CONSIGN & DESIGN HOME FURN

On March 24, 2012, shop owner came to house and picked up a Lazy-Boy sofa in excellent condition that she stated immediately was worth at least $600.00. She took sofa to her shop and we never heard from her again. We had to go into shop 4 months later to findout sofa was gone / sold. She could not produce a record of when it was picked up, sold or for how much.... We had to go home and find the contract and come back two weeks later to find out that sofa sold for almost half of what was originally discussed and she had zero supporting documentation. This is 2nd time this has occurred to us with this business. (shame on us....) She takes your item, never communicates back to you whether is sells or not until you personally go into shop to inquire and you find out it's gone. In short I believe that she would never have contact us had we not gone into her shop. She speaks to people in an arrogant, smug manner. Totally unprofessional, untrustworthy and unreliable. I would not recommend this business to anyone and i will never use them again.
