Not well. First thing they checked was the float switch which was working. B4 doing anything else they said my drain line needed vacuuming, how’d they know? They said it would costs $262, I said no way I’ll do it myself, which I usually do. Then they fiddled around with the outside unit and found the capacitor not preforming correctly and cost $302 to replace. I agreed bc they said it would be a warranty item and the manufacturer would reimburse. When I got the bill it was for $378! I figured the difference of 378 and 302 was labor. Afterwards I checked the price of a capacitor and it was less than $20 my cost on Amazon, so they probably pay half that. I called the office and told them to take the maintenance agreement off which I agreed to and the 302 for the parts charge. They took the agreement costs off but not the costs of the capacitor. I checked the average cost to replace a capacitor in the Melbourne area and it was $170. I talked with the owner and expressed my concerns and told him I would pay the $170 instead of $378. He refused. Anyone know what they’ve been charged to replace a capacitor?

Outstanding! Mr. M. Ward was very professional, friendly, and meticulous. He was quick and thorough, and explained what he was doing. The ducts were really dirty, and he made them look like new after the cleaning. He also vacuumed the place afterwards. I would definitely call them the next time I need any work done on the HVAC.

The technician was very knowledgeable. He explained everything he was going to do and gave me the quote before starting. He did a great job going above and beyond. Great! They sent Neal who climbed through our “tight quartered” attic and found several leaks which were improperly sealed by the previous installers. Also several registers were not properly attached to the ceiling. He took care of all the issues and now we have a properly sealed system. Neal is a true asset to this or any company.

The technician arrived promptly, explained the process, and got directly to work. He was personable and professional. I noticed a difference in the indoor air quality almost immediately, which has since been confirmed by the filter on my heating and cooling unit. I would hire this company again.

Everything has been fine. My wife's allergies are much better. We entered in to a service contract with them.

No camera view of ducts (as advertised). No truck mounted vac system. Was small portable unit in what appeared to be a converted uhaul. Cleaning was only an air injection that only went ten feet into a fifty foot duct. This entire service is a scam.

They weren't here very long, so there is no way it could have been done correctly. I just don't think it was a thorough cleaning. It wasn't what I signed up for.

This company is great. All about communication and keeping appointments. They let me know every time the technician was coming to the house and sent a text with a photo so that I knew who to expect. I love that. The technician was extremely polite and professional, especially since on his first visit he was unable to provide the service as we didn't have registers installed (we are refurbing an entire house) as I was unaware that this was a requirement. However, we got them installed and he came back and did a very thorough job. My husband was pleased and so am I. Thank you. We will use them again.

The company was very prompt and professional in every aspect. The service technician was right on time, was very cordial and got right to work. I've never had the vents cleaned before so I have no way to make comparisons.

The service technician was very nice but let me to believe the small air conditioning unit and duct situation a lightly used condo was in dire straits. Do not feel what he did was what was advertised in the original offer.

He arrived when scheduled, was friendly and professional, and pointed out that system was not cooling as well as required. I was pleased with the service.

My outside AC unit did not run and opened the box and found the capacitor was popped up after I checked everything. So I called the service of this company for replacing the capacitor. The service person came on time and told me there were couple of reasons which might cause the capacitor broken. Capacitor went wrong was the result. It may be due to the several reasons such as compressor problem etc. I was told there was 80% chance to get AC work after replacing the capacitor but there is no guarantee. The cost of replacing capacitor is $188. I agreed to replace the capacitor to take the chance that the AC might work. He didn't have one 55uF capacitor on his truck so he used two capacitors (50 uf+ 5 uf) to combine together. After the capacitor was replaced, the fan was running, not the compressor so the AC still didn't work. And then he measured current and it was still higher than normal. He suggested to replace the start kid next step which is another $200 as discount price. But he said it just had 20% chance that the AC might work. If it still didn't work after replacing the start kid, he suggested to replace the compressor which might be $2000-3000. In that case he suggested it may not be worth to fix AC and it is better to replace the the whole AC system since my AC is about 10 years old. He also mentioned the my AC was not installed correctly which might cause the problem because there were two wire entering the AC and it drops a lot current to AC than it is needed. So I asked about the cost of replacing whole AC which is around $4850 minimum. After his advice I decided to stop fixing the AC and paid him $150 as the discount price for replacing the capacitor. And then I started to shop around for new AC system. Luckily I found another guy Joe from different AC company. Joe came right away when he heard it was in urgent and his truck was just around. When Joe came here, he told me the compressor was already replaced before. I was very curious how he knew it because I am the second owner of the house and just own the house for two years. He said the bottom wire to the AC was burned out and a new wire on top was installed for the new compressor. Surely he could not tell when the compressor was replaced. He explained the reason why there are two wires to the AC immediately even though I didn't ask. And it is total different story from what the previous technician told me. Joe fixed the AC in 10 minutes by reconnecting the capacitor the previous technician put on. Then the AC was back to work and everything runs well. Basically I was told by Joe that the connection of the capacitor was totally wrong and he just reconnected it and problem was solved. He saved me to buy the whole new AC system. Surly I paid Joe for the service he provided. Then I went to the previous company's (Aire Serv @ Melbourne) website and found the previous technician has 15 years working experience. I called the previous company to ask my money back for replacing the capacitor because they did the wrong connection and gave me suggestion to replace the whole AC unit. The manager of the previous company told me that their capacitor part is worth $150 and surly their guy did the labor for free. I was told that I need to make an appointment with their company so they would send service guy to my house to take the capacitor off. Then they would deduct the service call charge from the $150 and mail the reminder to my house. I am afraid that I still can't get the reminder money back so I didn't make the appointment. Surly I don't have any of my money back now and they already took the money off from my account (I paid by check). I still want my money back for the wrong service they provided. I also have third party besides Joe to prove all those are true.

I was rescheduled twice. The third time I cancelled the service as I no longer wanted to deal with this company

We purchased an Angie's Big Deal to have our air ducts cleaned. The serviceman arrived as scheduled, but almost immediately tried to sell us additional services. It was a substantial amount of money (over $500) and we said no. He seemed a little unfriendly after that, but went ahead and did the service we had requested. However, when he was done, he left without even saying goodbye or letting us know he had completed the work, which I thought was very rude.

My disappointment came when the repair man strongly recommended other expensive work and a yearly plan for repairs that were not necessary. My other disappointment was when Angie's list recommended a discount fee that was actually higher than the company (Aire Serv) was itself.

You get what you pay for. He did very little. I had to hire another company to go back in to the vents.

It turned out to be alright. He came out the same day I called him.

Provider did a through job and was reliable.
