We LOVE, love, love our pool AND pool deck! Scott is light years’ different than what our friends and family have experienced. This is our 3rd pool remodel with Scott. (Different houses). He is meticulous, super attentive to detail and a true craftsman and artist. This was a huge project with the new travertine tile surround, mosaic glass detail, pool resurface, and Pentair water bowls with awesome lights— the project came out better than we could have EVER anticipated. Highly recommend if you can book him for your pool remodel or brand new pool. He is Brevard’s best by far!

We selected Plan It Pools because it is a small owner operated business. The owner was on the job when work was being performed. However, work was slow due to the one-man operation. We were not prepared for the length of time required to complete our project. We failed to ask in advance about how much time to expect. The owner was conscientious about the work. However, if there were questions or concerns, he tried to circumvent them by offering excuses. Excuses were generally related to timing of work and customer expectations. Owner was polite and completed job, although it took quite awhile.
Description of Work: Plan it Pools provided pool renovation and renewal service. Existing pool was re-tiled with the addition of steps and a water feature.

I’m sorry to see this homeowner reported a less than favorable experience on their remodel project. I would like to point out that our company was one of several “contractors” hired to do various aspects or parts of their swimming pool’s renovation. Plan It Pools, Inc. was not hired to run or schedule the entire project. As such, working on the project ( and around the schedule of other workers the homeowner hired ) proved to be challenging and inefficient. I do not feel any delay in the project was excessive or unreasonable. I would also respectfully add, the clients tended to make decisions as work progressed, and lots of changes in design aspects , materials to be used,etc. If you are considering any type of improvement, I can offer this advice to minimize delays,: Select all materials in advance of scheduling work. Complete design planning well ahead of starting the project. Hire a Licensed Contractor to schedule, coordinate, and supervise your Entire Project ( don’t attempt to farm out pieces in efforts to try and save money). I would similarly give myself a “ A ” on quality workmanship we completed for this project. I would likely agree with a “ C ” evaluation for execution, with the understanding that we were not in charge or the “Contractor” for the project. The homeowner was acting in that capacity . I am happy despite the “B” rating the client submitted they felt I was well mannered and said I was polite. Scott Thompson President Plan IT Pools Inc.

They are excellent. If I ever had any issues since then they will come back and help me out and they were really good. I have recommended them to others.
