Top Notch did install a bypass for the heater. They charged me in excess of $200 for the bypass. I found Rome Aire to repair the heater at a cost less than the cost of putting in the bypass.

Top Notch has been servicing our properties for 14 years. They have been able to service our pools weekly, repair leaks, repair motors, filter etc. The best part is that they are professional. Someone from the office will contact us when something breaks and let us know the upfront cost. There is never any surprises or lapse in services.

We dealt with one of the owners Paul. He was fantastic from start to finish. Excellent at communication. He was at the job site every day sometimes twice. He has excellent attention to detail, and made his guys come back if he wasn't satisfied with the work even if we didn't notice a flaw he did and made changes. His workers were excellent and prompt and do quality work. We would recommend them to anyone. It is a nice change especially in South Florida were hard work and customer service are lacking.

Peninsula Pools are true professionals. They are very responsive, answer all your questions and have great design ideas. They definitely know what they are doing and are able to execute their designs perfectly. While not the cheapest around, I believe that you get what you pay for, and with Peninsula Pools, you get a wonderful result. Our new backyard is everything we hoped for. And best of all, it was done on time and on budget.

Front office is very professional and returns my calls. The tech that services our pool usually does a good job but there are times when we question as to whether or not he’s been there We've also had some plumbing work done on the pool by Top Notch. It was about an A- because I believe the install could have been cleaner. The repairs solved the problem and after several years continue to work properly. All in all they continue to service my pool and I see these issues as normal for the trade.

This company lies to its customers to get accounts and then charges for unneeded services. When I called looking for a pool service company I spoke to Amanda. I identified myself as coming from Angie's List. I specifically asked if they used their own employees to perform the service and was assured they did. As it turned out, the person they sent told me when I asked that he was a contractor, not an employee. Following the second service I received a bill for half a month plus $70 for stabilizer. They never advised that they would be stabilizing the pool which had just been stabilized 6 weeks prior and did not ask when it was last done. In 27 years a s Florida resident, no pool service has ever been so unethical. DO NOT USE!!!

We had them out for a quoted estimate. They were good and professional, but we didn't use them, because they were a little pricey.

We have been with Top Notch Pools for 14 years as our pool cleaning service and pool repairs. When we moved to a new house we contracted with Dave (owner)/Pennisula pools (construction part of business) to redo our pool and patio.After getting other estimates we once again chose Top Notch/Pennisula Pools. From the start to the end of the project, it was handled very professional. The crew was on time and very detailed. We went to the showroom to pick out the color of the diamond brite, pool tiles and travertine. The showroom had a nice selection to choose from. The patio came out great. We have gotten many compliments on how well the travertine was laid. The guys who laid it were very meticulous and took their time to make sure it was perfect. The overall job came out great. Dave has always gotten back to us in a timely manner and always answered any questions or concerns we have with the pool. I would highly recommend this company. For the pool cleaning end of the company, they are always there on the day they are set up for. I never need to worry that if I'm away they will just skip my house knowing we are not there to see them.

I thought the job went very well. Paul as excellent to work with. He was not a high pressure saleman. In fact, just the opposite. I felt like he worked with me as a partner to help me achieve the best result within my budget. Every answer Paul gave to my questions during the quoting process, was exactly the way it worked in the real world of doing the job. There were no surprises with Paul and he was one of the most credible contractors I've had the pleasure to work with. All the work was done by employees of Top Notch. That was very important to me. Their field Supervisor, Chino, kept me informed day to day as to how the work was progressing. He was there each day to inspect the work and direct the crews. He even personally cut my old coping tile off so to protect and save the existing tile I had around my pool. This was a huge saving for me. Last but not least, not only did they complete the work on time and within budget, they followed up with me on any issue I had afterwards. Their service was prompt and professional. I never had to call twice. They even went the extra mile in training me on how to maintain my own pool after the new diamond bright has been cured. Overall, I recommend them to any one of my friends or family members.
