A Closer Look

This home inspector was let into the home by the realtor, who then left. No one else was there. Big mistake. After he left, there is now nearly $1000 worth of damage to the home that was not there before. Realtor said can't prove he did it! The list of damage: broken glass (the glass company said it was damaged by someone trying to force a locked window open from the inside- gee, how did that happen? Even the realtor admits there were no broken windows prior!) , damaged garbage disposer (which is suddenly missing a part that is nowhere to be found but was working prior), damaged sprinkler pump (we had to replace it), loosened water line (suddenly unthreaded drain in laundry room that had never had a problem or any water underneath), etc. The inspector refused to return my call or finish sending the report I asked to send. I plan to file a formal complaint with the Dept of Professional Regulation over his behavior.
