They did an amazing job.. they were kind, knowledgeable and worked extremely hard. We had contact Gen Air for a second bid but they would not do work until decemer due to heat. I had chemo and rad in 2011 and was panicked that the mold had already been here for a year! Able air unhooked the ducts so air would get to them and I was so happy they were able to do this for part of the time. They figured out a way not to over heat and still help us out. They re-configured some things and asked if I had a dust problem..lo and behold we did!!! I could not understand it and it was a white dust not like normal dust.. he said it was coming from a place in the system.. so they fixed that for me! I was very impressed and they used a special duct that was for mold ... I was very happy with them and the team they used to do the work...

The day of installation was impressive---5 guys removing and disposing of other system.. The installation normally takes 2 days, but with the team working on the install, it was completed in one day. And no mess afterwards, they cleaned up everything. Each professional installer tested and retested the system across 3 zones and across 3 thermostats. It was perfect. Best of all, the thermostats are simple to operate(not requiring the operator to have a PHD from MIT as in other systems). The installers walked me through the system and it was easy to navigate from a central station or in each zone area...if you want the best AC system and team behind it...call these guys....

They are really good and they are thrust worthy. They were prompt and once they have you on their list the will come out.

I've had them service my units twice over the last few years and more recently replace my upstairs unit. I had several estimates and their price was on par with the others. Everyone was professional and friendly

When I initially called for service, I thought the air conditioning was working. I called them on a Friday morning and explained that my husband was currently using oxygen and that the unit had made weird noises at 2 A.M. this morning. i was concerned that it would stop working and that would jeopardize my husband's health. They immediately arranged for a technician, Ken, to come to the house - all within 3 hours. The technician was very polite and professional. He explained that the motor in the air handler had quit and the unit was frozen. The office called around and found a replacement motor, which the technician went and picked up. He installed it and then waited for it to run a bit to take some readings and make sure it was working well. I am really impressed that they were able to schedule our repair so quickly and I know that they took my husband's health concern seriously. Also, Brittany, in the office was very pleasant and helpful. We have used them before and will continue to do so.

Replace 5 ducts and then left. Stated the job was finished. After inspection it was discovered two of the ducts that was the bases of the request work were not replaced. The insulation was clearly visible through the deteriorated outer cover. I contacted the supervisor who sent the workmen back out to complete the job.

We have an older AC system that stopped blowing air after returning from a trip. Able Air came out within an hour of my call and offered two repair options, a repair to the existing system OR a complete replacement. We chose to patch the problem and to start budgeting for the larger AC replacement. -- Able Air had the repairs complete within a couple hours and everything has been working well!

Salesman was on time and knowledgeable. The price was right. The installation crew was on time, knowledgeable and professional. They left my garage cleaner than it was when they started.

Everything went fine, they came on time and did everything and wrapped it up in a day. They were punctual.

The sales rep was courteous, knowledgeable, and spoke fight to the point. The installers arrived on time and seemed to have done a good job. Clear instructions on the thermostat were given and all the appropriate paperwork was left. They were cheerful, despite having to work in hot, humid weather. My only complaint is that the garage floor could have been cleaned up better. I had to sweep and hose it to get it clean again. All in all, I was pleased with the services performed.

This is one home ownership item I dreaded buying. I didn't know much about the subject of replacing my entire system or who the best outfits were. I got bids from 7 different companies and narrowed it down to three. Honestly, I liked all three and I am confident all three would have done a good job. Able air just went above and beyond to get my business. They matched the best price and gave me all the extra features I requested. I thought the sales rep was going to be the shining star of this process. But as good as he was, the crew that installed my system was amazing. I'm a pretty picky guy and I have very high standards when dealing with contractors. These guys were finding issues I wasn't and were redoing work or making modifications to my system to make it perform better. They took PRIDE in their work! Able Air took a very stressful situation for me and made it a pleasure.

The installation was very professional. The price was very competitive. The unit functions flawlessly. It was very good experience overall. I contacted probably 6 or 7 companies before going with Able. They certainly exceeded my expectations.

Since Able Air installed our AC?Heatpump, we have used them for all service. They are prompt, professionals, and know their stuff. Most recently our thermostat was on the blink and they replaced it at no cost, under a ten year warranty.. I can't say enough how comforting it is to know they are only a call away !!!!!!!

After experiencing poor heat from our 4 year old Goodman Heat Pump we decided to call Able Heat and A/C Inc to service the system and check on the operation of the Heat strips. The technician (Ken Martin) arrived precicely on time and proceedeed to open the condensor unit outside and clean it thoroughly, he also cleaned out the drain lline with compressed air. He then opened the air handler in the garage, cleaned it out thoroughly and checked that the heat strips were operating OK but there was only one strip (5kw) which was not enough to augment the heat pump in it's defrost mode. He then checked the wiring from the Breaker box to the Air handler and determined it was only sufficient for one 5kw heat strip. He advised us heavier wiring would be required to be able to add another heat strip. After finishing this work, he then checked the refrigerant pressure in the confensor unit and found it was 5 pounds low. He advised this could cause the heat pump to put out less heat and possibly was causing the poor heat problem in the house. Before leaving he went in the house and checked the operation of the thermostat and changed an option which was set wrong. All in all he did an outstanding job in our view and we were well pleased with his courtesy and the professional manner he conducted his work. We'd be happy to recommend Able Air inc, and will have the again.

Tech arrived promptly. Added a pound of air. Took a little over an hour to finish diagnostic.

The work initially appeared to be professionally done, the crews were freindly and appeared to be knowledgeable. 1. Nine months later, the downstairs condensate pump refused to evacuate the condensate, causing A/C unit to keep shutting down and condensate to backup and overflow into the garage. Able aire designed the A/C system and put in the wrong condensate pump then tried to charge me $458 to identify their problem and replace the inadequate pump. I refused to pay and asked to speak to the supervisor. After multiple invoices and no return call from the supervisor, Able Air dropped the charge. Now for the fun stuff.2. Able Air installed a new plenum upstairs but undersized the new air return. The tech onsite knew it was too small and expressed concern but proceeded as directed. We had mold and mildew on our shoes and clothing in the closet so I installed a 20 x 20 air return myself and that corrected the upstairs mold and mildew problem.3. Approximately 2 years later we started having a musty smell in the downstairs which grew progressively worse until it became intolerable in 2011. We had nasty black mold in the majority of the downstairs ductwork that was so thick you could scrape it off with a knife, about 1/8 to 1/4 inch in thickness depending on how close the ductwork was to the air handler. As it turns out, Able Air increased the size of the downstairs A/C unit without adding the necessary additional ductwork required for a unit of that size. In addition, the ducting from the new addition was kinked and pinched almost inside the drywall covering the ductwork, causing poor airflow into the Air handler. It has cost me $2,300 to have the proper additional ductwork installed, ductwork cleaned of heavy mold, sealed to prevent regrowth of mold and have new humidistats installed to replace ineffective and cheap thermostats speced by ABle Air. I may have to ultimately have the downstairs ductwork replaced at a cost of upwards of $10,000 for drywall removal, new ductwork and new drywall and painting. I am less than happy with the work that was done and it has been a very costly error for me to correct.

The serviceman Tom from Able Air arrived promptly at 8 am. (I had communicated to the office that my husband and I both worked and requested the 1st appointment). I was very pleased with his timeliness. He was extremely polite and proceeded to service 2 A/C units. He diagnosed the broken connector on the downstairs unit and promptly proceed to repair it. He inspected the upstairs unit too. He completed his service call and the repair in 45 minutes. He was extremely polite and respectful towards me, my home, and my dogs and cats. I appreciated this - especially when he was careful to close the door when he went outside since my cats are indoor pets only. The lady in the office who answered the phone was very courteous and ensured that we got an 8 am appointment since we had to go to work.

Came out promptly, fixed the problem without trying to sell me a new unit!
