When I called to see about getting an estimate for a move to another state a guy answered and said “Gino” which threw me off so I inquired if I had reached AAA Mike Todisco’s Moving and he said oh yea. I then went on to explain why I was calling and he said yes they do long distance moves. The whole time I was talking to him he would pause and it sounded like someone was in the background telling him what to say, then he come back online and answer me. He set up a date for Friday 1/19/18 at 4:30 to come out and give us an estimate. Well here it is Friday 1/19/18 at 6:19 pm and no one showed up nor called to let us know they were not coming. I have been in the customer service business for 38 years and this is definitely not how you want to treat a potential new customer. If I was staying in Brevard Co. I sure would not recommend this company. They only hurt their business because I could of been a potential move that would cost a couple thousand dollars.

Great! They made the move go very smoothly and took a lot of stress off of me. They were very professional. They ran into a few glitches but took the time to work everything out. I will definitely hire them again!

Having used Mike Todisco's service before, I was used to their exceptional service and wasn't let down. As always these guys come through. We had a to move my parents out of their home in Port Orange, FL to Bishops Glen assisted living in Holly Hill, FL. Here is what I really love about this company. They are competitively priced, [I felt others were very high], they show up when they tell you, they keep in constant communication. And when these guys that show up, they show up to work. Don't get in their way, as they move fast. They know what needs to be broken down, and what needs to be wrapped up and how best to load the truck. Recommendation, have stuff all packed up - - these guys are like a machine if your stuff is boxed up and ready to load. That's what they do best. If you want them to pack for you, that's what slows them down...but hey it is your money. All I can say, if great company, great value and I will definitely use them again. They are our hometown heros!

This company moved me 3 times in 2 years. The first and second moves were good. The third move was horrible. It was a difficult move involving a flight of stars but they knew that before they came. I did add some pieces to the job which were not included in the estimate but I also paid extra the day after the move to cover that. They did significant damage to my furniture i.e. broke the inside of a dresser such that several of the drawers were unable to close, broke a sliding door on an armoire, put a huge gouge in a dark wood TV stand and then (without telling me) tried to patch it with some orange wood filler. I called the company regarding the damage and, per their request, filled out a claim form, sent pictures and actually included invoices for the bedroom furniture because it was new. Worse than the damage they did was their total lack of integrity and professionalism in dealing with the situation. After 2 months with no response, I called to follow up on the status of the claim. My call was returned and he was going to check on the claim and get back with me. I called them numerous times over the next 4 to 5 months and never once received any response despite leaving messages for both the sales person and the owner. I am stuck with paying for the repairs to the damage they created. I do not recommend them. You have too many other good options!

Exceptional service. They packed up everything that was not nailed down. My parents had not clearly designated some items that were not to be moved so we ended up throwing out many boxes and furniture items. They brought up my parents car. The mover was very friendly and helpful. When a vacuum cleaner (loaned by the neighbors) was accidentally packed (my parents were at settlement), the mover went to the storage , retrieved that vacuum cleaner, and brought it back to my parents house. The owners were in constant communication with me. I would recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic. This is a long overdue review of our move. We received a quote many months in advance of our move, comparing three different local companies. While the prices of two were very similar (one was off the charts high), I really liked the no-pressure family feel and detail of Mike Todisco moving. Their phone and email response was pleasant and prompt. When our move date was scheduled, the company called to confirm at least once, and I think actually called a second time the day before. This was a very nice touch to reassure a stressed out customer (us). The group showed up on time and worked VERY hard all day long to load the truck, then cheerfully moved our furniture and boxes into our new home, climbing many stairs all day long. They really are a family owned and run business and everyone who is not actually family seems to have adopted their great work ethic. As an aside, as hard as these guys work I recommend a tip of some sort at the end of their day-we did so and the grateful thank yous we received made me feel good for showing our appreciation. They work HARD and I can only imagine the sore muscles of carrying furniture for 8 hours a day!

Just a very smooth process.

The crew showed up at the time promised, were professional and friendly. I appreciated the great care they took in dismantling, wrapping each piece in a moving quilt, and the time they took to make sure everything was secure. They worked hard and didn't waste any time. I felt very comfortable entrusting my belongings to their care. They not only unloaded all of the items, but they inquired where they should put each box and each piece of furniture, They assembled everything and removed all of the trash they generated. I will definitely call this company for my next move and recommend them to all of my friends.

Very professional and honest. I hired them to move me from South Florida to Satellite Beach last May 2014. Their price was about half it would have been if I used a local company in South Florida. They took care of my furniture, like it was their own. There was an extra charge on bill (math error with driving time), but in the stress of moving didn't realize it. AFTER I paid bill they came back to me and they told me I overpaid and refunded money, that I would of never realized. After moving 5 times in last 10 years, I have never found movers more honest and caring. They even fixed furniture that I was not going to move because it was broken, but they were able to fix (without charging) and saved me more money than the whole moving expense. It was a desk that the was damaged from a previous mover, that didn't take the time to dismantle from the move before. Would absolutely use again.

The Mike's team were very professional and responsible with the move. They arrived on time, and took around the same amount of time as they provided on the estimate. I moved into a new house, so the team was extra careful not to mess up any drywall, or mess up any of my property. I was happy with their service, and would certainly use them again in the future. I found the final price to be a bit steep, but considering the amount of work that had to be done, I think it was worth it.

We hired these folks to move our Baby Grand Piano while we were having hardwood floors installed in our house. The movers were excellent at handling and moving our piano, were very prompt, and very friendly and courteous. I would use them again and highly recommend them.

Wonderful experience. We first met with Tom who was very professional and easy going. He gave us an estimate which was very fair. Movers came on time, were very efficient, friendly and extremely hardworking. Even after the bill was paid ( less than the original estimate) the men generously offered to try to fix the door threshold that was broken before they even came. Tom even came by in the middle of the move to check on how things were going. This company is a CLASS ACT!

They broke some legs off of our table, and scratched up another table. They were supposed to reimburse us for the damages, and they never have.

This is the 3rd time I have used Mike Todisco and as always they are punctual very professional movers. I would highly recommend them to all.

They moved my 180 gallon aquarium with base and piping still installed. I was quoted $350. just to move it from another company. Three great guys and they were fast and efficient. They also came in under the estimate which was a few hundred less than one of my other estimates and $500. less than another. No scratches or problems with my furniture.

Good movers, did a bit of damage to our refrigerator. The person that came out to do the quote said they would be bringing two trucks and wouldn't charge additional for the 2nd truck. They only brought out 1 truck and so it took longer that it could have to load and they were not able to get everything moved. The crew was organized and worked hard. I would use them again.

I was told to expect the movers between 9 -9:30. They were there right at 9. They came in, observed the apartment, got startedand did NOT stop until they were finished. They did an EXCELLENT job, will use them again in the future, and will highly recommend.

I called several places when I was looking for a mover. I went with Mike Todisco company based on my phone conversations with them and reviews on Angie's List. The guy I talked to? Tom, asked me several question about what we wanted moved. The question he asked gave me the impression that they were very experienced and knew what they were doing. I am happy to say that I was VERY impressed with the whole experience. I have moved several times, so I am basing my opinion on other companies I have worked with. The 4 moving guys were awesome! They were very hard working, friendly and positive. Even with 94 degree temperatures and 3 flights of stairs (yes, they had to move our furniture and boxes up 3 flights with no elevator), they maintained a very positive attitude. (I did not know that was humanly possible!) More impressive was that our final tab was significantly lower than what we expected. My advice to anyone moving: you can keep the cost down if you are prepared. Several years ago, a moving company gave me this advice.... use uniform sized boxes and have them sealed shut with packing tape. This allows the mover to easily stack them on top of each other and move them quickly. (I bought three different size moving boxes at Walmart. The movers were able to stack the same sizes together.) Also, put heavy things in as small a box as possible. If you are NOT completely packed BEFORE the movers come, you will be costing yourself a lot of money. It takes movers a lot more time and work if your belongings are not ready to be put on the truck in a stackable manner. That cost is going to get passed down to you. The moving guys are doing grueling work and are working extremely hard. They deserve to get paid their hourly rate whether it is packing your belongings or moving your stuff. So save your self some money by being ready. I start packing weeks before our moving day. Number each box. Make a list of what is in each box. Also I write a few of the items on the outside of each box. That helps me find things I might need before I get completely unpacked. My bottom line is? highly recommend them!!

I had a short-lead-time request for my furniture-only move. Tom was my coordinator and he did a good job at the start. He was able to get me a quote within a day (based on very specific details I emailed to him) and agree on a date that was only 6-8 days in the future. Keep in mind that I moved cross-country a year ago and knew how to prep myself so that they could get in, get the job done, and get out. That said, assigned to me were Jeff, Cory and Gino. Good guys. Professional. Worked VERY well together. No breaks, worked the whole time. Although I work from home I needed to minimize vacation time off for moving. I made the guys aware of this when they arrived and they loaded up the desk (3 pieces and heavy) into the truck last. As desired, they moved my desk up to the new place first and put it exactly where I wanted. I was able to work while they finished everything up. I found nothing scratched or broken (although they made me aware of several things that were broken as they were packing things up). They actually spent less time than the estimate noted. The issue I had however is that my desk has a hutch on it with shelves. The shelves use brass 'pins' to hold them in place. Unfortunately the pins disappeared. No problem, I will get replacements at Home Depot. I did that but the pins are too big. No problem, I'm sure the big hardware stores have them available online. No.... the pins evidently are a very special size. I let Tom know about the issue and asked him to confirm where the guys put the pins (they were in a ziplock bag for sure). The guys said they were in a drawer but I did not find them. I asked for a solution. After several days of no response I emailed Tom and recommended that either they purchase what I needed online (I gave him a URL of what I needed) and have them shipped to me or pretend to order them (including shipping) and send me a check for that amount and I will order them online. No reponse after 4 days. At this point I'm annoyed that the company has yet to 'make me whole'. It's not a big deal, about $10 in materials plus shipping. It's as if once they have your $ there is no customer service.

It went perfect. They actually did this on a Sunday!! The deliverer just plopped this heavy crate near my mailbox. These movers came on time and did a great job. They were very polite and professional. Originally I thought the price was steep but now realize how heavy it was and what it took to get to my backyard site. It was on quick notice and done on a Sunday. No regrets.

If you are in or near the Melbourne, FL area and need to move, Mike is the one and only one to call. He and his guys did the work I asked in the time I asked and then unloaded in less time. Very professional. Will use them again and again. I was caught in a bind when movinghelp.com did not show as promised. When I told him about our problem, he solved it with no hesitation.

ABSOLUTE PRICE GOUGING $500 - Initial Estimate $900 - Secondary Estimate $1,651 - Final Charge I provided accurate information (property total rooms, square footage, occupancy) for both estimates. The moving team was prompt, courteous and extremely professional. All of my furniture and personal effects were handled with great care. Despite the price gouging, I still tipped the team $60. PROBLEM: The owner Mike Todisco refused to stand behind the estimates that were previously provided. After explaining the situation, he BEGAN SCREAMING AND CURSING. The absolute weakest piece of this company is the owner. BE PREPARED FOR A VERBAL ALTERCATION IF YOU DON'T COMPLY WITH THE PRICE GOUGING. Moving truck also showed up 2 hours late because they could not provide valid insurance. I ended up paying them $1,000 (plus tip) for the service. Mike Todisco also threatened with a call to the police. I openly welcome any small claims court to review the e-mail trail and documentation.

The guys were on time, friendly, careful and quick. I would definitely recommend them!

Nothing damaged, nothing lost. Four fast-moving, hard-working gentlemen. Very considerate of our needs and preferences. Strongly recommend them to other families and businesses.
