Dave's Plumbing & Drain Cleaning

These guys were on top of everything! I called at 8:30 and they were here by 10:30! We had a couple leaks from the upstairs. It was hard to figure out what was wrong but they spent 3 hours finding and fixing the problems. They also fixed a couple other issues while here. They were very professional and friendly and made sure the job was complete. I was also impressed that they did not leave a giant mess behind. I would highly recommend these guys!! Stop working with bad companies and HIRE Dave's Plumbing!!!!

Dave and his assistant were great. They assessed what need to be done to replace the water supply valves; had all the needed replacement parts with them and quickly got the job done. I highly recommend Dave's Plumbing for any plumbing work you need to have done.

Dave's men were on time, professional, called ahead when they were on the way, and quickly expedited the jobs in two different locations. Friendly, knowledgeable, and cleaned up when done. I will also mention that I am a State-Certified General Contractor, and have completed over 10,000 documented home inspections, so few people have more of a critical eye for workmanship than I do. Jobs well done.

Shower head extension rod was leaking behind the wall so I removed it and put some thread tape on and reinstalled it. It still leaked and afterwards the shower pull-out mixer valve came loose and I couldn't get the handle off to look at it. We also had a broken off shut-off valve under the bathroom sink coming from polybutylene tubing. We were worried about the shower mixer valve leaking by trying to force the stuck handle off, so we looked for plumbers in AL. We called late morning on Monday and they came out that evening at 7PM. He was able to get the shower mixer valve handle off and resecure the mixer valve that had pulled loose behind the wall. He tried to reuse the shower extension arm, but it still leaked, so he replaced it and no more leak behind the wall. He also replaced the broken shut-off valve under the sink. For the shower, we figured the plumber would have to tear into the sheet rock on the other side of the shower to make repairs, but he was able to do it all from the shower side. The service was prompt, technician polite, and price was very affordable at $117 including $28 for parts. We'll be calling Dave's Plumbing for all our future plumbing needs.

First contacted Dave on Friday after determining the water heater needed to be replaced. He returned my call later that day and needed some info about my water heater. Since I was out of town, I agreed to provide the info Sunday night. I left a message with Dave's answering service Sunday night. Dave called Monday morning and he described my options and provided a general verbal quote. I also sent him some pictures of the water heater showing its deterioration. Dave wanted to make sure all contingencies were covered since I had smelled gas and the heater was rusted out so badly. Dave called Tuesday morning to schedule an afternoon install. Dave and his assistant showed up on time and had all needed materials. They did an outstanding professional job and took all trash and the old water heater with them. The price, which was extremely reasonable, was exactly as verbally quoted. They provided the rebate paperwork and explained how to complete the form. I would not hesitate to recommend Dave for any plumbing job.

The first time i used them was thanksgiving eve, and he rearranged his schedule to come out and help me.? They were on the roof trying to fix everything, and the price was so reasonable.? I was very happy with the services provided.

We had our kitchen and two bathrooms renovated and Dave had to come out a few times to coincide with the other contractors and their scheduled installation of the sinks. Dave and his helper did a wonderful job of fitting in when we needed them. They installed everything that we asked them to do and even did other repairs that they found out about when they arrived here. I was very happy that I had the two same people (Dave and his helper) come out each time and that I was able to speak to Dave beforehand about each part of the job on the phone. I was very happy with their work and would hire them again.

We called Dave's Plumbing and were called back by Dave within a few minutes. We decided on Dave after talking to him on the phone. He sounded knowledgeable, friendly and listened to what we were telling him. He and a helper arrived that afternoon and assessed and fixed the problem quickly. He checked all baths to make sure there wasn't another problem and gave us valuable information regarding care and maintenance of toilets and drains to prevent further problems. We would use him again and recommend him highly.

There is nothing to report, except to say that I have never had a company give a referral to me when they cannot assist me in a timely manner. I find this to be very professional and above and beyond.

Dave is the ONLY PLUMBER we will ever use! He is reasonably priced, punctual, professional, friendly, etc. I cannot recommed him enough! He has been doing our plumbing for about 8 years now and I would never even consider contacting anyone else!

Called and left a message with a lady about my 4 clogged bathroom sinks and Dave gave me a call back in a timely manner. After I gave him a description of my issues, he gave me a quote of $95, but informed me that it is a common issue that we could probably fix easily on our own. My husband was home at the time and Dave graciously gave him step by step instructions on what to do. We really appreciate that he didn't want to just take our money! He sounds pleasant and polite, and if my husband can't do it, I'll definitely give Dave a call back.

Dave's Plumbing was professional from start to finish. Dave came by and quoted the work (which seemed to be easy on the pocket) as well as made sure that the valve would work for me. When he looked at the valve, he immediately knew that it would be too big for my application and gave alternatives. After purchasing the correct components and scheduling something with him, he showed up during the alotted time period. He performed the work within a 2 hour time period and when it was finished he gave me some pointers for the final installation after the concrete board was put in. All in all, he performed the work flawlessly and with great professionalism.

He is always punctual and offers very reasonable prices. He has helped us plan our jobs in a way that kept costs down while ensuring we have the right solutions for our plumbing needs. It has been a real pleasure to work with him and he has had invaluable advice in working around our other contractors. We love Dave's Plumbing!

Outstanding experience from start to finish. My water heater was still functioning but at an age where its failure could be expected. To be proactive, I called Dave and set up an appointment to replace it. Dave and his crew of one showed up exactly on time and immediately began work removing my old water heater and replacing it with a new one. He also replaced some of the corroded and aging tubing and faucets attached to the old tank. When Dave left, he took the old tank and any installation debris with him. It was a pleasure watching professionals at work. Dave will be my plumber of choice for any plumbing needs I may have in the future.
