Dave McCoy Electric Inc

Dave came out and gave me a free estimate a few days prior and told what the work would entail. It was a trickier job than I thought because of where I wanted the lights installed, and he explained this to me. He did a great job, cleaned up, and all went well. I would recommend him.

This is a combination of two service calls about 8 months apart. I am not going to bore you with lots of words. Dave did great work, was professional in every way, punctual, and charged very fair prices. Highly recommended.

Reliable, courteous, and the price was less then expected. I will always use him in my upcoming electrical needs.

Excelent ... came at noon -- arrived early ... went right to work .. checked all 6 outlets .. fixed it and all is functional. My wife will definitely use Dave again.

Dave did a great job. He was prompt, courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. He found the problem very quickly. He was careful to explain the circuit and the problem to me. It was a bad pump motor at the hot tub, which I replaced myself. I would definitely use Dave in the future and highly recommend his service.

The service call went well with Dave showing up early. I had replaced this breaker before and needed a professional look at the problem. Dave did a great job and explained what had happened for the break to burn out again. Dave was very courteous and very professional. I will be calling him again for my future electrical needs.

Dave was great. He brought the right part to replace the circuit braker, and did the work very quiickly. I then asked him if he could install a switch for my dock lift. He said he could and had the parts. He also did that very quickly. Everything worked perfectly, and I thought he charged a reasonable price. He was very professional and friendly. I was very pleased.

We have used Dave for many years and he is a very qualified electrician. However, the motor he got wasn't really the right one and he "modified it" and didn't tell us. We later discovered that the modification failed and the motor had fallen into the blades and the motor was heating up. We had to replace the motor ourselves with the correct one. Dave is moody and is sometimes personable and at other times down right rude. He doesn't work well with women and often does things his way without listening and has had to come back to redo. This happened on this project when he moved electrical to a place he decided instead of where we asked and he had to come back...and he charged us for the return visit.

He came on time, and went to work. I had to go to doctor and wound up staying overnight. When I returned next day, all was AOK. Problems fixed. New high-quality American-made box installed and working.

Dave was very prompt and professional from start to finish,I would highly recommend his services to anyone needing electrical service.New panel was made in the U.S.A. ,he also gets points for that in my book .

This last visit was only $99 but I have had him at my home twice before. Those were $250 apiece. It couldn’t have gone better. He’s a great guy and the only electrician I will ever need to hire.

This is the second time I have used Dave McCoy Electric. As always, he was punctual, efficient, and knowledgeable.

I phoned Mr. McCoy on a Friday and he came the following Wednesday. This was not an emergency. He arrived promptly, was personable, cleaned up his mess and did fine work. I know he was extremely warm as he was working in our garage - I felt badly about that.. I would have Mr. McCoy do my electrical work every time.

I called Mr. McCoy to fix recent problems that my former contractor had created! Mr. Mcoy was great. He was punctual and very knowledgeable. We had recently bought a new home and knew of a couple of problems; however, he found and fixed more issues that we hadn't realized existed. We will definitely use Mr. McCoy again in the future.

I found him on Angie's List. He was very pleasant on the phone and came right over. He told me that he usually works south of the area and so I was really too far north out of his territory, but he came even though it was out of his territory because it was an air conditioning situation and he didn't want me to be without it. That was lovely and I told him that I would give him a good review on Angie's List. I am not in his territory but I can recommend him to others in the Melbourne area.

I did not call a number of companies for the quotes and I only used them. Since, I did not shop around or call around, I don't have anything to compare their price to. I found him on Angie's List. Mr. Dave McCoy was nice and he was the best. I had used him before as well to hook up my washer. He also ran the power from the outside breaker box to the washer hook-up. He estimated $450 but charged me only $250 because it was less work. He was honest. He was super friendly. We had a lot of things in common. We spoke about the old days back in the 70’s when we were both in the army. He was a year older than I was. I liked him. So, I called him back to install my new microwave. It was a very involving job but he charged me $140 for two hours which was reasonable to me. I will definitely use him again in the future as he was the best of all of the companies that I have used.

All work was done very efficienlty and professionally. Work was completed sooner than expected.

On a Friday night I had a strong odor of an electrical short and lost power in 1 room. I found Dave on Angies List and noticed he worked weekends. I called, left a message, and he responded back within 15 minutes. We set up a time on Saturday morning. Dave showed up right on time. Because this is a 30 year old breaker box, I feared the whole thing may have to be replaced. Dave opened it up and found the problem, promptly repaired it, and even fully inspected all the connections and breakers. He charged his standard service rate of $99 instead of a higher "weekend" rate I know that some others charge.

Arrived on time. Went to work and stopped when finished. Cost $50.00 more than estimated.

Dave arrived promptly at the scheduled time. I showed him the work that needed to be done. He quickly set to work; completing the work efficiently and cleanly in a very short time. I would highly recommend this company for all of your electrical needs.
