They arrived over an hour later than the agreed upon time, and they smelled like cigarettes.  They then said that the quote given wasn't high enough because I neglected to tell them I had a lot of windows and that we live in a two story.  I did tell them that we had a 3,000 square foot home, how many bedrooms, etc.  I assumed they would ask all the appropriate questions to give me an accurate quote.   When I entered the kitchen, the lady (who was actually very sweet), told me she broke my stove.  She couldn't get the burner to shut off.  She was very apologetic, and it was clear that it was an accident, and I appreciated how thorough she was trying to be.  She pulled up the trim around my built in stove to clean underneath it.  In doing so, something broke. I looked at it to try to get it to turn off, and couldn't.  Her husband pulled it up even more, took it apart, and still couldn't get it to work, although he did manage to get it an error message instead of it constantly being on.  He then tried to pin the break on me since I had looked at it so see if I could get it to shut off.  However, I didn't pull it up high enough to even get a good look underneath, and, not knowing much about circuit boards, didn't touch any of the wires.  He also accused my son of saying it was already acting up, which he never said because it never has acted up.  Ever. When they left, they did not have time to reassemble the stove correctly because I had to get to work.  They also did not even come close to finishing the cleaning, as we spent most of the time trying to figure out the stove.  The things they did clean look great.  Today, they were supposed to come over to attempt to fix the stove again.  An hour after they were supposed to show up, I called, and they said they couldn't get here until 2 this afternoon.  This doesn't work for me because I work in the afternoons.  I requested that rather than them attempting to fix it themselves that they file a claim with their insurance company.  They said they would call me back.  They are no longer returning my phone calls, but thankfully I have a copy of their business license and their insurance, and have filed a claim with the insurance.
