Dave's Plumbing & Drain Cleaning

Discovered leak under my elderly Mom's kitchen sink on Sunday. Since it wasn't critical, called 1st thing Monday morning. The answering service took message and Dave called back promptly. He set up appointment time early afternoon same day and called 15 minutes before to say he was on his way. This way I could leave work and be at Mom's to discuss situation. He and his assistant determined pin hole in line was problem and corrected. Discussed with him pros/cons of old reverse osmosis filtration system under sink, which they ended up removing per request. They also checked out leak in master bath from deteriorating wash basin, which is still serviceable and made suggestions about what to do if remodel of vanity is made. Appreciated his input. Polite and professional. They left site clean.

Arrived on time checked out job installed next day. I will never use any one else very good at there job go the extra way yo complet work. Easy to contact called office crew called back within 30 min. I fully trust them for any and all work

I had used Dave's Plumbing before and knew him to be professional and honest so when i moved to a new house, did not hesitate to call him again. I had several miscellaneous issues that needed repaired or changed. They did a great job, explaining what was wrong and what they were going to do to repair each issue. I'm very pleased.

Dave and Mike came out to my home after my husband and I discovered leaks in our kitchen/dining room area. They were able to find and repair two slab leaks, and even coordinated over the phone directly with my insurance adjuster describing what had happened and how they planned to fix it before they started the work. They were very professional, worked quickly, and had everything back up and running within an afternoon. They checked and double-checked behind themselves from start to finish and cleaned the area they worked in before they left. I would definitely recommend them for any plumbing work.

Very good experience. Dave had to make trip from Melbourne to Rockledge to ascertain the work involved and then another trip to perform the job. He was on time, efficient and pleasant to work with. Very reasonable price for the work. I will use him again and will recommend him to my friends.

While removing some old hedges right around the water line coming into our house you can guess what happened. Root had wrapped around the line at the pvc elbow. Even though we were being extremely careful this cracked and water was running out. So we turned off the water at the meter and we called Dave's Plumbing on a Saturday for an emergency visit (after looking on Angie's List). After speaking with the office Dave quickly called us back to find out what the situation was and said he would be onsite within the hour. He arrived and quickly assessed the needed repair. He was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and answered many questions that were not even directed at this particular issue. The repair price was very reasonable, especially for an emergency visit on a Saturday. Overall we are extremely satisfied and will be sure to call Dave again for all our future plumbing needs. I called Dave when I couldn't get a response from my regular plumber, Marotta's Plumbing Services, Inc., on work that didn't fix the issue I was having. I explained to Dave that I had black specks coming through my kitchen faucet only - not my bathrooms - and that my other plumber had flushed the hot water heater. Naturally, this didn't fix the problem. Dave and Mike showed up and discovered that the washers had disintegrated and the pieces were coming through my faucet. They showed me and there was nothing left. My pull-out faucet was also deteriorating inside. He told me it was due to the chemicals that are added to the water. I do remember about a year ago, the area had a water main problem and they put heavy chemicals in the water. They also upgraded some of the kitchen plumbing since it needed it. I've found a new plumber that's competent and patient as he didn't mind answering my questions. Next step is to get a new, better quality sink and have them install it. I appreciate that they found the real issue and resolved it since the black stuff was really freaking me out! 12/21/12 - Sink/garbage disposal installation went well. My sink is beautiful! Dave and Mike are great peeps and do great work. Very conscientious.

Dave and his worker were prompt and worked quickly. They cleaned up where they worked. (Something a lot of workers do not do). I would definitely hire Dave for any future work that I need and highly recommend his company.

Dave's proved to be very professional, on-time, and extremely knowledgeable. Dave took the time to explain the possible issues that were wrong with the toilet and worked to get it flushing normally again. We have not had any further issues with the toilet since they have been here and would certainly recommend their services.

We had every homeowner's nightmare, come true. The hot water line coming from the hot water heater developed a leak. First, we determined, since there was no water to be found anywhere inside the house, we had to have it confirmed that it was an underground slab leak, coinsedentally under our kitchen sink over a foot under the concrete. Copper piping from 1969, which was right next to our sewage drain pipe, which, also had a hole in it. The water was leaking through a hole in the pipe at a very good rate. Fortunately these guys knew what they were doing and although they had a very hard time trying to weld in a new piece of copper line, because the old was so pitted and slightly smaller from years of use, they were able to stop the leak. We still have to deal with the sewer drain leak, but that has to wait a bit. These guys were very knowledgeable and diid their work very well. Even had to come back the next day to finish up. They cleaned up their mess and gave us a very good deal on the work. I highly recommend this company to anyone.

The repairmen were professional and punctual. I contacted them the night before over their contact form on their website, they called the following morning at 9 AM sharp to schedule an appointment, on a Saturday, which was amazing in my opinion. They called ahead to inform me of ETA, and were able to perform the repair in a timely manner.

He was polite. He came on time, he called and said he was on his way. There were two men that came out. They were clean and neat. They came and did what they had to do and left. I would recommend them to someone else.

Dave and his coworker came to my house the same day I called them. They answered all of my questions and gave me some suggestions as well. They completed all the work efficiently and professionally and made sure everything was cleaned up when they finished. I would definately recommend them to anyone.

..Dave and his assistant came out prior to give an estimate{free}. Appointment made to do the work. They came when they said they would called to verify prior. They did a great job, beautiful work. They actually charged less then the estimate. Highly recommend and will gladly use them in the future if need be!!!!!!!

My new kitchen remodel required the kitchen sink to be moved to the right about two feet, plus hook up the garbage disposal and dishwasher. The cabinet maker had tried to do the plumbing himself and had really blotched the whole thing. There were leaks everywhere. Dave and his helper very quickly went to work and got the sink in working order. They also looked at our bathroom toilet and fixed a small problem there. I was very impressed with Dave's Plumbing and plan to use the company again.

Everything was professional and punctual. He was very patient and helped me to understand what I need to lookout for to prevent problems. He was very thorough; he went into each bathroom; both he and his partner checked outside to see what they needed to do to get at my plumbing in my old house. He checked everything he could think of to check. I was skeptical of using him because he was not bonded but I did not need it for a small job.

Really good. Come to find out its was not my pipe that was clogged but my septic which i am having pumped today...

Two men showed up. The owner had an injury so he supervised his trainee. They started on time and finished quickly. A few monthes ago, I would have done the job myself, but illness stopped that. They were professional and did not try to take advantage.

The original request for work was in my upstairs master bath. A slow leak from an unknown source had begun to show up in resulting water stains on the ceiling of my garage, directly below. I joined Angie's List in hopes that I could avoid polling my neighbors for a recommendation or closing my eyes and randomly choosing a company's name from the phone book. The situation was well beyond my ability to correct, and I knew that getting to a place of detecting the source and fixing the mysterious leak would not be an easy (and probably not inexpensive) job. As I began reading all the "A" reviews and noting there had been homes in my vicinity that had been serviced by Dave's Plumbing, I saw one review that also spoke about a leak from an upstairs master bath. I felt hopeful that I was one step closer to finding the help I needed. I really appreciated the manner in which Dave and Mike approached my situation. I had envisioned having to have my shower or tub tile ripped out to find and fix the leak, but after a careful survey of options, they took a route that was least disruptive to the bath, but required Mike to complete his repair work in an extremely tight work area. (Thanks, Mike!) I had spoken to Dave about several other "wish list" repairs, and they quickly finished each one. I am very thankful that I was led to a business that I can confidently recommend to anyone in need of having their plumbing woes, whether large or small, taken care of in a professional, dependable, friendly, and honest manner.
