Description of Work: Although it was kind of slow going to get a call back from Mister Sparky initially (they have a call center handling their calls), they were able to get someone out to us rather quickly and everything was done well. Electrical work is never cheap, so we expected it to be kind of pricey, but as far as we know, everything was done properly. We had our pool light disconnected and other wiring disconnected from around the pool area (this is due to hearing about electrocutions occurring in pools from lighting not being grounded). In any case, I would use them again in the future and would recommend.

Description of Work: Made contact with Deena Court from Mr. Sparkey inquiring about electrical service I would like performed. 1) I wanted two ceiling fans w/ lights installed where there is no existing junction. I said that there is power near the area approximately 15 feet and they would only need to put the conduit on the ceiling and wall. I already purchased the fan with light and remote control. No switch would need to be installed. 2) I wanted to install an electrical outlet in the master bathroom on the other side of the sink. There is one outlet on the other side of the sink. 3) I wanted a light kit to attach to an existing fan in the master bedroom. I had all the materials for this. I asked for a "ball park idea" what it would cost. Deena Court the manager said they can only give estimates once the technician comes to my residence. I asked for their hourly rate and I was told it was done by the job not by the hour. I was insistent to get some idea but I was told this was not their policy. I was told this was a free estimate so I could decide not to use their service once the estimate was provided. I decided to make the appointment and purchase the DEAL. I was not happy about their policy. Today June 3, I had an appointment between 1pm and 3 pm. They arrived around 2 pm. After looking at the job the technician realize he forgot his forms for estimates in the truck. He left and returned and gave me an estimate of $1,539 less the $116 DEAL for a total of $1,423. I told the technician the price was way out of my expectations and I was not going to accept it and he left. This was a total waste of my time to have Mr. Sparky come to my house.

Description of Work: Team arrived on time and completed the work quickly. I had purchased an Angie's List deal for a surge protector, and ever since they've installed the protector, we haven't had any problems with flickering lights. Great value and have recommended this company to my neighbors.
