+ -1 moreAt the outset of the project, they were the flooring sub-contractors for the builder who was in charge of our remodeling project (D'Asign Source - also of Marathon). When they saw the condition of the old sub-floor, they told the builder that it needed to be leveled before installing the new floor. The builder chose to instruct them to go ahead and install the new floor without leveling the sub-floor first. On completion of the installation, the new bamboo floor was "spongy" and sank up to 1/2" in numerous places. We declined to accept the floor and chose to have Ocean Floors install a "new" new floor over the "old" new floor. They finished the installation a couple of days ago and we are absolutely delighted with the result. We would recommend them to anyone without reservation.
Description of Work: They installed new bamboo flooring in about 1,300 square feet of our hoe in the Florida Keys. The material they used was of the highest quality and the price was very competitive. The key to their success is their knowledge of the business and the trade as well as their "customer-friendly" attitude which made it a pleasure to have them working in our home. We recommend them very highly and will be using them again shortly as we remodel our ground floor.
