Description of Work: Notified Island Air that I had witnessed a compressor line rupture. Tech (Jeff) said fitting could not be replaced and replacement compressor was required. Compressor was under warranty. Waited four days for compressor to be replaced. Cooling was at first good but rapidly decayed. Contacted Island Air again and owner responded, said a leak existed in brazed compressor line, repaired and recharged system. Again, system cooling decayed, cooling unit never shutoff because thermostat set temp. of 79 degrees could not be reached. FPL bill was astronomical for the month, in the mean time continued calls to the Owner was ignored! Star Quality of Vero responded and rectified the situation. FPL bill went down by 1/3 of the previous cost.

+ -1 moreMy wife and I found an incredible house to buy. We still had a house in Palm Bay. We rented our new house for a little while. While renting the condenser went out in the new house. Greg was recommended to us by a friend and we called him. He came out very quickly as that was the height of the summer. Greg found the condenser was bad. He researched the number on it and found that it was still under warranty. Greg ordered and replaced the condenser. About a year later we had purchased the new house knowing the A/Cs were old. One A/C quit and I called Greg. Before he could come out (which was very quick again) the person renting my other house called and said there was a problem with the A/C out there. When Greg arrived we talked about replacing all three A/Cs. I was saying that I wanted the best and I was willing to pay a little more to get energy efficient. Greg told me that he would of course sell them to me but that was not the best idea as we live beach side. I have to give Greg a lot of credit as he had the chance to make more money on me but chose to do the right thing. He recommended a very good model and also recommended the replacement for the rental. Greg pulled permits and delivered on time. They were very pleasant and very clean. I trust Greg and I recommend him to all of my friends.
