Description of Work: Called for a quote on a reroof on 09/09/2015, followed up around the 15th or so, was told they would email the quote on 09/22/2015. I had all be written them off, on 09/29/2015, I receive an email from the company an offer to provide a new roof which was both written out in numerical form as well as alpha numeric. I immediately began my due diligence trying to find out as much as I could about the company because the quote was the best I had receive thus far. After an hour of searching online I was comfortable with the fact that they had no complaints from customers other than the lack of communication from other angie's list customers. I figured they were super busy because the price as excellent. After asking questions about my estimate clarifying information and getting information missing from the quote that other competing roofers had put in theirs I found out that their quote is $10,000 more than they originally quoted. I find this to be extremely unprofessional and a colossal waste of time. This company should have had more forsight and realize the mistake before putting it in written form. Had I just signed it and returned it as is, perhaps I would have had a case against them in small claims court but since I was watching out for my best interests and not just blindly signing a contract without first reading it and understanding it, I am left with hours wasted. I would NOT recommend Advanced Roof Technology to anyone and hope that others don't hire them. They took 20 days to provide me with a quote and are SUPER SLOW in responding to emails. I can only imagine how I would feel had I contracted with them if I had an issue with my roof how it would be dealt with. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Description of Work: I received an initial estimate for roof repairs, however while coordinating with other contractors they stopped returning my calls. No explanation why.

Description of Work: They were polite and professional but the quote was high and the shingle quality they planned to use was one step down from the better shingle I went with so there price was not as good and Total Home Contractors who performed the work less expensive and with better materials according to the shingle ratings I found on Consumer Research. I used the certainteed landmark pro shingles.

Description of Work: Plumbing cap and repair of about 375 sq ft

Description of Work: I called this company for an estimate for a repair on a leaky roof. I was told that the owner would be at my house between 1:00 -1:30 and would call prior to arrival. Took off work a half day to wait for estimate. Never called and did not show.Cost me half a days pay. Very unprofessional. Won't ever get my money .Obviously my time is not important.

Description of Work: They didn't perform any services as they failed to show up for an appointment to do an estimate nor did they bother calling to cancel/change the appointment.

Description of Work: Remove a shingle roof and replace with a metal roof.

Description of Work: Company repaired a leaking skylight and did extensive repairs to a leaking chimney.

Description of Work: We hired them to do a partial roof replacement and added soffit on two porch ceilings.

Description of Work: Remove old tile, installed new asphault shingle roof

Description of Work: Removed dry rot, repaired valleys with proper flashing, replaced shingles, re-stuccoed siding as required and painted to match.

Description of Work: I called Advance Roof Technology and asked the secretary to have someone call me to give me an estimate on repairing a leaky roof. I did mention that I had gotten their business name through Angie's List. Two weeks passed. No call. Saturday, about 1:00 pm, got a call from Steve, the owner. He was in the area and was wondering if we still had a problem, and did we want him to swing by to look at it. We figured, well OK. He did come by right away, got on the roof, and with input from my son, was able to tell us that he didn't think it was the roof itself leaking, but water getting behind the siding. He instructed my son how to fix the problem. So, because he did call, was honest in his assumption what the real problem was, did give us an estimate how much it would cost to have that area pulled up and reworked, if it was in fact the roof. I would do business with him again.

Description of Work: I'd paid another company multiple times to address a serious leaks caused by improper flashing when my home was built. The work was never done correctly, and it continued to leak. Advanced Roof Technology reflashed, resealed, and reshingled four areas where two chimneys tied in to four roof lines.

Description of Work: He came out and gave me a bid on how much my roof was going to cost.

Description of Work: Stripped off all of the old roof down to the plywood. Repairs to the roof structure. Replaced drip edging. Re-nailed to bring the roof up to current code. Installed off-ridge vents. Installed 30 year shingle over Peel+ stick dry in coating.
