Description of Work: Our Wall AC which was still under manufacturers warranty needed a new compressor and coil. Windswept ordered these parts and told me 10 business days, which is truly 2 weeks real time. 10 business days came and went, parts were not in, was told wasn't sure when, then told another 3-4 business days. The person I spoke with Sherri, was beyond rude, to both me and my husband. During one call she hung up on me, saying that "she warned me" that she would do so if i didn't stop demanding answers about the parts she said she ordered. After 3 full weeks of no AC, Sherri told me that she could not get any information about the whereabouts of the parts and that I would have to call the manufacturer to ask about parts. I did so, was given the correct information and then had to relay this back to Sherri, at windswept, but was told that as the company ordering and repairing the AC Sherri would be able to get this information. Sherri, just couldn't be bothered. After another follow up with the manufacturer, I was told that the compressor was shipped but they were waiting on the coil. Was then told they could "temporarily " fix our AC, which they did by putting in the new compressor and charging it with freon, telling us, they just recived the part in the day before (Sunday?). I, for a fact, know this part was received almost 2 weeks prior, and was told they needed both parts to fully fix our AC (obviously not). Still waiting on the coil, which according to the manufacturer, should have been to them by the 22nd of April, meaning the part should arrive to Winswept by the 29th. I guess I will only know if I call and speak to Sherri find out for myself. As all this was going on I did ask to speak to her superior, which, surprise, she was. After my last phone call to them asked repeatedly if she has ever heard of anyone being without AC for more then a few days, no answer from her, then asked if she had any recommendations since she should maybe try to be the consumer advocate, she told me to either wait it out or simply buy a brand new AC. Hmmmmm, thanks Sherri, thanks so very much, you will never do business with me or anyone I know in this small town we live in.
