about the dining room vent, it turned out that the guy who ran the wire for the thermostat must have kicked it loose. Now I have another vent that is dripping water and they take their time to come repair. I have used Deck-Aire for years and always had great service. Now they have other people managing the office and the service has gone downhill. I have had them install five units for me. This last one is a dud and I can't get it resolved. Probably last time I will use Deck-Aire.

Excellent-not only did he clean the drain but he put in a "T" so I could keep it maintenance.

Great service and lowest cost. I compared against 3 other quotes. Dave provided the lowest cost. Installation was done on time as scheduled. I was disappointed that the enclosure for the 5" media filter was a metal box versus the high quality composite enclosure for the rest of the air handler. I expected Trane to have provided this option with a composite enclosure.

The installed a large unit for us, then they came back to work on a smaller unit. Fix worked for a week then crapped out. Came out and the fuse had jarred loose on the unit they had just fixed. $150 charge to plug it back in. Come on. Then the tech comes out today to work on the unit under warranty. Wasn't that unit. Charged us a 100 to show up and look at it. Tech reeked of booze. Don't know if he was hungover or drunk. Stay away from these guys. Called the office manager who didn't really seem to care. .....someone responded that "we aren't their customer and they want the review taken down." If you would like to see invoices with our address and work performed on it I would be happy to post. They also came out again yesterday to add a GFI to our unit they installed 5 months ago so it could finally pass inspection. Really thorough there guys. Like I said, if you would like bills as proof that they did work for us, i would be happy to post pictures.

He didn't mind me watching and asking questions about pump pressure and other things. The previous company had overfilled it and had to bleed off some on a second visit. He was friendly and understanding that I wanted to be informed because of my previous bad experience with the other company.

They are easy, I call them, and they come out right away. I haven't had any negative issues, it has always been positive. I have used them for about 3 years. I used one before and did not have a good experience. They came out on a Saturday, and even gave us a loaner window AC to use while we waited for the part ordered. They are awesome.

Very professional, neat work and clean-up. A little mix-up with the uv light inside was quickly remedied. Works like a dream, quiet, comfortable. Electrical bill has dropped.

OK, no Freon R22 needed. Seemed to be ready to go for the Summer of 2014 This lasted until approx. October of 2014, at which time our A/C stopped cooling properly. Another call to Deck Aire resulted in quite a large bill for Freon and Labor, NOTE": I did NOT hire Deck Aire in October THROUGH Angie's List.

Chuck was my service technician. He was very knowledgeable and polite. He helped me to diagnose the loud noise that my A/C condenser was making. Chuck let me know the next step would be to replace the coils inside the unit. There was no pressure to purchase an entire new system, which was my concern. Chuck answered all my questions and tried several different things to troubleshoot the problem. If the compressor turn out to be shot, I will be using Deck-Aire to install a new system.

My home had two Tempstar Heat Pump systems from the builder. The systems were 10 years old and slowly dying. I did not want to spend more money on repairs, so it was time to invest in new heat pumps. After researching different brands, my top choices were Trane and American Standard, which are owned by the same parent company and share common components. These brands had top ratings for reliability on Consumer Reports. I also wanted a 2-stage compressor for the main system for improved humidity control and temperature regulation. I used Angies List to identify several installation companies with good ratings, and received quotes from 3 vendors. I selected Deckaire for several reasons: Value: I wanted a premium brand and knew it would have greater cost. Deckaire?s proposal provided better equipment for lower prices compared to the other vendors. I did a side-by-side comparison with the other vendors and Deckaire had them beat. Deckaire?s quote was 30% less than one of the other vendors! Thoroughness: The owner of Deckaire, Dave Decker, spent an hour inspecting my home before providing the quote. He even inspected the ductwork in the attic on a hot afternoon in July. His quote was very detailed and identified specific model numbers and installation details. He listened to my requirements and provided a menu of options so I could compare features vs costs. I had confidence in the proposal. Installation for the 2 heat pump systems required 2 days. It was a complete replacement of the existing systems that included the condenser, air handler, thermostat, copper lines, control lines and drain lines (everything except ductwork). The main air handler was larger than the existing unit and required carpentry work to fit. They also reconfigured the main duct distribution box to improve circulation. The installation team was courteous and professional, and they accommodated some special requests. For example, I had previous issues (leaks) with the copper lines in the underground conduit and requested re-routing the new copper lines through the attic. No problem. They also installed a paintable cover over the copper lines running up the exterior wall. The team worked into the early evening on each day to ensure we had a functional systems for nighttime. This was a big investment and I feel Deckaire provided great value. I will continue to us Deckaire for future services.

I was especially pleased with the loaner a/c unit. They were very pleasant. Prompt. Efficient.

The job was done on time, the price quoted was accurate and the tenants have had no problems with the ac since. Recommend without hesistation.

We bought this house two years ago, and it was supposed to have had "brand new" AC units, but they had never functioned properly. Always freezing up, losing coolant, etc. I had another local company come out last year to repair them. $500 later, the problems persisted. I called Deck-Aire because both units were freezing up again. They found the problem in the coils, but the parts were on back order. They loaned me three window units, the technician even installed them for me. When the parts came in a few days later, they repaired the units and sent the bill to the manufacturer under the factory warranty that I didn't even know existed. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to all of my friends and family.

I bought a "deal" for a service call. I was able to immediately use it when I discovered the AC wasn't blowing any air. I had never used this company and I still can't believe the service they provided. I called early in the day, a service person came over within an hour. He figured out the problem was a broken blower motor. Now it was noon time. By 5:00 that afternoon they had located the part and installed it. All the time being aware of cost. Very reasonable. The staff and service person were a delight to work with, friendly, competent and professional. I had full confidence in the service person. In the past I have had AC people out here who were so uncertain about the problem, etc that I was always worried they could do the job. At times that worry was warranted. I can't say enough positive things about Deck-Aire. I bought my AC from Able Air and I had so many problems from the beginning. Not happy with how problems were resolved. Eventually lost confidence in them. Happy I found Deck-Aire.
