We were buying a new house. The air conditioning was kind of old. We asked the sellers to have it serviced. They were going to check the a/c thing. They said it was supposed to have been serviced in May but when we moved in the house in June or July, it just stopped working so I wasn't really happy with them so they did it for free. They were supposed to have done maintenance on the system and cleaned it and it literally crapped out and we had to be serviced again like, a month ago. It was for a stupid reason. It was just the sludge inside. It was something that, if they had actually cleaned it, it probably wouldn't have happened. I don't really have a good review for them. I made them do it for free. I'm like, "You need to come fix this, it was supposed to have just been done". They came out and did it for free. They fixed it. Once they fixed it, it was fine. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they did clean it. I don't know what their regular prices are. I don't want to give someone a negative review for not knowing.

They're very punctual, they're knowledgeable and on time. The technician was very polite, he explained to me what he was doing.

They were very friendly, helpful, and had competitive prices. They were able to fix my ducts in a very timely manner.

First of all there was an issue with my unit, and if the person had serviced it, they should have been able to see that I had mold growing in that unit. So there was a lot of issues with the unit that the person just neglected to tell me. Also, the whole time he was here, all he could tell me was that I was going to need, that my, about my warranty was going to be out and I wasn't going to be covered. I'm going to have to get a new A/C system and that's all he could just tell me that so I just felt like I was being set up, to make sure that the next time that they was gonna be try to get me to buy a new system from them.

Took two visits but fixed the problem. Bad capacitor. Came back quickly when the problem was not resolved.

When I had the repair work done. I could have gone with something more expensive. So other than the guy saying I should done something which would have been much more expensive, he told me I didn't really need it "that", this will take care of it. I even called a friend back at Pennsylvania whose husband does this for a living and told him my choices, and asked what would they do. He told me the guy could have sold me anything. He just told me this was what I really needed and I was pleased with that. When I had the problem with the air conditioning they were out like immediately.

I've used them two or three times now. Once because I had a problem, something wasn't working. I was pleased with them I have them come and do regular service and I had a problem and they came out out clear that so I made sure I used them again for regular service cause I was pleased with their performance before.

What can I say? Elijha & Jeff came to work! As a team they were unbelievable. I was in the garage with Elijha nearly the whole time they were here. I mentioned to him that they don't talk to each other much. He said "The more we talk, the less work we get done". Each knew what the other guy was doing and didn't have to discuss it. What a team! You couldn't go wrong with these two.

He has yet to give me a quote, but I was totally unimpressed with this guy. He was just a zero all the way down. He was not helpful, did not know his product and just did not know basic stuff. I asked him some questions about A/C that I already knew the answers to and he didn't so I was totally non-plussed with this guy. He was a loser. He did not even say goodbye when he left, he just kind of disappeared. He was totally unprofessional. His name was Bill Jarvis. He is an air conditioning sales consultant there. He was just nothing. His punctuality was good. He was cocky.

All techs were professional and polite, they were quick and did a great job cleaning up, as well as explaining the new system and system care to me. One of the reasons we chose Able Air was because when our old system stopped working one night (in August!), they made an emergency service call to attempt to restore the AC (they were successful!)...anyone who's been without AC in Florida in August knows how appreciative we were that they were "Able to be there!"

They do the yearly annual maintenance on my AC. It was 450 dollars for a fan loader replacement. They are good at what they do. They are the only ones who can operate on my type of unit. I've been using them for about 12 years now. They are fair and honest. They are always prompt and they call you before they get there to do our maintenance.

Able Air always provides the best service here. I have done business with them for twenty years.

Unit is working very well. Cooling and heating work seamlessly. Very happy with the result.

Have had some normal wear-n-tear service repair needs which they handle quickly and at a reasonable cost. The best example is the fan on our condenser rusted and fell off - instead of trying to sell us a whole new condenser, they checked their staff of "old stuff" and found a fan they could use to replace ours. Cost was less than $100, and the unit has been working great for over 2 years.

Air conditioner was serviced. Adjustments were made. Service man was courteous and professional. I have used Able Air routinely in the past. They have always treated me fairly with maintenancee, repairs, and new air conditioning unit installation.

I ended up fixing the problem myself.

I didn't dislike anything. I was very happy with them. They did what I wanted them to do.

My house HVAC system stopped working several weeks ago and I called around to get estimates from several companies in the local area. Able Air was the last company I contacted. Steve from Able Air arrived on time and got right down to business. Where as the other companies brought folders of flyers of how great their company was, Steve showed up and immediately got to work evaluating my system and working on an estimate. When I asked him if he had a fancy folder with info about the company, he replied, "Well, we do air conditioning and we do it better than anybody else. I've been doing this for 42 years." And he gave me his business card. No frills, no gimmicks. I liked it. In addition, he was able to offer a bigger, more efficient system with the ductwork and extended warranty for less than the other companies I received estimates from. Their financing plans made it extremely affordable for me. In the end, I purchased a 4ton 18SEER variable speed system by Carrier with all new ducts from Able Air. Steve even came out to my house on a Saturday morning to finish up the paperwork so he could start ordering the parts first thing Monday morning. He called me Monday afternoon to say they could install the system in 1 day at the end of the week. On the day of installation, a crew of 5 showed up exactly on time, introduced themselves, and immediately got to work. They were extremely courteous and professional and asked me questions throughout the install to ensure that everything was being put in the way I wanted; i.e. ceiling vents, drain line, compressor location, etc. True to their word, they were finished at 4:30 that afternoon. They cleaned up the job site extremely well. One of the crew spent another 20-30 minutes going over every aspect of the system, to include how to use the inside controller. They covered the warranty as well as the maintenance actions I could do myself. Due to the location of some of my vents and the fact that everything had to be removed from the attic, there was one spot in the ceiling that cracked around the edge of a return vent. The damage was minor and only in the drywall on the ceiling. The crew immediately pointed it out to me and said they would call it in to their office and have the office set up a time for their structural repair person to come out and repair the damage. Throughout the day of install, Steve stopped by 3 times to check on the work and stopped by that afternoon when the crew was done to do a final inspection. I've heard horror stories of HVAC system installs and spent an entire week getting estimates as well as reviewing BBB and Angie's List. Able Air did an amazing job from start to finish. I am extremely pleased that I decided to go with Able Air. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to have their HVAC system worked on.

The two technicians arrived on time. They installed the Heat Pump on the existing concrete pad. Purged the existing copper pipes that run under the house slab to the inside Heat Exchanger; installed and soldered new copper piping between the pipes and the HP. Replaced the 220 volt cable to the HP; replaced a fuse; monitored the recharging of the lines; cycled the completed system through heating, and airconditioning. Cleaned up all debris and trash. Very very competent workmen. We solicited three bids from Angie's List companies. Two bids were received. The third company came out and surveyed the effort; however, they were not heard from again. The 2nd company proposed replacing the copper lines that run under the house connecting the Heat Pump to the Heat Exchanger. Their concern was that the pipes had been exposed to open air, weather, crawlng things in the three months between the theft (and severing of the copper lines) and Jan 13, 2015. But, of course, it was more costly.

See above. The technicians were very competent and clearly knew what they were doing. The $2403 includes the Carrier Heat Pump, parts and labor.

Our air handler was 21 years old and on it's last legs. When we turned on the heat for the first time this year, carbon monoxide was venting into the house due to a corroded part. Able's salesman explained why we would need to install a new condenser unit also in order to be up to code. He was very pleasant and pulled all the necessary certificates from the town for the work. The work was completed by two service technicians that spent eight hours doing the install and updating our electrical as well. They were very professional and you could tell they really valued the quality of the install. We have used and I have reviewed this company in the past. They really cemented our relationship with this job.

The installation went well and the crew that installed it were friendly and did a very good job.

Scheduled service call. Arrived within window of time. Evaluated the issues. Determined what was wrong and made repair within 45 minutes.
